I had the police at my door the other day for flying my Mini 3 over the village, I had them tied in knots within minutes as they didn't know any drone laws. I've always known the drone laws inside out, but watching this channel is the only reason I had the confidence to put them across. This channel is a great help to all photographers and drone pilots...............keep it up DJ 💪

The managers faces are always the same when they realise company doesn't apply to non-employees who are not on company property. The utter disbelief someone wouldn't just follow their orders.
Best auditor by a country mile. Genuinely interested in the site operations and not there just to wind people up. I cannot believe how many companies behave like they are Area 51 or something. They process food for Christ sake 🤣

@Ben Smith ‘patronisingly’ is quite a subjective term but I’m pleased he doesn’t swear at them or be outright rude when discussing points. If English was not yet heir first language and they’re talking face to face with DJ Audits, they might not even pick up on any of the ‘patronising comments.’ Therefore you could argue it is just opinion and subjective to say he is patronising. It’s all about how you interpret it.
Another great audit DJ. What marks you apart from many other auditors is that you know the law and your rights and responsibilities . You are calm , polite and professional and only raise your voice when threatened and only step things up a gear when you need to correct people and assert your authority when they basically try it on when they dont know the law and hope that you will back down .
DJ, you need to keep getting them to identify themselves. They may be coming from inside the site but they could be a cleaner for all you know. It also puts them on the back foot as they have to actually justify their actions.
This video is gold dust for the company to highlight health safety issues and to address them. Such as that trailer parked in the entrance, trailer parked in the yellow chevrons getting loaded by the forklift, various vehicles, plant and trailers parked on the 'no parking' chevrons. Was the automatic gate on the exit working? If not a clear breach of the security for the site. It also highlights the potential to become a greener company by installing solar panels on the roof. The videos are also educational to us viewers, currently looking into enrolling on a nebosh health and safety course. Keep up the good work 👍

Loved this DJ. I work in a chicken factory those green tubs are stacked 1 inside another then the 3rd 1 is upside down for easy storage and movement. The soft top trailers are for when these factories "tip" the waste product, feathers etc, then take off to that other factory you been to in the past SARVAL, SARVAL are a waste (cat 3 waste - not for human consumption) business. They probably thought you might be animal rights lol

It still amazes me that for how long people have been auditing places now and how fast stuff spreads on the internet that these company's and its "Yes man" employees still don't get the basics of you ARE allowed to film in public and what you can see from outside or publicly accessible areas!!,The manager seemed okay though to be fair, and how nice was that that Shunter guy Ben, What a legend. :)
I'm in NZ, I don't do audits but I do fly my drone around heaps now, and it must be a difference in mentality, I have more people wanting me to go over their property than not go over. I was at the Seaview Marina in Lower Hutt, Wellington, and had 2 different guys ask If I could do a quick fly over their business and get some aerial shots. I don't know about the rules for commercial flying so I never charge anything and the govt websites full of mushy rules that are not really clear, like don't fly over houses or farms or parks or suburbs unless you ask (and who should I ask since they don't own the airspace but myself lol)

Well done another action packed audit. The point you make on the gutters is very relevant. When it overflows and floods the building the company will put in an insurance claim. Insurance should the ask the question when was your gutters last maintained?? Managers don't like spending money on maintenance and architects overlook the design and cleaning of buildings. Cheers

Why people suddenly throw their hands up to cameras after already having been filmed for some time will forever mystify me. Also the way changes in ground coverings are confidently viewed as guaranteed definitions of boundaries - absolutely bonkers. And beardie Operations Man at the end has just the sort of doom laden look which Ingmar Bergman would have loved. Thanks for more great and very funny work DJ.
Just subbed.. as a photographer I know full well how much hassle uninformed people can be… I also fly drones and have the same issue even when flying with my son…. People are quite rude and very opinionated about things they know very little about…. Good pick up on air lines by the way… also the fact that that trailer should really be moved as the intended purpose of that entrance is inhibited.
At the end, the manager on the phone to the company law firm. "Sorry, legally he can fly a drone over your premises, and there's nothing you can do about it. By-the-way that's £250 for my time giving you this info, good bye".
Love these audits. What always surprises me is how these individuals believe; 1. Their Policies apply to the whole world. 2. That they themselves are anything other than a replaceable member of staff on a minimum wage.

As someone who used to work in property management believe me those blocked gutters are a very costly damage to come ie flash flooding it will overcome The Whole guttering system with substantial damage

Yes, it's hilarious I agree, but unfortunately in some countries it really IS the case that you need permission, and they perhaps imagine that German law applies in the UK, for example.
