Worked for mine! I was holding back on wedging a screwdriver in between, out of fear I was glued in place. Watched this video and bam, it's fixed now 🙂
Just used this to fix our light and saved at least $200 in a service appointment. I never would have been able to get the housing off without seeing it done. My screwdriver was starting to crack the surrounding plastic, but once I put a rag around it I was able to muscle it off without damage. Thank you for posting this!
Great video! Easy and saved me some $$$! I was able to reuse the plastic rings that hold the boards in place. Probably not as tight as originally installed but still snapped back in to place.
They want to sell us the Whirlpool Refrigerators at such a steep price and what do they do build so cheap the fridge breaks down part after part over time. Last time i ever buy one of these very expensive pieces of crap. Thanks for the video and amazon link saved me weeks and possibly months of figuring this our and finding the parts. Now if i can do this with the rest of my fridge that has "issues'
Hey good stuff! Have exact same unit. Can I ask what your drawer lights problem was? Mine is flickering a ton (both lights are). I know they're wired in series, so likely just one of the lights is bad. (My top main light is still fine). What was your issue causing replacement? Thanks for the vid!
My drawers lights were very dim. If one in the chain is going out they all go dim. I replaced both drawer lights to be sure I got the right one. I linked the replacements in the description. Hope this helps.
@@DomesticDad20 Ah got it. My drawer lights (both) have been flickering in unison like a dance club strobe light. Since they're both flickering at exactly the same rate/frequency I believe one of them has failed causing both to be impacted. We'll see what happens. Thanks again for the videos!

Happy to help! Doing it without seeing it is a little nerve racking, especially prying that piece out.
I love you, I have this same one and I had no idea. Thanks for your help, the best video.
Glad I could help!
Thank you! I’m going to give this a shot.
You got it👍🏻
