    Really wish they had 52 daily pages. I'd reformat it for myself to list my weekly tasks, emails, errands, phone calls.

      I wondered why they didn't do 52 pages also.....You have a great idea of how to use them! They do have a few notes pages you could always use those for the last few weeks of the year. But I understand why you want the 52 Daily pages!

    This planner looks fantastic! I have been using a daily Day Designer planner that I purchased at Target. It worked out well and I had 'planner peace' for longer than usual. Lol. It's actually a little smaller than the mini on the website and doesn't have a hard cover. The daily pages make it a bit bulky, and I prefer a sturdier cover. I don't usually care for weekly lay outs because there is very little structure for making entries. Usually just lines, or blank all together. This weekly layout is perfect! I love it! Can't wait for it to arrive in the mail so I can get started with it. Thank you so much for this video!!

    How cool that they included daily pages in the weekly! I love it and all the extra pages in the back. I may have to give this some thought when they come out with their calendar year planners. I don't care for the Monday start on the months but I probably could deal with it.

      Thanks from sharing your thoughts Jen; I always love hearing them:) I agree on the Monday start on monthly. I have gotten used to it and used it in the Hobonichi & Passion Planner before. But it does mess me up until I get it set in my head! LOL.

    Great review. Love the idea of having a few daily pages in a weekly planner! I don't understand why they couldn't have added just 6 more pages of dailies to have at least one per week? That would only be an additional 3 sheets of paper. If volume is the issue, then reduce the number of notes pages.

    • @AmandasFavorites

    This is close to perfect, considering the aesthetic and layout! However, the thinner paper is a deal-breaker. Inkwell Press paper has raised the bar so high for me.

    I agree, I do like the daily pages in the weekly book. However, I don’t think I would pay $59 for an O-ring book. I do love the black and white stripe and all of those cool extra pages in the weekly. I have a weekly planner right now and I am tempted to move to a daily with church homeschool etc. to keep track of. Do you know of a company that allows you to print out a sample of a daily planner?

    • @AmandasFavorites
      @AmandasFavorites  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Sarah, thanks for sharing all your thoughts:) Day Designer does let you print a daily page, and so does Simplified. Those are the 2 companies with Daily planners that I can think of right now that let you print;) Hope that helps!

    I am so in love with this planner. I don't really care for the first few pages (I use my Power Sheets for all that) but I love the layout and the daily pages that are added in the back. I wish EC had a planner similar to this--if they could put a daily planner together similar to their petite planners I think that would be perfect because I love their style, size, paper, etc. But I'm tempted to use this planner this year.

    I'm trying to decide which planners I want for next year, but I keep on coming back to this one for all the extras in the back and I love the year-at-a-glance with the broken out boxes for each month... Do you know if you 2020 Flagship weekly planner will also include these? Also do you have a comparable planner maybe I should check out? I've seen your videos for Inkwell Press, ShePlans, KitLife Planner, and I keep on leaning back towards the Day Designer. I'm currently using a Passion Planner (for work) and Happy Planner for (Fitness/daily).

    I like the design and the layout of pages of this planner, but I would prefer more luxurious paper. Is there any brand you could recommend?

    • @AmandasFavorites
      @AmandasFavorites  5 лет назад +1

      The only thing that comes to mind right now is InkWELL Press. Pick their Horizontal Flex layout, and then you get to add in as many undated Daily pages or their half-sheet daily pages as you want! you can put them after each week or at the back. Also add as many notes pages as you want! My InkWell Press 2020 video comes out this next week October 8th and I will show you all this in the video. IWP has AMAZING thick 140gsm paper. Their disc system is so well made. Quality all the way through. Even if you don't think you could like discs...don't write this one off until you at least see my video next week:) I also have a $10 OFF your FIRST order link:) Hope that helps.

      Hi:) You could use these 2 together if you are someone that needs a weekly layout & a daily page everyday;) I use a weekly planner (erin condren) & a daily planner or notebook for daily lists and To Do's. I share how I do that under my "Updates" playlist. Every quarter I give an update on how I am planned in that quarter. Here is a video that shows my basic system:

    There is a very similar daily planner from Target! (I think a day designer collab) Could you compare the two?! My gut says to go with Target because it’s cheaper but I don’t want to lose any quality! I’m looking for nice quality paper they doesn’t bleed, smudge, bend etc.

    • @TaylorxPayton
      @TaylorxPayton 5 лет назад

      Ahhhh after watching your video, I’m even more torn! I watched you top 5 daily planners but can’t decide!! Too many options. If you could only use ONE daily planner for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?
      PS:
      (I’m a graduate student, part time job, looking to incorporate some very brief gratitude, fitness/health goals and tracking, long to-do, minimal schedule, money tracking??, and paper that doesn’t bleed! I’m also left handed so sometimes get super annoyed with a chunky spiral or a very minimal margin before the text) let me know if you have any suggestions!!! Thank you!!

      Hi Taylor, The Day Designer from BlueSky at Target is like their sister brand. It is not the same cover or paper quality....But go and feel them...if you are happy with it then it is a wonderful & affordable option. I personally always come back to my Simplified planner. I have tried out all the daily planners I review (some for one day some for months)...and I always have come back to my Simplified Daily. I used it before I started my channel and it just feels like home to me. I like the feel of the Simplified paper, and the colors. It doesn't mean it's the best. It just fits my personality and my life right now the best;) Good luck!

    Thank you! I didn't notice a description of the Sat / Sun boxes on the weekly- just that they were shared. Do they have tick boxes? Also, the daily shares a page for Sat/ Sun, right? I'm really excited about the daily and other additional pages in the weekly!

      There are no tick off boxes for Sat/Sun...Just 7 lines each. I am sorry if I didn't shoe that in the weekly! Great video as usual! I hate that the daily doesn't have some of those helpful pages at the back that the weekly has. Also, that 60# paper might be a deal breaker. A lot to think about. Thank you for the review! I do think that is genius to put some daily pages in the back of the weekly though!
