Fantastic game
And great bowling by Joe Root.
The issue we’re gonna keep having is Australia always have someone new to step up. Smith quiet at edgbaston but khawaja and stepped up. Cummins smith khawaja Warner labuschane. Unreal battin line up
Travis head was spectacular, I have no words for smith
Smith was Brilliant , Head was Aggressive , Labuschagne was Defensive but David Warner Absolute Masterclass and the start Australia desperately wanted . Sadly couldn't see him hitting 100 at Lord's !!!! Waiting to see Smudge 💯💥
Best test batsman of this generation Steve Smith ❤
No matter how you look in stance,it is all about control and balance while making contact with the ball
Hia atance is beautiful ❤
The Thing make smith best in Fav 4 is his consistency..
No one in fav 4 is no where near him...
Steve Smith the modern day maharaja of batting ❤️
Miss you 😢 zophra Archer
great to see duke ball swing in cloudy condition 🤩
Smith is once in a generation test player, Period. Like we had Sir Don, Keith Miller, Sober, Sunil Gavaskar, Imran, Sachin, Sanga, Lara, Ponting, Kallis. Root and Virat also worth mentioning.
many of the names you mentioned are from same generation so they can’t be called “once in a generation players”
@@hotice4507573 Sir Don in 30s, Miller in 40s, sober in 50s, Sunny in 70s, Imran in 80s, Sachin in 90s, rest three were in first decade of 2000 and later 3 are from 20s So decade gap
@@_LongwindedSachin is 4 years younger than Lara. He played his 1st test in 1989, Lara in 1990. Lara played his last test in 2006. They are definitely the same generation.
@@williamparker7467 Dude I'm praising OGs and you opposing.
Virat in tests ? In the same bracket as Sachin,Smith and Bradman ? Naah. He is the GOAT in ODIs but not in Tests. Averages 33 in England, 36 in NZ. Decent but not quite in the same league as those like Sachin and Smith, especially in swinging conditions. Has a habit of fishing way outside offstump that a player as talented as him should have overcome by now but hasn't despite playing for so long.
Great White-ball player, perhaps the greatest. Not quite at the same level in Tests.
Those two deliveries from Tongue were class
Smith and root both are legends in test cricket.
5:14 what a shot smuldge
6:35
Mark my words the way Travis head playing he is special future legend in making
Steven Smith is always lost in his own perfection, when it comes to the ultimate format! Hope he gets a big one tomorrow 💥🔥
Edit: Wish he could continue longer. Still, a stellar performance from the best test batsman of this generation! 👏🏻
Greatest of ALL Time?...really?..... that would be YOUR time.
@@flamingfrancis Fair enough. I've edited my previous comment now
King Smith 👑 is back again 🔥. Father of English crowds. 👑
Smith at lord's beast mode on
I don't care what anyone says about Smith being unorthodox or whatever...his cover drive is a thing of beauty. One of the best batsmen I've ever seen.
Fantastic and Brilliant player Steve Smith
At age 41 and consistently bowling close to 140 in test cricket.. O my god how super human is this guy... God bless you man❤
There must be a record of number of dropped catches on his bowling surely
140 he hardly bowls that...he is always 130...Aus will be happy to face tired and ineffective Jimmy ...As Aus fan I just love their openers, Jimmy with no spinners in Eng team...
@@bivinnathan3243 Absolutely ineffective really! Every bowler getting hit over 4 an over while Anderson is under 2… Warner edged and gets lucky 🍀.. God bless the ineffective old man 👴
@@ThankYouGoogle4 With that overhead conditions and your premiere bowler is not taking wickets and happy with containing...it's not just this game, he has failed in 1st test aswell... instead of Jimmy they should have gone with Fast bowler Wood...
I think you mean 130kph
Cameron Green is enjoying in his T20 mode😎🔥
Simply that shot was needed at that time
Yeah 😑.I'm a big fan of greenie from 2019 but he has been a really nervous starter in tests. Iam hoping every match that he gets a good 50 or a 100 but 😞
I feel Cameroon Green is not a test player.
@@pranavpratheekmalleboyina4483 there is his bowling too bro he is a very decent bowler and yeah 35 avg with the bat not really bad for a guy who also takes wickets. If we give him sometime he'll develop. He is either playing too much defense or too much attack. Both are not good. But he has got good defence and leaves the ball very well when he plays defensive so he has potential. Probably he is struggling with mindset
@@pranavpratheekmalleboyina4483 and yeah look at his career sr. Its 47. In fact he has played too defensive mostly. So yeah he either needs to be clear that he wants to play like head or he should start to find right balance bw attack and defence.
@@mahit7037 totally agreed 👍 bro
What a batting from Warner. He played really well.
But Travis Head was playing really good and aggressively and is a mixture of ODI and T20 and scored 50 in 48 balls.😳😳🤯🔥🔥🔥
But sadly, he got out, still he played well 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Warner seriously ? He was dropped by Pope that too a simple catch when he was below 20 or it would have been another failure for him. He needs to retire especially from test cricket
@@nishantthaccker1173He said he will retire from Test Cricket after playing the test series against Pakistan next year
@@nishantthaccker1173what about rohit sharma ? If you talk about dropped catches then rohit sharma is not even a good player🤣🤣🤫
I will never forget his 163 vs India
@@nishantthaccker1173roshit sharma got 200s,100s after getting dropped many and getting other batsman runout.. so he is not even a player
Broad and Anderson are the legend of the game but i think now time is up for both of them give opportunities to youngsters
Travis Head was fantastic. Helped Steve Smith play the long game.
No doubt they’re the champions and this is how champions play🔥
We saw you cry on telly has riled up smith, barmy army been never be any better ready to get slaughtered by smith ❤
Unstoppable cover drive by s Smith ♥️
Sir Steven Smith❤️🇧🇩
much better highlights to enjoy ! thanks for that !
