What a disappointing display
I learned about this game from the developer’s TikTok, and I got even more interested when I found out that they got Michael Kovach and Edward Bosco as VAs

gonna say, loved doing the one hit mode but it was difficult

I hope this game takes lessons from No Straight Roads, because as of this demo, Fantoccio doesn't feel like much of a fight. Dodging is interesting, but I'd want to be able to beat him up more. NSR also used rhythmic attacks, but you could ALSO fight and dodge to the music and when you did *really* well, the boss' EDM songs would become rock renditions because you're in a rock band. Soooo... Maybe have Billie interrupt and sing their own verses when they're getting a combo in so that the song doesn't outlast Fantoccio's health?

Mhm. They mentioned in a reply to someone on a video that they are hoping for it to be cuphead difficulty, but don’t want that to be the only option given normal mode seems to be decently easy and checkpoints/fruits are an option in accessibility at least in some fights like barnabys to adjust it for those who don’t want the challenge.
