Agreed! It’s better to have those information in order to better understand the costs and procedures in other countries! The Q & A sessions are great!! Keep up the good work. Love from Malaysia!!❤️
Agree on that. However, root canals are not recommended. There is science behind the claim, that root canals really just encapsulates bacteria a death tissue around and then death root of a tooth, which is not great. That could leak and for instance cause inflammation in other parts of the body, causing really serious health issues down the line. Mercola has warned against it in the past in many articles and recommend a full pull of the tooth instead.

Kudos to the Whitaker family for doing this. This not only introduces people to sailing but to a more independent life. How to figure out and solve problems on your own. Keith and Renee - I used to be a high school teacher for 17 years (fellow Texan here!) and I just want to say how wonderful your kids are. Each one of them has clearly been encouraged to develop into who they really are at their core. It feels rare these days for parents to nurture/allow individuality rather than imposing their own dreams - or the traits the “world” values - upon their own kids (at least in my experience). For example, I just loved the way Kate lit up talking about the deep conversations everyone had over the course of the month. You could tell that was something she values (me too!) and I loved hearing her verbalize how important that felt. Anyway, I just wanted to pass my compliments along to you since I’m sure you have days where you question your own parenting, etc. You shouldn’t! The Whitaker kids are lovely. 🥰 Unrelated: I am extremely sorry for all the people commenting on the possibility of romances etc. That’s really nobody’s business except the people involved, and I’m afraid that as “viewers,” we seem to forget the people on the screen are HUMAN BEINGS with actual lives! 🤦♀ I’m so embarrassed whenever I see those comments… grown-ass adults should know better than to “gossip” about something good and healthy and NORMAL! (Especially in the comments, good grief. 🙄) Anyway, I’m wishing you continued safe travels… thanks for sharing your lives with us!
Man, I have a love hate relationship with this one !!! It makes me so happy and so sad 😏 I think all these kids, Z kids also, gained 10 years of maturity, what a fabulous experience and opportunity for them !!! And it says A LOT of Keith and Renee, because pleasing a boat load of teens and having them come together took some gentle but firm mentoring….well done !!! I’m sitting her crying but can’t wait for the reunion…..and their will be a reunion ❤️ Blessings to each and every one of you !!! Happy 20th Jack !!! You are looking so handsome these days with your hair a normal cut and clean shaven !
Couldn't agree more. I've been watching since the beginning and while I agree that Renee and Keith are providing their kids with an invaluable experience it comes with a cost too. Kate was this bubbly, outgoing little girl when they started who absolutely adored making friends when they were in port long enough for her to do so. She was clearly very gregarious, so outgoing and look how much that has changed in the last 3 years! Especially with the older sister Anna gone, she's now just got two brothers and she just looks so much more withdrawn and quiet to me. It was really great to see how she came out of her shell with the girls around and my heart just aches for her to lose these newfound friends and be back you know to just Mom, Dad and the boys. Kids need social stimulation when they're growing up and again while I acknowledge that these kids are receiving an invaluable experience being on the boat, they're also losing out on a lot of really important things that are part of their teen years, you know being social with other kids, learning how to interact with other kids but mostly the friendships and the nurturing that comes from those friendships...that's really invaluable as a teen is growing up.
It’s ok, she’ll make friends in collage in a year or so. with that bubbly and too friendly personality as a preteen you can easily mess up your life. Keith and Rene never doubt yourself as parents. You and only you know your kid. You were the ones who changed their diapers 10 times a day for their first years, soothed them to sleep, stayed up with them who knows how many nights. I only wish one day I can be as good parents as you two are.❤
@@ariag.8745 I feel like any type of parenting and life style has has a cost, good and bad, positive and negative. We are imperfect people and parenting is a big practice playing field that we don’t get to redo. I was listening to a video yesterday by Curtis stone, he had his wife on for the first time and they were discussing raising their kids and homeschooling/unschooling, meaning no curriculum, child led learning. He was an urban farmer but they have moved to a mountain top and live off grid so this video was quite different. Anyhow they made some reference to books about teaching kids and one thing they learned about was “peer attachment”, it was quit interesting. It’s about keeping your kids physically and emotionally close, as a family. I want to learn more about it but it makes sense, think of why kids join gangs, why are girls giving up their bodies before marriage, why do kids resent parents ? It’s because they didn’t spend enough time with parents and get attached to others. Kate is a beautiful girl, she has a wonderful upbringing, the close time she has with her family may very well be what saves her from a world that wants to use her (and we don’t want to see Keith go to prison, hehe) ! Of course she may feel blue or lonely at times, what teenager doesn’t ? But the parents put a lot of effort into raising these kids and make sure they have opportunities. Seems they have more than a lot of land locked kids….travel the world, water sports, guitar playing, skateboarding, sailing, navigation….. Kate will be fine, she is learning life in a positive atmosphere and she will adjust fine if she decides to go live on land someday. Oh and if she wasn’t able to adjust socially she wouldn’t have fit in with this group of kids coming onboard. All these kids are blessed by this life !
All great kids and wonderful to see them bond. It’s a unique and promising time to be a young adult. Ethan’s communications skills, sense of humor, and self awareness are impressively well developed for his age. He’s positioned to go far. They all will.
I agree 100% with your comments. It is obvious that Ethan is going to become very successful in whatever he desires. It makes me feel confident of our future generation when I see young people like him. It’s a shame that the media tends to show more bad in our youth then showing more Ethan’s.
OMG, another great episode! I have no words. You have not only changed a few kids lives forever but many of us watching have learned so much from watching you all. I just lost my granddaughter at 15 and seeing how well Kate is handling life with these kids and teaching them lessons makes me think of my granddaughter. Jack and Finn, what wonderful and talented boys! Happy Birthday Jack! I hope you never leave the boat but I’m sure someday you will want to. Mom and dad! You have done wonderful things here! I’m 58 and I wish I could have spent this much time with my kids! Thank you!
Honestly, I'm really sad this specific adventure has come to an end. Love this channel, as you bring so much to us - so much to experience through your lens, Renee. Choked up at the end, too. Well done Sailing Zatara & Crew!
Congratulations to Jack for his 20th Birthday. And to all of that young people have a good remembrance about this great weeks on the boat with the Whitaker family.
Been watching the Z crew for several years now & the previous 4-5 weeks has been a blast. I would love to see another experiment such as this one performed again someday. You've changed those kid's lives for sure! Well done mates.....!!

Now, I have to wait for Thursdays like everybody else! 😂 I'm too old and not in good enough health to go on an adventure like this, but I so appreciate the high quality of the Z-crew's channel. Sometimes I really feel like I'm there. Renee, you're a terrific storyteller. You bring light and joy into my life, and I appreciate it enormously.

I was in the DR on our old boat, (lagoon 450s). when I got my hand stuck in the wheel and got leveled when I put it in reverse. almost broke my arm. But the hospital experience was fast, cheap, and safe
So sad to see Bella, Maura and Ethan go, really glad they stuck it out for the month, this has been a life altering experience for them, something to reflect on forever. And for the Whitakers good on ya 👍, looks like Kate, Finn and Jack had an excellent time with the new Mills on board.
A lovely idea to have these adventurers join you for a month. I hope you all stay in touch. I would love to see a follow up with each of the guests two or three months from now and see if there is still any residual impact on their life plans. I know the young ladies had a very positive impact on Kate. She seemed much more comfortable and I could swear, I think she actually wore make up ! Now that Jack is 20, when is he going to start his own adventure? School? Charter Captain course? Really looking forward to see Anna back on the boat for a visit and a life update. Still miss her on the vlogs.
Aah, touching. Kate her voice changed so much. Another group of people forever hooked to adventure. And yes Renée, a root canal doesn't have to cost 2000 USD. We also pay 70 USD. Hope to see you guys in the med.
I’m Italian and I’m currently on my last year of school. Every single day i ask myself the same question : what do you want to do after school? After that i start feeling the pressure of life , or at least the pressure that society has created on us .. because you have to be fast and decide quickly , they say . I always hear people saying “world is not waiting for you ,so if you don’t decide now who you want to become , you’ll be finished “ . After watching your videos I realised that I don’t want to live a monotonous life , following the pre marked road and ending up like an unhappy person . Yes, i don’t know yet what I actually want to do (professionally) , but i know that i want to see the world and enjoy of every single little gift that life gives to us . Thank you for sharing your life whit us , is very inspiring !!! :)
Renee, when these young people first came on the boat, I didn't think it was going to be a good time. However, in watching the episodes with them, I think the Z-Crew and you and Keith did a great job with them. I hope that you'll be able to do it again at some point in the future and that people will be just as fun for the next go around. You did a good thing.

Sounds like everyone had a good time. It's great that you can give a few kids a memory of a lifetime and likely make lifelong friends. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
So great to see a real family (True Americans)on RUclips. God bless you all and my the younger generation learn from your family!!! This is how you are supposed to live and interact with each other!
I didn't really think much of this before this video, but I think this was the best thing you guys did for your kids(speaking parental wise/boat owners). I remember you saying many months ago you wish your kids experienced what others did in normal life in some ways. I think this may have somewhat fulfilled that gap(it will never be fully), but they get to learn from others, and from different countries too! The communication they have done and on both sides(Z crew and newly honored Z crew members), has given a learning experience that is better than any teacher or book can do. I think it has proven that your kids have a once in a life time experience that almost no one will ever get. But these come with sacrifices, so does an average experience(mostly boring, sometimes not). Always everyone wants better, the only difference is those that push to actually make their life better for themselves. Good work on taking the leap in this one for the whole Z crew and trying it. Sounds like you will at least keep a couple on board when things make sense to mix things up. Looking forward to seeing YOU out there on the Water!
I know I'm later here! I really think that of all of the teens visiting for the month, Ethan was the person who got the most joy out of this quest! Thanks to you, the Whitaker Family, you have helped change these young peoples lives! I truly enjoy watching your adventures!
When you said someone was in the dentist screaming and crying, I immediately thought of the scene in Finding Nemo when they were screaming in the dentist office and everyone was watching in fear. You gave me a good laugh. But seriously I am terrified of the dentist too.
That was a months worth of watching that hit all the right nerves. Fantastic experience given and shared with 5 green horns. It was a shame that the first lad could not get past his homesickness as I'm sure it would of been a epic learning experience for him but it is what it is. Thank you Zcrew👏👏👏
What a fantastic people you all are! I have really enjoyed watching all the video’s on RUclips en TikTok and seeing the pictures on instagram!! Well done Withaker Family!! Hope to see you guys do it again!
Life for so many people is based on caution and fear. There are some good reasons for that, but when caution and fear become an obsession a person doesn't learn his or her own limits and doesn't move on in life. This family has shown that life is meant to be a creative process not a deadly routine.
i have watched earlier episodes of Sailing Zatara and thought same ol same ol. This episode drew me back in, what a wonderfull thing you did for those young people, they will never forget it, wish it happened to me, too late though, im 74 years old, keep it up.
What a great thing the Z-crew did for these kids. Perhaps maybe next time, you should do it some place that you’re familiar with. This way it’s more about the sailing and activities rather than the “unknown”, such as this was. Great job guys. Happy Holidays!
Just fantastic. I think your guests loved just about every minute, and I certainly loved seeing the experience through their eyes..And those goodbyes, strewth, someone's chopping onions...xx😅😅
It's so nice to see that you took those green horns and showed them what it's like to live your style of live... But also! It's great that your kids were so welcoming to these new people. I really tip my hat to the both of you! I remember my uncle took me for 2 weeks sailing the north channel in Canada it was such an amazing experience even though it was on a 26 foot boat, And it's so true, deep conversations and keeping a open and positive attitude even when being annoyed or frustrated at each other really separates the people that can handle such an adventure! PLEASE SAIL THE NORTH CHANNEL! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Just started subscribing recently, binged watched today (it was suppose to be raining) and think this was such a great idea for your family to have guest teenagers on Zatara. I think I've seen about a dozen of your ep's so far. And thanks to your Son, Finn, for popping up a few days ago (so I watched a few of his vlogs). I've seen a few others living on their boats via YT but you guys got me more interested for lots of reasons. Thankfully I grew up with a Dad that always had boats (biggest was a mid '60's Owens Cabin Cruiser just under 30') so I loved being out on the water, fishing, and swimming in the summers. But to be on the open seas and be sailing around so many countries is just amazing. It can be stressful but the Captain sure knows what he's doing on this yacht! The Crew is not so bad either!
Another great chapter of your lives wrapped up. Still can't get over how well you integrate the visual quality and how well the storylines are interlaced into the overall novel of your lives. You manage to capture and make appealing the "American goofiness" while exploring yet still make the boredom, adventure, and family dynamics on every level the envy of probably all other sailing channels. What really makes me smile is this traditional family's wholesomeness most likely absolutely frustrates to tears 3/4 of Hollywood producers and their writers who can't figure out why a dude with purple hair reading to kids just isn't going mainstream and channels like this get 500K subscriptions.
Having had a double root canal that eventually went wrong over the following years after ie: a WHOLE bunch of health issues with no explanation, then FINALLY realising how dodgey root canals are for your health-I went and got those two offending molars taken out (which came along with a suprise emotional release); I’m now realising that getting that tooths taken out was 99% the best solution in the first place… I found your dentist footage brought back the trauma of the dentist office… AND I never found dentist work disturbing before… Just goes to show, how we store trauma memories in our bodies, even when we thought “I’m over that experience “

It makes me so happy and so sad 😏
I think all these kids, Z kids also, gained 10 years of maturity, what a fabulous experience and opportunity for them !!!
And it says A LOT of Keith and Renee, because pleasing a boat load of teens and having them come together took some gentle but firm mentoring….well done !!!
I’m sitting her crying but can’t wait for the reunion…..and their will be a reunion ❤️
Blessings to each and every one of you !!!
It’s because they didn’t spend enough time with parents and get
attached to others.
Keith, Rene’, and family are so real and open in these videos, it’s makes me feel like they are only talking to me.
Thank you!
Bravo - I couldn’t have said it any better!
Honestly, I'm really sad this specific adventure has come to an end. Love this channel, as you bring so much to us - so much to experience through your lens, Renee. Choked up at the end, too. Well done Sailing Zatara & Crew!
The fial goodbye brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for another wonderful insight into the Sailing Zatara family.
The three who made it the whole month were the best!! They blended well with y’all. Bring em back please.
Was sad seeing those kids leave the boat, I know that it had a very postive effect on them all. And Happy Birthday Jack.
So sad it’s over! I hope Ethan, Bella and Maura go ⛵️ with you all again next year! Loved these vlogs!
I had a crack underneath a crown and it turned into an abscess! The WORST PAIN! And I’m an airbrush makeup artist & worked thru it! Ugh I can totally understand how u feen Rene !
WOW that's all I got WOW. Congrats to Mom and Dad for making this happen for there kids and the others. They will never forget.
It was fun to watch those kids, good energy.
This is the first episode that I waited for, after binging from the very beginning over several weeks.
I really hope you do this again with some more people coming on the boat. Thank you so much for your entertaining show.
I love the fact that you invited these young people from differant countries to join you for a month. This allows your kids to experience all the social aspects of others of their age group.
Keith and the Zatara family... your hospitality is amazing... to welcome people onto your boat speaks volumes.. Ups to you all🥰🥰🥰
The next morning must have felt really weird. So quiet. But I'll bet it was a terrific experience for everyone involved. Thanks for sharing Z crew.
I love you guys. Good wake boarding Keith. Ending made me want to cry. Goodbyes are so hard. Love you all , God bless every moment of each of your lives.
Parting is always sad for kids, but it's like summer camp or changing schools. They'll get over it, and will have grown so much from the experience. Thanks for another great video! Can't wait to see you tour Israel!
Hey guys the last month of videos have been awesome the new members of the Z crew were all fabulous great kids thank you Keith and Renee for allowing them to come aboard and make lifelong friends and memories God-bless you guys and safe sailing
Kudos Keith and Renee, inspiring others comes naturally to both of you and that shows in your kids and these visitors as well.
Sad to see everyone go! Don't waste you lives people, don't wish you had and shoulda, woulda, coulda yourself! Make it happen.
I’m so jealous of you guys! You are a beautiful family and your lifestyle amazes me! Thanks for sharing your journey with us❤
I was in the DR on our old boat, (lagoon 450s). when I got my hand stuck in the wheel and got leveled when I put it in reverse. almost broke my arm.
Having those kids aboard was so much fun! You have to do it again!
It was so sad to see them leave. I got really emotional watching. 😢
Oklahoma Gal here again!! What a blessing your family is!! Looks like the right group of young people got to go on this amazing awesome journey!! I’m sure their lives have been touched and changed forever!!!!!! ZATARA FAMILY YOU ROCK!! keep on keepin on doing what makes your hearts smile!! OKLAHOMA WISHES YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Blessings Blessings and more Blessings to You All!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I am one that stands CORRECTED from my original thoughts on this idea… After seeing the end and the 3 people’s lives were truly affected in a good way is priceless⛵️🧡
I have been following you guys since you where on a monohull always great content. I have to say I really enjoyed this series with the kids it was interesting and fun to watch you guys should make it a regular thing all the best from Alberta Canada
Thoroughly enjoyed Kates secret hand signals... in this video and the last one. Kate , your face rules the waves. Zatara crew is an inspiration this world desperately needs
Geez it feels like they just got there and they're leaving already. So sad! We'll miss them too.
I sure hope Jack made a move and got kiss from Maura, because she might be a keeper. ❤
Wasn’t he dating this one girl like 3 years back
@@bryanwilkin7242 lily but they parted ways
Who says dreams don’t come true! God bless you guys for giving them the experience of a lifetime!
Ngl, imma gonna miss those kids from the next episodes. Their positive energy was really refreshing. Hope to see them again on the boat at some point.
16:14 Man the cinematography here is so well done. I swear i thought i was watching realityTV show for a moment.
Awesome seeing the big guy!👈🏼👍🏼✌🏼 slam down on the wake ! Hit the ramp next time !
I pegged Bella all wrong. I thought she was going to be the drama but she was the energy of these kids. Good kid.
Such joy. Such sadness.
Renea, congrats you are out of pain. Thankfully I worked in dentistry and got a discount. Good conversation, everyone participated, no one dominated
Love some modern mid-sea match-making - long live love
That ending was so sad 🥺
What an absolutely amazing experience with an awesome bunch of people! ❤
Hope to see you guys do it again!
amazing kids in deep conversation. A journey to impact young sailors whether it be on the water or land.
Life for so many people is based on caution and fear. There are some good reasons for that, but when caution and fear become an obsession a person doesn't learn his or her own limits and doesn't move on in life. This family has shown that life is meant to be a creative process not a deadly routine.
Omg I've become so attached to you guys I'm in tears
i have watched earlier episodes of Sailing Zatara and thought same ol same ol.
These young people give me hope for the future of humanity
Looks like some connections are made, a lot of experience for the young ones. Amazing family, thanks you share with us. Waiting for another part ⛵
So sad to see Ethan go. 😢
Brilllllliant - to see lives changed forever. Thanks for sharing 👍 bravo to their parents
LOOOL WHAT AN OPENING OF THIS SHOW, VERY UNEXPECTED SAILING EXPERIENCE, GREETINGS , TY, AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL
What a memorable experience for everyone.
I love this crew and hope to see them again.
Wow, and I thought I loved Zatara before. Heart swells for all of you, since it was so sweet. This will not be the last, I'm sure.
These kids would realize your gift to them after they get back. And in years to come!
Having had a double root canal that eventually went wrong over the following years after ie: a WHOLE bunch of health issues with no explanation, then FINALLY realising how dodgey root canals are for your health-I went and got those two offending molars taken out (which came along with a suprise emotional release); I’m now realising that getting that tooths taken out was 99% the best solution in the first place…
I found your dentist footage brought back the trauma of the dentist office…
AND I never found dentist work disturbing before…
Just goes to show, how we store trauma memories in our bodies, even when we thought “I’m over that experience “
