Rocky Marciano George Foreman Ernie Shavers and Mike Tyson were all more powerful and Ali’s heart and Holyfield’s heart were bigger and more powerful than Frazier
I remember all of them - I met Joe a months after his 1st fight with Ali - he was in Akron Ohio putting on a exhibition so me & my buddy drove from lorain to see him - wow - what a guy - he talked & signed autographs - I got in line 3 times - RIP Smokin' Joe
haNZAgod it's normally hard to narrow stuff down in boxing but Joe Frazier's left hook definitely takes the cake as the greatest left hook of all time. I think he was left handed to but fought orthodox that's why his left hook was so vicious and accurate.
it must be an absolute nightmare to throw all your best jabs, hooks, uppercuts and strongest punches at frazier, and for him to keep coming towards you.
@@raoul3605 nah not really. Sonny Liston was pretty much unbeatable by a pressure fighter. As for George Foreman, I don't think Frazier would have beaten him more than twice had they fought ten times. He was excellent, and I'd love to have seen a bout with Frazier and Larry Holmes. But some fighters just can't be beaten by certain approaches.
My favorite boxer of all time in my opinion and wish I was born earlyr to witness the Frazier and Ali era of boxing, they don't make them the same anymore
Great video, but the hardest left hook I've seen Frazier hit was against Ali, it's the most perfect punch I've seen...Amazingly Ali got up at 8 sec, but that's because Ali had an iron chin...Joe Frazier one of the greatest! And a true gentleman! Love him💕💕
100% what Cus trained tyson on. The lack of Ali being special against Joe. Hardest style to figure out against Ali was a short guy coming forward with sheer power to ribs and head.
In my top 10 of all time. But my favourite boxer ever, he was my favourite because of his heart, courage and determination to keep moving forward even when he seems to have no chance, he’s my idol.
Allow me to add Jerry Quarry and Chuvalo. The 60's was a crazy decade for the Heavyweight division in Boxing. Frazier, Ali, Foreman (altough he started at the end of the decade), Ellis, Bonaventa, Quarry, Chuvalo, Floyd Patterson, Sonny Liston, etc, etc, etc.... To be in the top 10 for 6 months only was enough to one to be called a "CHAMPION". Cheers
It's not even the power of the hook that is impressive, definitely strong as fuck though. It's his volume and work rate and also his accuracy and ability to land those hooks all day. Best left hook ever.
The nightmares for every opponents, were that , they would never knew when the ultimate monstrous left hooks will hit them, until they finally came with devastating effect.
So relentless. Best boxer of all time. Would like to see Frazier vs Rocky balboa. Would be the most brutal fight ever. Both can push to their absolute max. I’m telling you Frazier would have beat Ali if didn’t stop him I know it.
Mike Tyson top 10 Knockouts were - (1) MICHAEL SPINKS , (2) RAZOR RUDDOCK, (3) FRANK BRUNO , (4) ANDREW GOLOTA , (5) PINKLON THOMAS , (6) ALEX STEWART , (7) TREVOR BERBICK , (8) TONY TUBBS , (9) CARL WILLIAMS , (10) LARRY HOLMES .
Jimmy Ellis is the first boxer I've ever seen who looks super cool going down. I mean. THAT era had all SORTS of characters in the heavyweight division. You think you've seen it all, and dude takes a Frazier left hook and looks cooler than Williams in 'Enter the Dragon,' when Williams gets taken out by Han. If you can go down and you look heroic, you're a rare kinda dude. In other words, guy does not take a loss the same way and has his own life, that is not solely a function of a boxing profession. The coolest cats all have this. Jimmy Ellis, being who he was as a fighter, just adds more to that era's mystique for heavyweights. For people, who have watched more than their share of boxing, watching Young go down is a bonafide discovery in the world of boxing expression.
Joe's Left Hook came from another Dimension. If I could pick just one Fight I would Love to See more than Any other, it Would Be Joe Frazier against Mike Tyson , both at Their Best. One Things for Certain It wouldn't be a repeat of Tyson v Marvis Frazier. My Money would be on Smoking Joe 😊😊
Absolutely love your videos, boxing is like really sweet, well made food and you give it tasty spice. You got really talent and know how to make boxing emotional, I wish all boxing legends could watch your videos, they would be really proud and you would make many of them cry. Thank you. By the way, Sugar Ray and Jack Dempsey videos, keep them coming friend, my favorites. Holla
Terrific Frazier highlights, nicely arranged on this video. // Do you have an updated link to the song please? YT says the "video does not exist". Thanks in advance.
He reminds me of mike tyson ... he bobs and weaves goes down low and you better hope he doesnt come back up with that left hook cause your gonna feel it 🥊
Frazier had as much heart as any fighter who ever lived. He was willing to take a lot of punishment in order to get in position to unload that left hook. You really saw this in the first Ali fight. It’s like Frazier didn’t know how to take a step backwards in the boxing ring. I always wondered if he had been 3 or 4 inches taller if anyone could have beaten him. As it was, Frazier was often fighting men (Ali, Foreman) who were much taller than he was. I recently read a biography about Frazier. What an incredible life he lived.
The only thing that was even powerful than his left hook was his heart
I find his heart and will power his greatest attributes as well.
For real dude imagine getting up after being knocked down by George 7 times
Rocky Marciano George Foreman Ernie Shavers and Mike Tyson were all more powerful and Ali’s heart and Holyfield’s heart were bigger and more powerful than Frazier
This shit puts tears in your eyes if you are a boxing fan.

Best left hook of all time in my opinion!
Without a doubt! I also think tommy Morrison had one hell of a left hook as well..

Dat Boi6 ,Correct!
it must be an absolute nightmare to throw all your best jabs, hooks, uppercuts and strongest punches at frazier, and for him to keep coming towards you.
Yeah and then not being able to get out of the way of that left hook
Greatest left hook in boxing heavyweight history
A warrior with a great heart.
Well said. Well said indeed.
Many of the men who won the title were tough. Joe Frazier was TOUGH ! R.I.P.
Damn, take a look at that left hook. Stunning!
What an amazing left hook... One of the all time greats in my opinion.
Also in the opinion of anyone who knows boxing! Smokin joe is 1 of the best heavyweights ever
+Raoul Akhtar I agree. Only lost to the best, and beat top competition at the time. Truly an amazing boxer.

Outstanding. Love that bobbing and weaving, then comes the hook!
Smoking Joe probably one of the greatest short punchers in heavy weight boxing ever!
My favorite boxer of all time in my opinion and wish I was born earlyr to witness the Frazier and Ali era of boxing, they don't make them the same anymore
The only guy that George foreman said he was scared of. Said he wanted no part of Frazier and that left hook
Foreman beat him senseless twice
@@Kawmanuwa people shut talks tstupid shit on yt
@@Kawmanuwa he did but he was still afraid of him beforehand. He didn’t know how easily he would be able to beat him
@@viperfanaccount688 I'm a big Joe Frazier fan. Great left hook
@@Kawmanuwa he was amazing. Especially from 1967-71. It’s a shame his 2 losses to Foreman made him get overlooked later on
Thanks reznick I swear you make the best videos man
No matter what video, no matter how good it is there's always at least 1 malcontent who gives it a thumbs down.
Oh man ! You know how much I like Frazier! Nice vid as usual !

most brutal left hook ever
Never boxed in my whole life, just watched, more than 50 years. Smokin' Joe was my favourite.
talk about wasting 50 years
Great, fantastic and immortal Joe Frazier!!! Respect forever!!!
Joe Frazier would beat any heavyweight out there today including any of the klitchkos.
eyup
Not Butterbean
Reg Kray The Klitschko’s were the most overrated heavyweights on the planet.
ned hed Haha Knoxville might in the rematch.
Nah he will reck them with his body shots
Joe was a weapon , can tell where Cus got his vision of Tyson from
Not quiet

What a guy. I love Joe Frazier.
Joe was a hard reality check.
The most inspiring and bravest fighter I’ve ever seen
Smokin' Joe was awesome!
What a legendary warrior! Best left hook in history.
Duke had a bomb of a left hook but Frazier had a heat seeking missile. Deadly and accurate.
Morrison?
Yea Tommy had a Great left Hook . But I would Say Fraziers the Best tho
Smokin Joe ! an amazing boxer, thanks for this excellent video
Easily my favorite boxer of all time. Non stop engine, refuses to give up. Left hooks for days.
How Ellis got up at 2:32 after that tremendous left hook, I will never know. It does not show it here, but he did.
Tells you a lot about that era of boxing. Ellis and Bonavena would have been champs in any other era.
Allow me to add Jerry Quarry and Chuvalo. The 60's was a crazy decade for the Heavyweight division in Boxing.

Joe was great and he had great stamina
Bobbing and Weaving for 15 rounds...Holy shit! Try that for 3 mintues and you get cramps.

Joe could not have competed as a heavyweight in this era. Back then he was a great small heavyweight, no question.
