Hi Amanda, 73 degrees that’s perfect Looks so peaceful there. Happy to hear Wynston’s medication is helping him 👍 Very cool you had help with that reaction. Good temps For getting your chores done. Enjoy
Thank God yr safe . I always pray for u and wynston to keep u both safe and well. Glade yr feeling better just take it easy for at least 1 day let yr body get well.❤
I’m so happy to hear that you were able to get some help pretty quickly. Especially it being dark and rainy. Sorry you weren’t feeling well while filming the video. Hopefully you can have a nice and quiet evening. Tell Wynston to give you extra hugs tonite. Be careful Amanda and Winston. ❤ If you you need a day off, please do so, if you can. See you on the next one.
Hahaha. I love how Winston sniffs the food before taking it as if you might be pulling a fast one on him and feeding him medicine. My Yorky does that too. Good tip about having cell wherever you camp. I'll make sure I do when I camp alone since I don't have any of those Garmin or Starling tools either.
As someone with high blood pressure, after an episode of high blood pressure it can make you feel bad for 1-2 days. Add the Benadryl on top of that yes you can feel even worse. Glad there was help nearby.
Sounded like you had a good time at party, I am gearing up to start my van life in January, wanted to get there earlier so could get more situated there in Quartzsite before all the festivities got going there. Van running hot & trying to get fixed hopefully soon, wish me luck. Sorry your not feeling wel, I break out also, really don't know what it is, but it does seem to act up more in summer & after petting the dogs, the doctor gave me prescribed cream that works wonders. Understand your worries about worrying about Winston, cause I'll be bringing 2 fur babies I often think about that situation, good tip about phone.
You did the right thing calling for help. I don't like folks to make a big fuss about me, either, so i sometimes wait too long to ask for help. I'm really glad you're going to be ok. That was sweet of that officer to sit with Wynston. Take care, dear. We love you both. 💘💖💓
You were fortunate that help was so close by. I've had Hashimotos for 30 years. I also have had skin reactions and other allergic symptoms. I'm not sure if that's typical or not. I'm glad you are doing better!❤❤
Just came upon your channel in my feed, enjoying your videos, I'm in Gilbert and I'm just now taking an interest in camping and RVing, hoping to start soon, Thanks for posting.
Hello Amanda you may already know this but wanted to make sure you knew just in case...I too have hoshimotos and was shocked when my doctor had to put me on blood pressure medication...i had no clue that high blood pressure is one of the many joys we get with our hoshi's...from what i got outta my doc was that our arteries to our heart dont work how they should so it causes our heart to work over time to circulate blood thruout our bodies which is why we get tired from excercising or doing any kinda activities...i thought i was just outta shape hahaha...anyways keep an eye on that you may need to go get on blood pressure meds like i did.
@@AdventuringWithAmandaGood for you; you make me proud of you in many ways❤❤❤ I manage my issues with herbs, spices n vitamins n minerals. I take magnesium, selenium, iodine n vitamin D with K2 to manage my thyroid issues. I also use vitamins n minerals along with herbs n spices for my dogs issues from allergies etc. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Scary....a simple bee sting gave me cellulitis on my arm within hours of the sting. Swollen red rash, hot, painful, itch that kept me awake for days. Urgent care required to get antibiotics, pain meds and prescription level antihistimins. Yes, it can be very scary when you alone. Few years black widow bite did the same thing to my leg and left an ulcerated hole for a month. Be VERY careful when going thru brush. A tic bite can ruin the rest of your life if you get lime disease. You did the right thing to call for help. Looking forward to watching your Quartzsite travels.
Always have an envelope, easy to see, in your visor that reads "in case of emergency". Listed should be emergency contacts ALONG with who to call for your pet incase you are dead, missing or unconscious. Stuff happens. It's life on the road. Sometimes one isn't in cell phone range ... the best kind of camping because then you are not staring at a phone all the time. Grab a good book and GO.
I’ve worked for the DNR Department of Natural Resources that person that checked on your dog was probably a conservation officer there part of the DNR!!!!
maybe its elevation issue, hope you feel better back in the lower desert. Wynston reminds me so much of my "Waitor" he had a tuxedo bowtie colors, like a little waiter... we would call him like Spongebob called the waiter in the movie... funtimes.
FYI: US Forest Service (federal) have LEO's (law enforcement officers). Each National Forest employs LEO's. They were probably out there training with other agencies to deal with many situations in the back country.
Not sure this works in the States. A guy I watch in BC Canada, said if you don't have cell service and you have Apple phone, you can text 911 and they text back, pretty fast. A guy was with him and did it. He's like no no, im fine no don't need anyone. And I think the texted him, a little later to see if he was all right. Might be something to look into. Feel better
@AdventuringWithAmanda off topic, I'm fron Ontario Canada and I live in the country. Wanted to stop the mice from attacking my riding lawnmower. I decide to order the Grandpa gus, only place I could find it was on ebay, but they don't deliver to Canada. I tried. 🙂
Glad it was not terribly serious. I feel ya, being in the ambulance, that moment of uncertainty - being separated from Wynston (Anxiety spike). Do you keep Benadryl with you at all times? it occurred to me this might be a good thing to have in the kit.
Enjoy your videos and your affection for Grand Caravans, have you noticed a big difference in the inside temperature between your old red van and the lighter colored silver you have now?
I've been holed up in the north waiting for the Q to cool down. Made it here yesterday. Spent the last 2 months bouncing around between Flagstaff, Williams and Wickenburg. My fav was Williams at Dog Town Lake area. Easy to find your way around. Flagstaff was good but Wickenburg was like a " city dump". As usual it's not campers but vocals that have zero respect for the environment. One place looked like abandoned trailers exploded and their contents were everywhere. Lots of camping up Vulture Mine Rd. If you can handle the trash. Sad😢
I'm so glad you were close to assistance when you had your reaction. First responders are angels on earth ♥
I think so too!
My grandson AJ is a first responder in Virginia. Recently obtained his
NREMT. WORKING IN BUSY Virginia is keeping ❤❤❤❤😅😅
Don't think anyone will ever complain.❤❤❤❤
Amanda please take care of yourself. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
I'm thankfully feeling better this evening. 🥰
Glad you’re better! Leave it to you to camp down the road from the police, first responders, paramedics! Now that’s what I call planning😁😁
Right?! I guess it was meant to be? Ahahaha.
I’m so thankful you are safe and you are feeling better!
Hi Amanda, 73 degrees that’s perfect

Very cool you had help with that reaction. Good temps
For getting your chores done.
Enjoy
I live in the white mountain area and this morning it was 23 degrees, yes winter is here! Use to live in the havasu area, love the mountains more!
Allergic reactions are scary. Be well soon. 😊
Omg! So thankful that the temps in SW AZ have dropped finally! It has been a long and brutal summer this year!
I'm so glad I spent most of the summer away from Arizona. The heat was especially terrible this year.
I got to Lake Havasu yesterday and it’s perfect weather right now. Glad you made it back to the desert. All will be fine👍🏻
I love Lake Havasu!
Enjoyed again Amanda and Wynston glad everything turned out ok❤
Thanks John ❤️
Thank goodness first responders were close by!
Thank God yr safe .

You got van things to do ♥️
That's right sister!
"I can't be feeling crappy, I've got stuff to do." Same! I'm glad you're okay.

We absolutely LOVE Arizona!! Happy travels!

So glad you are ok & were able to get help so quickly. Safe travels to your next destination.
Oh my goodness! Girl! You are amazing!😮😊
I think you’re wonderful Amanda with a lovely heart! So happy we’re friends Gary
Glad you are doing better. Take care.

Yes I think it's common for Hashimotos.
Glad you're all good. I have to keep some Epi pens in my van just in case. Hope to see you in January 😃
Can't wait to see you JJ!
I’m glad everything is okay. That was smart thinking. I would have panicked. 😂❤❤
It's hard NOT to panic!
Glad your ok
Thanks!
Thank you!
Glad your feeling alot better.
I'm glad you and Wynston are both ok and that you didn't have to be taken to the hospital. Take care.
Yes thankfully I'm feeling MUCH better.
Just came upon your channel in my feed, enjoying your videos, I'm in Gilbert and I'm just now taking an interest in camping and RVing, hoping to start soon, Thanks for posting.
Really cool that you had help just minutes away! Glad you're feeling better!
Hope you feel better soon. Very glad you had it looked at.
Hello pretty Amanda. I like your power station set up. Have a beautiful day your friend always Gary.

I don't take any meds, and I'd love to keep it that way. 😅 A daily vitamin D supplement got my Hashimotos under control. I'm so thankful!

The hungover feeling is from the Benadryl
Terrible lolol

Yes. Great call!

I'm so glad you are okay. Take it easy and hugs to you and Winston 🤗🤗
Thanks Tina!
Glad you are okay! I have really bad reactions to bug bites. It’s not fun.
I am loving the cooler weather down here in Tucson!
I'm so glad it's actually feeling like fall!
Scary, Amanda! Perfect responders were so close! Good Boi Wynston taking his meds. Can't wait to see Yellow Wolf and Taco. 🖤🤍🐾🐾🤎🤍🐾🐾😁
I can't wait to see them also!

Wynston reminds me so much of my "Waitor" he had a tuxedo bowtie colors, like a little waiter... we would call him like Spongebob called the waiter in the movie... funtimes.
We were only at 5500 feet. I only become affected by elevation if I'm over 10,000ft.
Smart girl ❤
Glad you are feeling better. I've always wondered what I'd do if I were alone and choked or something.
It can be a scary thought.
Hi Amanda
Hi Alan 💖
FYI: US Forest Service (federal) have LEO's (law enforcement officers). Each National Forest employs LEO's. They were probably out there training with other agencies to deal with many situations in the back country.
They're other allergy meds that wont make you groggy. I hate benadryl, it too makes me feel hungover and it takes full 24 hrs to feel better.
The medical medium information explains how some folks have successfully dealt w hashimotos

I do believe you can text 911 here but I'm honestly not 💯 sure!

Yes I have a first aid kit and Benadryl for both me and Wynston.
Enjoy your videos and your affection for Grand Caravans, have you noticed a big difference in the inside temperature between your old red van and the lighter colored silver you have now?
Yes, but only because my windows are very tinted and I have super high quality custom window shades.
Glad you're feeling better! I know about 911, but what number do you dial for nonemergency?
I've called non-emergency in a few different jurisdictions over the years, and I typically just Google "non-emergency phone number in my area."

I'm normally in Q by now! This weather has been crazy. I was in Williams two weekends ago and it was snowing!
I'm glad you're okay.
Did you wear a costume to the party... we want to see it....
Ahahaha no. I'm not into dressing up. 😅
just wondering, are you related to the young lady who also does RUclips (Just Rowan), you two look so similar, like sisters or cousins
I'm not sure who that is but nope. 😅
I watch her, too.
I am glad you asked this because I was wondering the same! They do look very similar
☺️🚘

Hey thanks for being here!
So scary!! I'm grateful I travel with a partner. Hubby pays close attention to my health. I'm happy you're ok. 🫶🫶
You were super lucky, I'm glad they were close by. 🪽🍀🕊
So glad you are ok!!
