  • How to hand cut a Windshield Visor Strip on a older body style Chevy Silverado pickup truck. I always install my Visors in 05% limo black to keep the sun out of the customers sight. Some call these Visors, Eyebrows, Banners, Sun Strips, Glare Strip and other things I can't remember at the time. I call them Visors. They do help to keep the sun out of your eyes and here in Wisconsin they are a pretty popular tint for windshields.

      I’ve done so many trucks and I’ve never had an issue from a few drips and spray. Jeep or high end cars are more sensitive and get covered or when doing a full windshield.
      When you do something for a while you get to know what you can and can not do.
      I also don’t cover door panels and it’s no difference then opening up a door in the rain.

    New to window tinting; How do you get your curved cut perfect? So that the left right side of the centerline is mirrored. I tried cutting a practice once and it didn’t look so hot.

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  5 лет назад +2

      Honestly I'm not exactly sure on what you are referring to?? I always use the Factory edge of the roll for the line across the bottom that you see going across the windshield. That will/should always be straight. The top and left-right side cuts don't have to be perfect since that gets hidden behind the seals.

    • @808chileboys

      If you enjoy that arch do it that way. There are other ways to cut it so it’s a straight line across leveled with the horizon

      @@808chileboys oh yeah I do my research as well. Most of my customers never question the line they just want it to be a certain height not to block their vision. Since I hand cut I let them pick where they want it to go. Thank you for watching and commenting. More videos on the way.

      A lot of pros don't want to train because they feel that will take away from their profits. So some of us just take our time and figure it out.
