Oh Sarah, I just love your drone shot footage! Plus you slow it down...slow mo style and it's so beautiful and peaceful like your floating on air! The driving part too, in slow mo is mesmerizing, and your voice as you narrate this video... I felt relaxed and peaceful. You are so good with your commentary and describing in your words it's poetic! You do a great job with your editing! 💯👍 Loved your local resident pal, Babs.... she's a hoot! Love you two gals together...such fun energy! Looking forward to meeting you and Babs! Enjoy your time there... before it's time for you to leave on the open road. Be well and safe. Love you my friend! 💕✌️🤠
dirt bike from ridgecrest to tecopa through the mountains...luv 'delights hot spring'.. and the more public campground pools next door.. eat at the bistro! ' mercy springs' . central cali also. worth a stop...
Hi Jeepsy, glad you're out and about and exploring again with your lil one! Kisses on the head to lil one. I'm still struggling and recovering from my untimely move from my mountain home to a crazy kind of house in Bakersfield region.😢 ( got slammed with pnumonnia again) phooey! I'm coping and trying to heal. Hope to get back on my feet in 2025 and perhaps obtain a way to travel out the senior retirement days of my life. It's a dream/ wish I sincerely have😊
Goodmorning Sarah! Thank you for sharing Tecopa and those awesome hot springs! And I loved seeing your special town guest Babs who looks amazing for 80 years young!!😂😂 Stay safe and have an awesome meet and greet!! See ya on the next adventure!!😊
Your drive into Tecopa brings back great memories! Delights hot springs and the little restaurant, the China Ranch Date Farm and the natural hot springs, love the peace and quiet out there. Greetings from a fellow Jeeper and South Carolina and safe travels!
Good to see one again. I think one is getting thinner or something too. Colorado Springs Colorado has mineral water baths there, this is the town at the foot hills of Pike's Peak. One heck of walk too. It's 14,785 feet above sea level Handicapped Paul made it all the way except the last mile. It snowed up to my waste in minutes towards the big rock climb to the top. I liked one video. We found the other Saraha too. Have fun. Paul I really did smoke four or five packs of smokes a day and others took my cigrettes too. I left smokes in the car came back and they were gone. Been 37 years, 9 moths and 29 days off of the smokes. Lung is not weezing so much now. Paul
I remember doing laundry at the old abandoned Laundromat. My grandparents lived there. my grandfather was county supervisor. He was the one who got Tecopa it's first fire truck in the 70s. Those rocks in the triangle with drill holes were when the miners would compete during Amargosa days every year. Wish I could make it next week.
Babs is another timeless looking beauty thanks to the hot springs there in Tecopa. No "wonder" it's her favorite place to go for a soak. She's got a supple complexion of a 20 year old so it is worth the bourgeois hippie lifestyle desert living she has grown to love. Speaking of nuts (LOL) don't forget to stop at the China Ranch Date Farm for a refreshing nonalcoholic date shake! Excellent drone footage Sarah! Glad it wasn't too windy for it.
The Sarah's are like Ponce de Leon in search of a mystical Pleistocene Lake of bubbling hot springs. Always there and forever entertaining. Stay safe and unto yourself.
You can see ALL the GREEN stuff…🥴…..that would be plants & trees & grass…..😉 That cracked me up 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I saw it hit your expression 🤪🥰🥰🥰😆 ALL THE GREEN, BABY 👊🏼🇺🇸💕 I once read a book called “Dressed To Kill” & I stopped wearing high heels & underwear altogether 🤫🫢
Loving the meditative style segments of your recent videos. And we get a geography and history lesson too, win-win! Babs, 87? I'm booking my airfare now! 😜
I just love these journeys into the desert! I lived much of my childhood in 29 Palms and we would go to Desert Hot Springs, but I never got to go to Tecopa. That indoor plunge at the end of the video looked really nice. I used to live in T-or-C NM and some of the hot springs there were very primitive but still nice. My old bones could use a trip to the hot springs, but those are to far away for me. I should move there 😀 Thank you for taking us to that beautiful area! I know some folks don't appreciate a desert like that but it thrills my soul!❤
I camped at the Shoshone RV park just below the hot springs pool, during the meet and greet. It was surreal to see this in person. And the pool comes with this amazing experience.
Come over to Pahrump, NV. You'll find a much larger town sitting on water at the low point of an ancient lakebed. No hot springs but enough water to support cotton and other crops until houses took over in the 1970s.
Tecopa is spacial place magic quietly been spending many nights in peace away from Vegas to relax! Thank you Sarah to share amazing view it's just take me back good time! Love the drone view ❤
Husband is in the audience. Your pan over the highway I saw all the black tar stripes where tar was poured into the cracks. Back in small town Edmonds, Wash. 1946 - 1950, it was exciting to see the road repair crew come up the street pulling the big tar furnace , tossing in blocks of tar and then pouring liquid tar into the cement cracks. No tv for kids yet, so the tar man, the ice man bringing big blocks of ice for the outside ice chests. Kids rushed to see if we could get some ice chips. 😁
this was fun, for sure. It's a better look at a town I feel I've come to know. Not easy when ya live in the uk! And Babs? Really?! Okay, i'll let it ride. Be well Sarah. And happy and safe. Dems my roolz! Take care, Love ya, Wolfie.

Love your drone shots. The scenery from the air is beautiful. I liked your friend Babs the local gal. She looked vaguely familiar. I hiked into the same two hot springs in this video. I didn't go in. A couple of benches there would be nice. I hope to get a brief photo op with you and Miss Wonderhussy on Saturday. There'll a big long conga line of old guys waiting for the same thing. Hasta luego, senorita!
I ❤ Tecopa and I never wear underwear to hot springs ♨️. I'll spend a month there this winter. A week in Tecopa isn't long enough. Thanks for this video, helping me with another significant life change. 🌹
With all that sub surface water you would think there would be more vegetation. The water must have mineral content so high that nothing can grow. What does the town do for drink water, truck it in? Good over view!
❤ Loved Babs! Headed home to smoke another pack. I was told a few years agotheres healing hot springs in southern Nevada. I'm wondering if they actually meant Tecopa
Tecopa's higher elevation than Death Valley probably receives more annual rainfall, contributing to the vegetation also. Nice work Sarah-you're getting some great aerial footage! Magnesium sulfate is good for relieving muscle fatigue and I assume it is the key mineral in the spring water there. (Epsom salt) Anyone know? The consumption of high levels of magnesium AKA the mineral water can cause digestive issues and diarrhea.
Such beautiful scenery in the Death Valley area and a good video with a history lesson. I am surprised that area is not being pumped dry for LA. Stay safe in that area, but enjoy yourself.
What stupendous natural beauty. And i had heard that Tecopa was sitting on a vast store of water, evidently that's the case! This video is a masterpiece, thanks Sarah! 🩵💜💙
Have you considered living there? Everyone would know you , and you'd have lots of protection. I'd bet the one legged miner could "build" you an underground house like they do in Australia. Nice and cool - no A/C needed!
Informative, and beautifully created video, girly… I love your channel, I’m a newbie❤would you do a video on the artist tattoos you are rocking? I love your philosophy too😊
What do the restaurants/private homes do for water? If it comes out of the ground hot with high mineral content, it doesn't seem people would have wells. Looks like a very unique, interesting town....thanks for 'tour.' I'll definitely have to go there and soak in the hot springs if heavy smoker Babs looks that good at 87, lol.
Oh C'mon Babs .. 3 packs in the morning and 4 in the afternoon? Ok. Whatever you say gal! I don't even know if she's really 87 years old. But if she is, she sure is very fortunate to look that good!
Hi sarah, thanks for the vid, say gi to babs and tell her i love her disgiuse , hope you two are having a blast, i would imagine you two have the WHOLE town talking!❤❤😊
I bet that water would help me, I got a lot of skin issues but it will be a while before I can make it out there, unfortunately, for the meetup....would have been fun, but my van is just not running good enough, plus I just am not going to do it financially...maybe next time.

That Babs woman looked amazing for her age, she was originally a Rockette dancer on Broadway back in the 1950's!
Amazing! I didn't know that!
@@donut-w3t Now thats just plain silly talk!
@@prophetmargin7497 I'm thinking she was joking about her age, just as she was joking about smoking 7 packs a day.
