Quess what I went to alton towers again on sunday (28,07,13) but this time got lots more footage so got at least 4 more videos to come so be on the look out as I could upload them anytime during the next week or so!

Ive always thought that Ripsaw could do with some theme music when going round. When it was open of course.
RIP Ripsaw, at least theres still Rameses Revenge at Chessington, its now been replaced by Wasteland Bash show

and then the chessington one got replaced with a new drop ride called croc drop

I remember this being there but never rode it as I don’t like spinny rides 🤢 but it was a really good ride to watch everyone else go on!!
I remember in year 5 we went on a trip here and people in my class went on it and I was like how the heck and why would u go on it- one kid was sick afterwards and only like 2 people liked it the others absolutely hated it

I worked at AT for many years. There's no way it could cut anyone. It was just there for a long time and they wanted the space - it was near Air.
It came to the end of its operating life that is all. It had a major mechanical failure and was uneconomical to repair.

Top spin rides are sick although their duration isn't super long most of the time.

I used to ride this but it only went because of the smiler crash I did not mind it but unlike Rameses Revenge which is closed now you don’t get splashed on its ride like as much as you do on Rameses revenge.
Not smilers fault they couldn’t be bothered looking after it.

Hot summers day of probably 98 and whilst queuing for this ride a girl with the biggest bells went on in a tight white top, during the face down section her assets escaped and where duly covered in water. Luckily for her only a few thousand people where watching and cheering back in the days when doing such a thing wasn’t a sex crime. This made a 16 year old lad very happy. RIP Ripsaw, forever a fond memory.

This was a great ride....I went to Alton Towers recently and quite frankly it is awful. They are doing what Blackpool have been doing for 20 years....building roller coaster after roller coaster. I long for my younger years and to visit these places again. Alton Towers and BPB are a quarter of what they used to be.I won't be going to these two places again.
Wtf is wrong with you? Alton Towers is amazing. The Smiler is one of the best coasters ever, Nemesis, Rita, Wicker Man, Oblivion, all great rides.

no it did not, The reason ripsaw closed was to provide parts for the HUSS topspin at heide park

because I thought that it was due to smiler incident because "The Flume" closed permanently at the end of the 2015 season to make room for Wicker Man which opened in 2018

That ride then is shit. When I went on it, it flipped you constantly and lasted alot longer than that. it rolled like twice just then through the whole thing. Never used to be that crap
