Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
The Tag Heuer Aquaracer 300m in older models from 2018 to 2020 sounds like a better choice than the 200m solargraph/automatic of 2024. It is my pick during my college years, the Tissot PRX is also magnificent, a really good watch for education environment but still looks really sporty or dressed up when needed. Also, besides the Hydroconquest, I would suggest the Spirit model, a really good Longines piece, it looks fashionable and active. If anyone looks for some other brands, The Maurice Lacroix Aikon or Frederique Constant Highlife also really attracts students.
I love what Hamilton is coming out within the khaki field line(expedition and mechanical). I Just got the khaki mechanical for my high school graduation and couldn't be happier.

My fav of 2024 is 38mm Hamilton Expedition white dial on bracelet. All around amazing watch and it is the only white dial watch I would own! Not sure if that would be afforable for students. I'd tell them to get some Casio watches and one automatic under $200.

Certina DS super PH 1000 in turquoise is my favorite affordable 2024 watch that I will get next. But, my favorite out right now is is the White Omega Speedy.. just pure class, but out of my price range. Elegant, classy and yet is refined enough to cross many barriers.

The cheapest Nomos (?), the Club Campus is a great alternative for a student 🧑🎓 not wearing my Nomos today, but another budget classic: The Seiko SKX009
The old hydroconquest is a great watch, but I HATE the numbers on the dial, I’m glad that the new generation don’t have those anymore. Hopefully they release the hydroconquest with no gmt function and smaller size for noodle wrists
My favorite watch of 2024 is the Citizen Forza (or "Zenshin" in Europe?) Three-Hands Eco-Drive Super Titanium (blue dial). I love the light weight feel and that I can wear it whenever without having to worry about winding. Very practical for everyday use too with it's day/date display.
I would say that my favorite watch of 2024 is the Tudor GMT with the new Master Chronometer movement. The least expensive METAS certified movement on the market.
I'm looking for my first watch to start my collection, and it feels like choosing the first is the hardest choice. I'm tempted to start with citizen super titanium as seems to be great for the price, at least based on the many many videos i watched

Love that Tudor Royale, my other fave is the hydroconquest (biased cos ive got the earlier version) a great dressy diver. Ok fave watch this year certina ds super1000 stc in turquoise (Again biased cos ive got one) just screams summer with a super cool retro vibe, and im loving it. I love my Longines Hydroconquest green dial, but trying getting the bloody bracelet off!!! That thing's lug bars are almost hidden and even WoS had trouble getting it off!

Being Swedish I’d have to say the Omega Aquaterra Armand “Mondo” Duplantis Special Edition is my favourite watch of the year.
Fun list. Feel like most of these are a bit out of reach for students. The Seiko price point is good though.

I like the Wise ADX with 18K gold bezel and crown. I also like the Seiko Alpinist 'Save the Forest' edition.
