I sunk a couple of beers, in the stream about 75' up from the bridge, some one took them. When wete you up there? FWIW: Trail Creek Lake used to be the cover photo fkr the Idaho State Hwy map. Think the valley and lake burned around 1998 and recovery is still ongoing.

Haha, damn that sucks! I was up there literally almost a year ago in a few days. The nature in Idaho spoke to me and I wish to go back soon! Sorry about your beer!

It has been a frustrating time for many during the pandemic. I had planned a seven week trip in the eastern parts of the USA describing a loop from Miami north to Bar Harbor, west to Lake Superior and south to New Orleans before returning to our start. While most of the ground I had covered before there were the last two of the lower 48 I wanted to explore. When travel stopped I cancelled and then re-booked everything for the following fall. Once again I had to cancel. As I had retired I had booked several more trips which I had to abandon. Now I am trying to make up for the lost time I find age related health concerns becoming more prominent. All through my life I have tried to make the best of what I have (which is a lot less than many). I too have not excelled academically or entered a prominent profession. I have though tried to enjoy life and make the most of opportunities that came my way. Every chance I had to travel and explore I took and, even though it was usually on a shoestring, I enjoyed. Your trip might not have been what you planned but this walk you did looked amazing. Your way of presenting what you encounter is really engaging. I watched with envy as you crossed the streams. Years ago I would have run across these but now as I get older my balance is not what it was and I just have got wet. Make the most of each day. They will not all be great but most of them can be quite good. Have a great day!

Ivor, your comments are always thoughtful and filled with wisdom that I will learn from. I envy your videos because you are worldly. The boring cliche thing to say is “age is nothing but a number” and to a certain degree that is true, however it’s the effort you put into your work that puts you above just an age. Your willingness to travel so much is admirable and I hope to follow in such foot steps. Thank you for this.
