One easy way to do the third Seti com defense is to grab a rewind grenade to use that will refill your PAP pistol ammo when you run out.
Thank you! 5 years on and no one talk about how tight the ammo eco is on the last challenge. Unless I can get a random explosive secondary it seems almost impossible solo at times
Here's the strat kill ALL zombies round 1 by shooting 7 times in foot and knife with starting pistol, and rebuild all barriers, round 2 kill all zombies by shooting them in the chest 5 times and knife, when you have no ammo just double knife, rebuild barriers before you end round, if you have 3000 points good buy starting door, journey door and arcade door, turn on power and play games til you have 500 tickets. If you were on round three and still don't have 3000 that's fine, kill zombies until you do, then with the 500 tickets, buy the forge freeze and do the forge freeze strategy (look it up if you don't know) until you have around 16000-17000 and go buy all main doors and m1, then unlock pap and pap your m1. Play more games to get an arcane code on your m1. Go get all seti com parts and build seti com. End round 3. Round 4 you will have the seti com and a paped gun. Go buy a rewind for 25 tickets and get your ammo back and do the forge freeze strat again, again 16000-17000. And go buy all of your perks and do all the wonder weapon crap. Again go to arcade and play until 300 tickets and buy gold teeth, activate seti com and fail. Take the brute you get from failing and open up the alligator mouth and place gold teeth. Pap your starting pistol and grab bombstoppers, go do the first seti com, once it's done end the round. Round 5 or 6 (whatever one depending on clown round) do the 2nd seti com at the beginning of the round without killing any of the non seti com zombies. After that go to chromosphere and use that to get the spaceship done and ready to be charged. (Forgot to mention unleash the spaceships) Round 7 do the last seti com and finish your fire element, get the shredder (if you have the other parts), and give the parts to dj hoff, and end the round. Round 8 do the trap but with the laser trap in polar peak for wind. If it doesnt end the round with the remaining zombies use them to charge the spaceship. Round 9 will come and you can finish the spaceship. You'll have the shredder and the paped m1 with wind (which has the capability of getting 2 kills with 1 bullet every time until round 15) and you can start the boss fight on round 9.
One thing to note is you will end up trading your paped starting pistol in for the shredder
Recommended perks, tuff nuff, quickies, bang bangs, bombstoppers (once your done the 3rd seti com trade it in for racing stripes) and up an atone
Recommended cards: on the money (for forge freeze) best for last (use for boss fight) head reloaded (use for boss fight) 5 second muscle (use for boss fight) get packed (use for m1 and it saves you 4500$)

By the way, if you plan on updating your bossfight tips and trick video, my trick is to do the first N31L challenges early in the game, but I do not call The Hoff. Then, on the bossfight Alien part, if you go down once, call in The Hoff as you go get your Up n' Atoms and your weapons back. Once The Hoff is in, just go all in on the boss. Die as many times as you want, The Hoff will revive you. You have basically 3 minutes to spray your WW as much as you want. The Up n' Atom is just for safe mesures in case you die before the Hoff comes in. Once the alien is dead, now go get your 3rd Up n' Atoms total and complete the EE.

I know this video is a month old but, when you get the seti com pieces you DO NOT have to give them to the DJ, if you have all 4 portals linked and the seti com just end the round and the next round you will be able to get the Seti com

Have you tried this strategy in a game with more than one person, like a custom game or multiplayer mode? Seems like it should work the same.
Thanks Jon! Yup works quite well, but I will say the M1 Pap'd with the wind or Yellow core will be far better strategy than this one alone. You can still use the traps i mentioned but the m1 will put the kendals to shame. You don’t have to turn in the seti-com pieces to Hoff. You just have to release the aliens from PaP

I can not even defend the second seti com, because everytime the first or the second location is the crocodile and there come so much Zombies. It looks so easy in your Video.

That boss fight co-op man is hard so congrats on that! I've only done it 2 player. Got really close 4 player but when everyone goes down and you have 4 aliens and all the zombies after you it is pretty much game over.

How I Do The Seti Com Defense:
Take The Pap Pistol and Pap M1.
Use the Arcane in M1 and take the Yellow "Spirit"(I call it spirit) for take the Head cutter.Just Get speed cola and double tap and spam shoots in the ground for 120 seconds and if u want use eagle eyed card. GG easy

I usually do the first one with the packed Kendal then use the hoff on the second and/or third with the medusa device and black hole gun on the third

2. Max Ammo 🔫
3. Infinite Ammo/Restored Losses 🔫
4. Second Wind (Protection during Boss Fight) 🛡👾
5. Perk Insured (Extra Protection during Boss Fight, lol) 🛡👽
Also, for suggestions, can you turn your audio up a tad bit more in future vids?
(RUclips makes it sound kinda low even on max volume for some reason.)

I'm looking through them right now and I gotta be honest there really arent too many that would benefit you in either the boss fight or the seti other than a few you already got going.
The Restored Losses is defiantly the best one for the 3rd seti defense if you can hold off on activating it until about 30 seconds in, that stacked with 5 second muscle and best for last would actually be pretty strong with the packed starting pistol. As far as Second Wind id drop it as you want to keep the zombies in check during the boss fight since its a never-ending round. Keeping them from re spawning and behind you in train helps a ton. That is just at a glance though Id still like to try them out myself to get a better opinion so ill start figuring that out and testing it today!
Cool thanks for the suggestion. I actually started mixing the audio differently with today video that I put up so it should be more balanced out, easier to hear and much cleaner from now on. If you could watch like the first 10 - 15 seconds and see if you think it sounds better I would greatly appreciate it so I can make adjustments to my set numbers! just a suggestion instead of the sentry gun use the boom box as it provides 30 seconds of defense against all zombies and the explosion also delays the zombies a bit as they need to respawn again

An infinte ammo fate card is pretty good too use if you run out of ammo or something
Get past round one (it's easy)
Get a sentry gun or boom box for round 2,
Then buy a rewind, get a sentry gun then use rewind when running out of ammo
And of course use the spawn pistol with phd and make use of grenades.. get it done like this every time
There is no PHD.

Thanks! If your still struggling with the seti defense I made a updated strategy using the M1 that makes it a cake walk. Give that a try and see if it works for you. I dont think CoD would do how to's just because it would take out alot of the community effort and fun of exploration when it comes to easter eggs.

Additional tip: Between rounds 1-4 in zombies if you are to run back and forth from spawn to the bottom of polar peak zombies with backpacks will respawn every other time (so kill only backpack zombies early for coins) ALSO between these rounds waiting 3 mins between zombie kills and killing one WITHOUT a backpack should drop a souvenir coin for early crafting! I'm sure he knows this but in case you need extra help
*only zombies with backpack.. ignore the "for coins"

I don't know if this is a glitch or something, but i tried this Easter egg about 6-7 times in the past week, and every single time the seti com glitches out. Like at that fountain area. It will always be there completed, but I won't be able to pick it up.
I got the max ammo, and no brute spawned it, but I won't be able to pick it up. I let a couple rounds go by to see, and even talked to the Hoff to see if I can get a new one, but no luck. I just restarted and then the same thing happened all over again. It's like a cycle
The fountain has always been kind of glitchy. Make sure you dont set the seti on top of the fountain trap as it tends to glitch out. I normally set it as far from it as possible when I get that location. If it does glitch out a few people have reported that going prone let them pick it back up. Sorry that happens to you I hope they patch it soon.

+solarneddy I mean zombies has always been a bit of a treasure hunt from WW to now if you think about it. Now is definitely more of a quest or objective vs a hidden secret. But either way the EE are never required to play and have fun. Some argue that specific things are locked behind a easter egg, bows/staffs/more perks. Yeah because if they weren't locked the people who do the EE would get little to no reward for completing them. It gives players more reason to challenge themselves, dig deeper, think, communicate, try new things, and engage in conversations to solve puzzles. Thats what I find so fascinating about it.

Si Ive been working on a video that pairs the forge freeze/M1/ and scoped dollars to start the seti steps, 5 perks, and a pack pistol by round 4. It just takes forever. Good strategy though!

Thank you see the linked video here for my M1 strategy. It has been nerfed from the video so its not as powerful as it was at the time of making it but it was a game changer. This doesn't work. I tried it ten times and not once did I have enough money to open all the doors and buy jug by round four. You magically jump up thousands of dollars with two zombies left in this game. Nope.
+Jeremy Barber If your having a issue with earning money and opening all the doors you could also use the forge freeze method to earn alot of money. Id defiantly pick up Mule Munchies to keep all 3 weapons though.

Hey, I noticed you say, "line up your shots." I also noticed that with some headshots you get up to 1200 points! Is there some sort of multiplier or piercing shot bonus you get with the M1 and headshots? What is going on there?
+serferferlife With scoped dollars active a kill grants you a additional $300 + the $100 for a headshot but drains some of the cards meter. If you get collateral kills with a single bullet to the head it still only drains the same amount of card meter as one kill but grants you the bonus $300 for the other kills as well. It helps maximize your card usage if you go just for collateral kills.

Can't you just use the forge freeze?
I mean you can but the overheating would quickly become a issue and the low ammo count. Ive yet to complete the seti defense using just the forge freeze but maybe ill try that for a challenge to see if its do-able.

+Shadow NBC after you complete the seti defense 3 times you should be able to turn it and he should give you the speaker after 1 - 2 rounds. Also clown rounds tend to be a bit buggy try going a 2 rounds then seeing if he gives it to you. Let me know if that works for ya

How did u get so many points with the scoped dollars?
Collateral kills. Use the M1 with hollow points and FMJ it increases headshot damage and FMJ allows more zombies for the bullet to travel through. I believe the max is 6 but thats 6 kills you can get per bullet. Line up your shots and use single bullets to take out multiple zombies to maximize your points with scoped dollars :D
You Get 200 points not 400 points
Ninja 10064 ^^ he's right. You only get 400 if shop class is used during a double cash power up
How long did it take you
Really not too long, hardest thing I've found is getting those pesky gas grenades to spawn from a drop. If you cant get them to spawn in Cryonades are also a good one to run with.

yeah that 3rd seti is a pain. You can go in ready and everything on the low rounds and still get a bad location that spawns zombies in such a chaotic method its nearly impossible. Hopefully they adjust it soon. You shouldn't be required to use the starting pistol to defend the seti.

+Donovan Gustafson you check all the locations? Theres one in front of polar peaks that I have only had once and didn't realize it was a possible location till then. Also you can only do one Seti per round.
One per round for a total of 3. In front of polar peaks, in the basement, by the bumper cars & on the fountain. Are there any other locations?

Hey thanks for your guide. (giving your videos a big thumbs up) I found the spots & died. It's hard without gas grenades. I think I'm going to try it with an infinite ammo fortune card & perfect my strategy in getting the SETI up at lower scenes.

I'm running out off ammo! I use the paped Kendal 44 and the discord. I use the Kabooom, scoped dollars, raining bullets, perks insured and scorching skin. I use sentry turret and kinndle pops and medusa device.
I could try the F&F card that restores your missed bullets!

how do i get the starting pistol back in solo? please help
+mlg Sorry but there is no way you can get your starting pistol back without buying quick revive, bleeding out, coming back from the afterlife arcade. You will have your starting pistol when you come back just make sure you do NOT to pick up your items from the lost & found.
