This Barnaby guy is like an interdimentional being and can go to diferente realitys, which explains the welcome home and hat in time paintings

Barnaby is a ghost owl who owns this mansion and uses it for party’s with other ghosts. He can also travel into different dimensions which explains the paintings.😊
As a choir singer I really appreciated Mikes beautiful singing voice
And as a person who likes when people enjoy their roles, I love the fact you can hear how much fun he is having with this one

I love how the devs say this is a chace sequence and not a boss fight and EVERYONE is calling this a boss fight.

To be fair it kinda feels like a Mario boss fight? The one I’m thinking specifically is the one from Mario party Ds with Kemek. Anyone else get that vibe? lol

As someone who was raised loving musicals (and not just Disney) and who got into video games seriously college onward, this is such a promising game to me. I can see this as a rhythm game, great storytelling, and so much more. I would be the kind of person to replay a boss battle just to hear the song again even if I own the soundtrack. It's really nice to see something somewhat familiar in play style but so thinking outside the box in concept.

If you want a game similar to this gameplay style, I would LOVE to see a No Straight Roads series on your channel. The game is some platforming combat sections leading to a boss that sends their attacks to the beat of the music (which the music is absolutely amazing). One of the bosses, DJ Subatomic Supernova, their voice actor is going to voice a character in Billie Bust Up and is how I found out about the game in the first place.

Man, any great indie projects are truly extraordinary. Also, the Welcome Home crossover, is something what I didn't expect from our main boss, Barnaby, to meet out of all universal meetups from those picture frames in his manor. (Despite how I haven't gotten into the ARG yet :sad:)

Welcome home is technically more of a horror project than an ARG but- from what I’ve seen, it’s pretty good❤

Barnaby is an owl,he died and has trauma, i learned this from watching the shorts in their channel. Also he doesn't know dieing/killing is bad. For him it is good to die.. He does not understand why it is bad. There is actually a youtube short in their channel and he was crying.. The short was called something like "I cry but I don't know why.." soo he cries but doesn't know why he does cry.. It is probably the trauma he got when he was still alive..
It really makes me sad when people don’t want to join the welcome home fandom because people are being stupid. Clown really doesn’t deserve this. They worked so hard just for people to ruin it.

So for the painting room in Barnaby's manor the character you where pointing out (Wally) is not from the same creators its just a little Easter egg there are more in that room like the snatcher from a hat in time all the painting are just Easter eggs but Barnaby can do wired power stuff as you see in the cutscene so its safe to assume Barnaby has visited them :]

Okay. So when you looked at the paintings. The little yellow and blue guy is named Wally and is from Welcome Home. I heard from somewhere that Clown who is the creator of Welcome Home and the creator of Billie Bust Up are actually friends. So that's why Wally and Barnaby are together
Also Barnaby is dead and is actually an owl. That's why his laugh sounds like that
