Wow such an amazing series! I see there’s no updates for 2 years though, maybe this was too ambitious? Still a great gift to the world, I binged these episodes while making my first pound cake.

I completely agree! It's actually funny because in school, I used to get really bored learning about history. It was my least favorite subject. I've actually learned that I really like history when it's about food lol

Well done, very professional. My mom always liked to make spice cake and chocolate mayonnaise cake. She thought that made it more moist. Jeannette

Thank you for your kind words! I've never had a chocolate mayonnaise cake before, but I've heard they taste really good. Can you taste the mayo or does it just make the cake moist?

And whoever broke their tooth or choked to death on the bean or pea was the loser. What a lost world, thats all it took to entertain a party, can you bake me a time machine? When was vanilla extract created?

I grew up in Brooklyn near a Entenmann's store in Crown Heights they were great then. Sarah Lee & Entenmann's taste like chemicals. I make my own from scratch!

You are definitely correct about the flavor. Homemade is the way to go!
