PJ what an excellent video the guys from Asda were some of the best I’ve seen on your videos for sometime as they were very accommodating and respectful to you and had no issues with you flying a drone over their sites.
Well done to the people from ASDA. Friendly, helpful, polite and great ambassadors for the company. This is how staff sholud deal with the public, I hope they are put forward for a compliment from their big bosses.
We long for the days when everyone is welcoming like these guys, but then your videos won't be as popular because we like to see a bit of entertainment lol.
Asda deserves 👏 a pat on the back with the way they handled PJ audits and how they used perfect people skills in communication absolutely very polite 👏 WELL DONE ASDA !
I won't lie, this video almost made me tear up. lol I vision of the future, where people don't completely freak out when a member of the public shows an interest, wants to take photos / footage, or wants to fly a drone over (within the rules/laws). I can't really fault any of the workers in the vid. Only minor thing was the guy near the end, who was warning you about looking out for traffic etc., but I can't really criticize that too much. Every now-and-then, you get a vid like this, and it proves that the whole auditing thing is working. More and more people are starting to become aware of their rights with public photography, drones, and all sorts. So many people *still* think they need to sign a waiver or something, before you are allowed to film them in a public place. lol
Nearly all these sites are subject to a BRC audit, which covers TACCP and VACCP which basically covers the threats to the business and their vulnerabilities to supply product of the correct standard. Part of which is known as "stranger danger" hence getting challenged. Sad but true. A sign of the times we live in I'm afraid. Just one of a multiple of reasons why product are so expensive in the Uk.
nice one PJ at least the staff were ok about the drone and didnt go round making laws up.Ive been into that asda depot delivering when it first opened but i think you missed a trick in not filming next door at betty britains former crown couriers who when i went in there a few times delivering junk mail cages were right jobsworths and stipplers for rules etc
A few of them have. PJ tells them to contact him if they’re unsure after they see shots but a few have asked at the time of filming. A few wanted film of their roofs for maintenance.
Overall a very good video. Only thing that spoiled it was the teaching PJ to suck eggs when they mention being concerned about his safety when they have no legal responsibility for it. The other point is the sticking to not being on their property, even with one foot one foot on their property when flying the drone when the take off/landing doesn't make any difference to the content the drone records when flying. A sub-250g drone doesn't require an airfield or a safety zone like massive ones, so if it can take off from a pavement, it can take off from any patch of land where it is safe to do so.
They were brilliant talking to you engaging in a friendly manner why cant more sites be like that I think it all comes from the top downwards 10 out of 10 for ASDA
Not seen the hole video yet but that driver will probably get pulled in the office we sign that we don't take to Media I'm really glad you doing this so let's get down and watch for the next this video
Hiya PJ Super cool video job good job, so please keep them coming GL&HF coming from Dulwich London England...also ide like to big up the utube site that the asda worker mentioned as it's a really cool channel its about real life crimes its called Mr Ballen and he tells such a good story just 1 watch of his vids & u will definitely be hooked on to his channel(✌ peace✌)
I’ve been watching your videos you run into a lot of Dim Witt’s I have never had anyone come up to me and have a sook..My air 2s crashed into a backyard the guy was a federal cop he and his wife helped me look for it and I got it back
Worked for Asda for over 12 years we would call is another shifty day ahead staff are okay but the manager in store are shity I took them to court last year and won
To my mind it's a shame that Associated Daries (A S D A ) were bought out out by some blurry yanks. But, But they had the resources ($$$) to develop the business and give some competition to S'bys and T'sco. Gome of their products are not of the best quality - but good enough. Ho Hum!
Hi the truck not go far mate we have drivers come to Argos from rochdale Asda to work for us they said only go local they have Wakefield Rochdale Warrington
This ASDA be one of the best audits you've done, these guys were brilliant, well done to them all.
Restores some faith in humanity, seeing such a nice friendly lot of ASDA employees.

ASDA must be alright if the workers are happy. Well done PJ and all. Oh and Dread Drone😁😎
They used to be very employee focussed when part of the Walmart group....don't know if it's the same now though.
PJ, you speak my language, your upfront, truthfully, and most importantly, a nice guy. I'm glad to meet you.
We long for the days when everyone is welcoming like these guys, but then your videos won't be as popular because we like to see a bit of entertainment lol.

Well done Asda. That was positive reaction by most of the guys.
Great response and attitude from the ASDA employees, the company is lucky to have professional people working for them that gives ASDA great PR.
I won't lie, this video almost made me tear up. lol

Never heard anyone laugh at themselves as much
Very good exercise, walkin about them huge buildings! I think I have been encouraged to get a starter drone!
An example of how to make the public feel good about your company.
Well that went better than what I thought
unsung hero of the working class
Second shunter didn’t have his electrical cable in and he was going on to the public road. But naughty that.

Full marks to the staff at Mazda
Suprised no one ever asks you to send them the footage so they can use it for the locations (when they are on good terms !)
A few of them have. PJ tells them to contact him if they’re unsure after they see shots but a few have asked at the time of filming. A few wanted film of their roofs for maintenance.

Best you stay behind the camera looking like that !!
In memories with colleagues that are no longer with us could mean the ones which just left the company haha
What a great lot they are at Asda
Asda boss looks like something from Captain Scarlet/Thunderbirds
Pete you should go back to the glass works at knottingley and put the drone up they will go nuts ha ha
pj i have had trouble with Seagulls the crows dont seem to bother if you get trouble just put it up further in the air birds cant go straight up
a bird pooped on my drone while in mid air, dunno what type of bird it was though. pinpoint accuracy!
Try S.E.D Services in Wigan or formby guaranteed brilliant content 🤣🤣
Hey up PJ is that the one down foxbridge way.
"Have you got permission to fly the drone over?"
"Drone, can I have your permission to fly you over?"
"Yes"
"Ok thanks"

Asda will get their big brother Wallmart to come and beat you up PJ!!
Keep it up bud x
Another great video. Just out of interest, do the truck drivers load and unload the trailers or just drive and deliver?
Drive, unload stock and then reload with waste/empties ect
Not seen the hole video yet but that driver will probably get pulled in the office we sign that we don't take to Media I'm really glad you doing this so let's get down and watch for the next this video
