Although I really like this, I don't get it. Is this a game that uses real life footage for the gameplay? Is there a game called Railfan that has this precise HUD, and that same HUD was put over real-life footage to make a mix between reality and the game? Can someone clear me on this? Thank you :D
This is a PS3 game that uses real life footage shot out of the train cab, with real recorded sounds to go along with the picture. The simulator then plays back the video according to how fast you're going basically. But the simulation itself is also pretty accurate, hence the fact that they can sync a video to it. If you're interested, the game is called "Railfan Taiwan Koutetsu"
