The Heron project is so cool. Julie is also a pleasant person to listen to.Photographing these amazing birds in Amsterdam is really a dream. I was in Amsterdam for a week this year and didn't see a single one. :( It would be great to have more OTSW episodes again.
Osu! Otsukare. Metcha kireii na. Fuinki ga kampeki. Ningen to doubutsu to shiashin - soguku atattakai fuinki. Daisuki. Have been watching a lot of your videos recently and really enjoying. I have a close connection to Kansai and Europe. And have been taking pix since moving to Wakayama-ken in 1997. And then moving again. Very glad to have found your work. And your love of the GRIII. Nebarenuke!!!
My two favourite people in my favourite city. This one was well worth the wait. I'm excited about the extended version coming soon. Julie is one of my favourite photographers.
thank you Julie and thank you Samuel for the effort and sharing. i am an appreciative subscriber. i always learn something with each otsw YT vid you post. thumbs up.
I didn't know I would learn so much about herons from a street photographer on a street photography RUclips-channel. Anyways, nice to see OTSW making a return 👏
That makes you a true OG! Hehe. I didn't want to tease the next episode because the order of episodes might change with the next one. But I have two episodes that I am working on at the moment (I might have to reshoot one though...).
Hi Samuel, I remember watching one of your videos where you talked about the difficulties of street photography in Germany, and you showed some examples where people got upset with the photographer. I’m asking for a friend who wants to do street photography of people in Germany. I’m writing this under your latest video because I wasn’t sure where else to ask. Could you please let me know which video that was? Thanks in advance!
@@daveincork Yes, possibly. I remember them discussing why Siegfried Hansen rarely photographs people’s faces. I’ll try rewatching both interviews with Siegfried Hansen. Thanks for the tip!
Sorry for the late answer but I think you mean the video where I introduce my friend Bello to my channel audience. The video is called "Insane Beginner Talent - Introducing Street Photographer Bello".

I missed that format so much !
Oh, wow! OTSW!!!🎉 love it
Lovely conversation! What a pleasant way to spend a day! And yes, the colors are so delightful! No black and white there!

I am interrupting my watching to say - That is one loooong building at the 7 minute mark.
Love to see a photographer from Czechia here. Her work is stunning.

@@SamuelStreetlife oh shit! 2 episodes? I wonder who the photographers are 🤔

WOW, she's beautiful!
Very nice meeting with Julie!
Was this a new meeting? Or was this a meeting at May last year?
Hey Joost! Thanks for the comment. Yes, that was right after our GR Amsterdam Meetup :-) I just took a long time finishing this video hehe.
Great stuff. Very odd to see Herons in a street setting.
Samuel countryside life is back in the house.
Fuji XT-4 did not expect that though could not figure out the lens she is using, 35 f1/4?
On the X-T4 she mentioned it was the 23mm (f2)
And she just recently upgraded from a X-T1. She shot her Chasing Amsterdam Project with the X-T1. She mostly used a 27mm 2.8.
👍❤️👍
Welche Tasche hast du da für die GR?
I bet her favorite movie is „Basic Instinct“ because of Heron Stone.
I think she needs to admit she has a heron addiction…. Fantastic work! 👏
NO WAY
Was missing the series pretty bad.
What the hell is going on around her right hand on the 1:35 - 1:40? What kind of magic is it?
that is the stitch line of the 360 camera :)
@@SamuelStreetlife Nah, it was AI, we know you don't leave your German countryside anymore 😂
you didn’t even negotiate the trade
Get eaten by lions is not something I expected to hear from Netherlands 😂
This is in the Netherlands...
@@BenvonMomenteDeinerGeschichte
The concept still works 😅 Let’s say Europe since I didn’t hear that part. But I corrected my mistake.
glad to have this series back. better than walkie talkie!!
