⭐⭐Melt and pour coffee soap⭐⭐
❤ What you need:
Melt and pour - goats milk soap base or any soap base of your choice 400g
½ cup of used coffee ground (make sure to air dry overnight so your soaps won’t get mouldy)
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon coffee extract (optional)
5-10 drops of essential oil of your choice
(I used cinnamon )
Soap moulds
❤ Method:
Melt soap base either by microwave or pan on low heat
Add coffee and the rest of the ingredients
Slowly stir continuously until you are ready to pour into the moulds
Pour and let the soap solidify. I normally leave it overnight :)
*after use, place it on a soap dish with drains to keep it dry and mould free. :)

⭐⭐Coffee body scrub⭐⭐
❤ What you need:
1 cup of used coffee grounds
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup of coconut oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Choice of essential oil
Clip top jar (500ml)
❤ Method:
Just mix them all together! That easy!
I used coffee pucks from our espresso machine. The grind size is medium to fine so it’s more gentle to the skin. I find bigger grind size can be too abrasive.
You can add more coffee or oil depending on how moist or dry you want your scrub to be :)
I DO NOT use this scrub for my face.

heyyy amazing video! Can we maybe dry the coffee grounds in a microwave to get rid of the moisture and deal with the preservation problem by completely disinfecting it if we want to produce a similar scrub to sell?

Do you have to add the coffee essential oil?
Not really, you can do without. The essential oil can add to the fragrance though :) xx
Do u need preservative for this soap because what is the shelf life by using used coffee ground. Won't it be spoilt??
Hi! I didn’t put any preservatives, so the shelf life may vary, I guess. I won’t keep them for more than a month at most :)

I use essential oils from neal’s yard :) cinnamon in both recipes :) xx
How long can the coffee scrub be stored?
As long as it is not exposed to excessive water during showering and is stored in a tightly sealed container, it should be fine for 3 weeks. 🙂
