Great video, thanks for the links to replacement part as well. My only problem is that the light is in the back, right below the ice maker and it's turned sideways compared to your video so there's almost no way to get leverage to "push" it to the left to get it loose. There is no way to do the bear grip on it with it turned that way. Any suggestions would be appreciated so I can see what's in my freezer without having to guess what food I am pulling out for dinner.
@ yes. I had to use a small rubber mallet and awkwardly bang it out. When I plugged in the new one I did not lock it back in place so I won’t have to do that again.
This video was super helpful but I don't know how your light popped out so easily. Mine was almost impossible to get out and I contemplated just living without a freezer light at least 10 times 😂
I used a plastic putty knife and even with that it was difficult to get it to release. I seriously thought I was going to break it. But it's fixed now. It was definitely way easier to pop in than out.
