What's your favourite Kris Kristofferson song?
For the Good Times. The Pilgrim, Chapter 33. Too many to name...
Sunday morning comin’ down
Casey’s Last Ride. Cheers 🍻
sunday morning coming down his own version
Help me make it through the nite ...I love love that song .....my favorite 😍
Kris kristofferson is one of the greatest songwriters ever. Love the tone of his voice and his southern drawl when he talks 👍🏻 Many people don't know he use to be a talented boxer in his youth and a helicopter pilot before becoming famous 💪🏻
Refreshing to have the audience just listen. No whooping and clapping when he said he was clean for our years. Like today,
Seeing today's interview subject brought a tremendous smile to my face. I couldn't wait to watch. A personal hero and inspiration to me, forever a part of my childhood memories thanks to parents with impeccable music tastes that included all of Kris Kristofferson's music. I wish the man would write an autobiography because no matter how much I learn about him, it never seems complete.
Great how he's so honest and doesn't regret anything
Love Kris kristofferson! my favorite for over 50years.
Great interview. Please upload the entirety of it!
Kris is smooth and intriguing. I’m of a younger generation but, I can appreciate great talent when I hear it.
Wonderful. I’d love to hear more of his recovery story. Seems a lot of wisdom
They both are still alive.
Someone should put them together (perhaps via a zoom meeting) and start a nice conversation like this.
Great GREAT idea! Both such articulate, direct, kind and interesting speakers.I could listen to them speak all day. If only!
HEAR , HEAR ! Yep really a great idea and I would love to see these two together again
Kris is suffering badly with Alzheimer’s, so I don’t know - sadly - if that’s a good idea.
One of the coolest guys around, I grew up thinking he was a cool actor from the Convoy movie, them though being a fan of Elvis, found out he wrote songs and performed, midblown..... He may be off the booze there but still loves the weed at that point looks like
Great clip. Just wanted to say though, the volume on some these is particularly low, could really use a boost.
This was great! As always!
Gosh truly brilliant man love him
When I saw the lines forming I was about to whack my phone, then I came to my senses… the nostalgia is real 😂
Besides the Rhodes scholarship and subsequent great career, people forget he was also a great Athlete...Pomona College I think. He was in the "Faces in the Crowd" feature in Sports Illustrated. I mean, the talent! And he did what he believed - went to Nashville to make it in music.
I swear Kris Kristofferson could be Steve Gaines twin brother , uncanny really , the older I get the more I like him
Great interview, but I wish you had normalised the audio.
I'm sure they will go back and normalize the audio solely due to your comment. Just watch and appreciate that they even posted it in the first place.
I was 14 in 1980 wow time flies I'm 55 now Lord I've been smoking pot since 1976 damn I was a Minnie HIPPIE
Great interview of what I saw of it but vid and audio probs were too much. 🙁
Dick Cavett: "pick me up", "now try to pick me up."
Find it and play it please.
The many lives of KK. 😀
KK's songs are very well written, and when performed well (e.g., by Willie Nelson), they are nearly transcendental.
can't hear it
Heaven's Gate-the film he refers to as having done in Montana-played much better in Europe. It had problems finding it's audience in the United States. It's more of an european type western. I also liked A Star Is Born a lot. Both of Kristofferson's classic films panned by critics.
Is this channel ever going to show Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason and/or Art Carney? I don’t have the Decades channel.
Sound during the promo was superb , but during the actual except, very poor. The promo showed sound could be improved - why didn’t
you bother to improve it for the actual excerpt of the interview?
have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like these.
Way too quiet
the sound?
He didn't mention Janis???
He mentions Janis a bunch elsewhere. See his interview on Rick Beato's channel.
He did mention her in this exact interview, it’s in another clip.
@@acchaladka thank you ❤✌🏼
Forget it. Can't hear it!
Please hire a decent sound person. Volume of interview was extremely faint, then outtro suddenly blasts out the speakers.
Volumne🤔
Well now ok
John Lennon has 1 week to live.
Wow , that is creepy .
I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when they announced and interrupted the football game that John Lennon had been shot .
Seems like it was more like 15 years ago rather than almost 41 . Wow .
