I am wondering, why instead of throttle valve in adjusting the extend speed of a single acting cylinder we need to use a one-way control valve? 🤔

'cause the teacher hasn't purchased any... We don't have a throttle valve in our "tackle box" at school, only a one-way control valve.

Not sure if you're going to reply, but in my fluidsim, the one way valve only have label and layer. Is there anything wrong with my installation?

Not sure. If I right-click on the valve it provides me with the option to adjust the opening... but my version is very old.

For speed control of double acting cylinder on what pressure should I set my frl

Really depends on the application. We have our pressure set at 35-40psi.... but we have no load on the cylinders

In Pneumatics we want to fix a flow control valve in exhausting position only but with this circuit the air is controlled when going inside but the another end of air will exhaust easily so we can't control the Speed of the cylinder because this median is compressible for hydraulics this will suit

I think you need an inline regulator. www.ebay.com/itm/3x-Inline-Air-Regulators-Brass-1-4-NPT-air-tool-accessory-paint-gun-die-grinder-/371662504663
The die grinders usually come with a throttle lever to control speed, but the inline regulator should help to reduce speed even further.
