The food you had at the end 割包(Taiwanese hamburger). I believe you can actually find it in UK.
BTW don't be afraid to ask the local people for help, Taiwanese people are very friendly even if they speak very little English.
And be careful in Taiwan with all the foods, because you might not realize you gained 5 to 10 lbs after leaving Taiwan. 😅

Nothing beats taking the THSR in Taiwan. It was nice having you show how helpful the folks in Taiwan are. I always tell people that there is no reason to worry about ever feeling lost or anxious taking public transit in Taiwan, because you are never far away from VERY helpful and friendly staff. This of course is nothing like public transit in the USA - where it is more of a Mad Max type experience (at best) and very often public transit in the USA will leave you questioning all of your life choices.

Popular spots in Taroko include the eternal spring shrine, shakadang trail(there’s a ‘farmer’s market’ run by aboriginals), 9 tunnel trail.
My favourite is the water curtain cave, not many foreigners know of this place. It’s a man made tunnel made many years ago with the water vein ruptured, creating water curtains in the cave! The cave was closed due to a mysterious landslide that covered the whole place with white dust similar to snow, but it’s now open(I think).

Most of the foreigner got confused by the translation of the name of the destination. In Taiwan, we used Webster pinyin as the major translation methods to separate from the Chinese Pinyin. Recently, Taiwan noticed that most foreigner recognize Chinese Pinyin better, so some translation has been changed to Chinese pinyin. That is why you found Xiaogang and Siaogang for the same destination but in different spelling. Xiaogang is Chinese pinyin used in China, and Siaogang is the way Taiwan used. For Webster pinyin, it will be Hsiaogang. Very confusing, I know.

What a lovely architecture! Yet that bullet train looks sexy. Man I would dig in $37 for that train ride. I noticed some of the locals speaking 'Taiwanese' or Hokkien. I think you might impress the locals if you used Taiwanese rather than Mandarin greetings - 'to sia' or 'kam sia' for thank you and 'li ho' for 'hello'.

Thanks bro! We don’t really have time or energy for sport or exercise. However we are walking a tonne we also carry our backpacks so I think we’re getting enough activity. It would be nice to have some sport in our lives but it will have to wait because we are grinding the videos out right now 💪

We find it easier to move with the big backpacks in most of the SEA countries but definitely in the future we want to invest in good luggage because it's killing our backs sometimes 😂
