    I just received mine in the mail and boy they've taken these videos into consideration. There's now 6 screws on both the top and bottom. Some videos showed some flex in the board that isn't there. This keyboard is great so far. Great video.

    Why not do a sound test? Most people are interested in knowing what it sounds like. You covered everything in detail except for just typing on it.

      Noted. Another keyboard review coming up and I’ll be sure to include a sound test.

    Looks like a good low profile mech keyboard option for sure! Great review overall - I'm no expert when it comes to keyboard reviews (only built and reviewed one custom keyboard haha) but it seems like every review video these days comes with a dedicated typing sound test section which might be good to include in future reviews

    Nice review. You mentioned no customization (QMK) but can you assign hotkeys in MacOS?

    • @BrandonKBoswell
      @BrandonKBoswell  5 месяцев назад

      This is true. If you want QMK, check out the Nuphy V2, which didn’t exist when I made this video.

    I wonder if you could replace the keycaps with some shine through ones the help the lighting.

    I'm curious to see what your take of the Wooting 60HE would be. I've loved it since getting it, and the software layer maps work between devices since it is all onboard memory.

      The switch tech looks really interesting. Does it support QMK?

    Can such remaking be done?

      On device no, but with something like Karabiner Elements then yes.

    can you please describe how autosleep mode works on this keyboard? Is it ok if I leave it enabled after working day?

    • @HateTheBearsFTWbcYOLO
      @HateTheBearsFTWbcYOLO 6 месяцев назад

      It seems like if it's plugged in you wake it up but pressing something just like waking up your PC from sleep

    But why did they put Alt besides ctrl under PC mode? Its kinda dumb tho becuz normal PC keyboard has win beside ctrl.

    • @BrandonKBoswell

      It’s not very obvious but you can switch this keyboard between Mac and PC mode with a keyboard shortcut

    @BrandonKBoswell Is there any input delay using the keyboard in wired mode, or is the key inputs instant?

    • @BrandonKBoswell
      @BrandonKBoswell  7 месяцев назад

      Works well in wired mode. (i’m pretty sensitive to latency)

      @albatross580 yes! There's 6 screws on mine and from what I understand the aluminum is a little thicker because there's 0 flex in the metal

    Hey Brandon, how often do you charge your keyboard? I'm thinking about moving away from Apple's Magic Keyboard (which lasts months on a single charge) but I couldn't find any reliable info on the actual battery life of these mechanical keyboards.
