It's weird people say Voyage of Despair is a hard easter egg its one of the few that I was able to beat on my first play of the map. Granted I had a few power vacuums which really helped with getting points early as well as this amazing guide some guy named Joltz made. I struggled more with IX (that ra challenge where you need to kill specific zombies in a certain order I struggled with my first few attempts) and dead of the night just had too much going on. That being said great list I agree with mostly everything else on the list from my experience.
bro the sceptor step in ancient evil is fucking HARD on solo. plus getting all the hands on solo is pretty tedious at times. for 4p its a cakewalk but for solo its pretty daunting
@PongoThomas9 I wouldn't personally call AE an easy easter egg for a new player. It should be placed somewhere in the middle I would say. Zetsubou being an entire tier above AE doesn't really make any sense.

In my experience I found Voyage much worse to do than Blood, but I haven’t done them since they were solved shortly after launch in 2018 so that definitely contributed to my pain. That game barely ran for the first few weeks.
Tag is an easy quest but it's a tedious one. Nothing about that EE is hard, but jesus it's long. I also think Spaceland belongs at the top of Somewhat Difficult or even Really Difficult, for a new player bad SETI com locations are pretty much a GG, plus the boss fight is something I highly doubt many people can beat on their first try.

I don't think Dead of the Night is that hard honestly. While yes there's a lot of parts to get, the map layout is pretty simple and very easy to remember. Me and my friend managed to open PaP and get almost every part, except for 2 fire cores and maybe 1-2 more parts, we could've even got silver bullets but we didn't know where to craft them, and that's on our very first playthrough with 0 previous experience.
Zebsubo solo waiting for that plane so I could shot it down was horrible especially when I missed luckily I made multiple plants but I would never do it solo again
If we’re talking specifically new players it doesn’t make much sense to include all gobblegums seeing as they aren’t going to have all of those OP gums. Even if you’re new to EE’s but are still an experienced zombies player you’re going to have a significantly easier time on every map, so that’s not a fair comparison we can make either. So we have to assume these are brand spanking new players and let me tell you, I hit prestige 7 before I got one single perkaholic and I’ll remember that rage for my entire life, getting nothing but shite for 7 prestiges. All of that just to say I don’t think it’s fair in this specific list to put so much weight into gobble gums because newbies won’t have 300 undead man walkings to attempt Gorod 40 times in a row. Obviously an exaggeration but you get the point.

For me it's 1) Blood of the Dead, 2) Mephistopheles boss fight. Blood just has tons of ridiculously easy-to-fail steps and the Meph fight (like actually doing the full easter egg, not just fighting him in the boss battle mode) took me SO many resets. Hell even just getting past the double rhinos to get into the fight caused a bunch of failures and I had that fight down to a science.
@ball4714 Blood of the Dead is definitely one. Gorod without Gobblegums or classics only (how I usually play, feels more balanced) is also a pretty hard one for me. The Beast From Beyond took a while because I had to do it solo and the boss fight is a broken mess, so id put it on that list even if the rest of it is very easy, and although easy in theory, getting The Tortured Path ending cutscene is extremely punishing and Ive done the first parts easter egg maybe 80+ times
@@MoochMoment ww2 zombies didn’t even happen in my mind😂 sometimes i forget that cod even exists. i would assume ww2 has some difficult eggs, but i couldn’t be bothered to learn the steps or let alone buy the game and the dlcs for whatever they want me to pay. bfb boss fight is a scary one, (not meph) but the only difficult ee on iw is shaolin shuffle. i would say with no gums or elixirs, all bo4 eggs are much more difficult than anything on bo3 with maybe two exceptions: mangler step(gk) and the flag step(soe). the planet step is definitely the worst ee step to my knowledge, but i’ll take that any day over the powerhouse challenge on blood.

The slander for Carriers Easter egg is insane. The beer bottle isn’t rng, it’s after 2 unique weapons, getting all of the teleporter stuff takes around 8-10 rounds, not 15. The fishing rng criticism is justified. I don’t think it’s difficult, I just think a bunch of the steps are time consuming.

At 11:40 you have a made a mistake this is not the real classfied easter egg. The real easter is getting to round 150 and then the cutscene plays and you get the competition in the main menu. It should be correctly ranked near the top
I feel like you shouldn’t really count GGs or at least the mega ones because I never have those clutch ones like idle eyes for GK I only run classics I get that with those it’ll be really easy but I refuse to pay to win

I will always say that Shang BO1 is the hardest, ive done every ee including non treyarch and Shang still is up there on the non treyarch ees cuz Darkest Shore, Tortured Path, Carrier, Descent are my 4 personal hardest ive ever done, Descent is easier on multi, but solo its a struggle. Darkest Shores boss fight and chain saw step always ruff my feathers. I believe Descent to be harder than Carrier cuz i perfectly understand everything about it Also Voyage is one of my easiest due to it being my baby! Number 7 on my list, and played simce WaW
I agree I don’t think Ancient evil was difficult except the boss fight for me and my friend was super difficult. We both play a lot of games and have done a ton of other EEs including voyage and blood at this point, idk what about it was so hard but we barely survived

The worst easter egg I did was the first outbreak easter egg. Fuck that giant tempest boss, fuck the orbs he spawns that have way too much health and fuck the small area you're stuck in.

The mimic phase in firebase z for me is the shittiest part. Other than that it’s I think the first Easter egg I’ve ever done solo.

I think the Darkest shore ee was very difficult solo. Also, I think the Tourted path solo its so easy to f up and have to start all over again

Tbf Attacks EE in particular is very easy gameplay wise, it’s just a collect o thon and very long winded, and requires lots of memorization.
for me the darkest shore is the hardest because the ww2 Zombie system is worse then bo4 and the boss have a Really powerful Damage against the player
