+Robert Oortwijn True, its rather a shame TBH. Admittedly you can't blame them the verge makes much more views and money off of apple videos, too look back to last year there iPhone 6 review got 2,6 million views, there iPhone 6 plus review got 1,1 million views much higher than there android completion of the time Samsung Galaxy S5 only got 90,000 views, the HTC M8 300,000 views and the LG G3 only got 80,000 views. So it would make sense that they would try harder to impressive the larger viewer base since all additional epensces will be covered and they may gain more long time subscribers.
+Robert Oortwijn MKBHD just just put out an unboxing of the iPhone and already got 11x the views as the Verge, and he reviews more androids than iPhones.
I'm surprised the iPhone 6S is getting almost only positive feedback this year. Usually there would always be the "but it only has 8MP", "but it only has 1 GB of RAM", and this time it feels like Apple has filled all of those gaps with space to spare for new features. I love it.

Abraham Azam Well for the video review, not so much. But the written review is pretty comprehensive and I enjoyed it over previous reviews which just screamed bias. Yeah, the Apple bias is still present, but for me it's a bit more toned down which is good nonetheless. I don't agree that it's the best phone on the market, but hey can't change his opinion.
Oh my god, just discovered this channel... look at this quality, reviews, details... hands down the best quality and tech videos I have seen on RUclips. Of course, subscribed!
Got it right after the release, and it is great. Great screen quality. Better Wi-Fi and cell signal, and awesome 3D Touch. Could not ask for anything better, and totally worth the price. Highly recommended!
+Ben Humphreys The Verge is kind of known for dick riding Apple. Their content is of such high quality, really, but they're ridiculously biased. Except for this video. This video is actually much better.
Don't listen to this dude. While the quality is amazing, the bias is so evident. I mean seriously? We are gonna get so bold over the 3D touch that it's the best phone ever? Seriously? Come on I am a huge Apple fan and even I can see the bullshit in that statement.
+Armando Maldonado best is subjective. To me it's the best and I repair phones and pcs for a living also I work it. I have a secondary android phone tho.
+Airborn14 ive learned that you should never wait for a new model of a phone (iphone 5, 6, 4 etc.) the reason why is because apple takes better care of the S models they last longer they work faster and the speed is always the same as soon as the iphone 6 becomes lower on the spectrum the speed of it decreases while the S models last longer and are still fast so i would not recommend gettin the iphone 7 just get the 6s or get the 7s
+Ethan Patel I'd actually say the opposite, because the new generation is always new and sets a standard with new features and what not. After two years you'll get a new phone anyway so it doesn't matter. The s model is simply and upgrade, and in reality is just a little bit faster and smoother. You'll save your self a couple seconds, or maybe wait a little longer for things to load. It's pretty insignificant actually. Hoping on the "generation" model I would say is a better bet. The improvements are only marginal. The s model isn't worth it as much.
rohitcsrini you are correct however with the S model I feel it is more worth it because all the problems with the new generation (iphone 6, or 7) are compiled and then fixed to eradicate them completely as well as adding new features that make the phone better as a whole for example with the 6 apple saw people had the problem of bending the phone from just being in your pocket to fix this they used a stronger aluminum that would completely stop the bending and also added extra weight which was also a problem with the 6 that it was too light and felt like it would fall out of the hands of the user and then of course internally there is a hige jump between the 6 and 6s. The front facing camera in the 6 is 1.2 megapixels while now in the 6s it is 5 then the back on the 6 was a 5 megapixel now it is 12! and it shoots in 4K video which is amazing. Personally I feel that if you are at least 2 or 3 generations behind the newest phone to come out it would be worth getting the upgrade but only if it is a S model. I have an iphone 4 and was going to get the 6 last year but i waited to see the problems that came with it and one week after i saw videos of the bending and the lightness and decided to wait till now to get the S because I knew apple would get rid of these. Anyway thats just my opinion no doubt the hype for new non S model iphones is a lot higher because with those apple reveals a completely new design that is always so cool but i would rather wait for the S.
Terrific and excellent review , the only reviewer that doesn't boot lick the Iphones all day... and bashes it in its very own review in a balanced way , we need you to do more iphone reviews in the future... realistically , the Iphone 6S is going to be the first apple phone to shatter records , in terms of how lowly regarded , how uninnovative and how less it will sell given it is identical to the Iphone 6
I'm upgrading from an iPhone 3G I got in 2008 in my first year of high-school, to the 6S+ today as a 1st-year Uni student. It's been a wild ride friend, but time to say goodbye...
For everyone who is arguing about iOS and Android, Android wouldn't be a real hit if there wasn't an inspiration coming from Apple's iOS, sure iOS is just playing catching up, but iOS is the most stable OS you can use on a smartphone. And for those who arguing about Apple and Samsung, Fingerprint Sensor's was a big success because of Touch ID, Samsung on the other side implemented a Fingerprint Scanner but in a fucked up way "Put your finger gently and drag it down to the home button" Seriously isn't that crazy? I even thought that Samsung's fingerprint scanner was a just a gimmick. and going back to 3D Touch, Samsung's Air View in Galaxy S4 is a great innovation but not much of a deal, Apple on the other hand made a Air View with a greater use and better performance. Apple don't copy things that came years ago, they just revive it and make it better for everyone to experience and be an inspiration to other manufacturers.
Not being an iSheep but this is the truth. Apple don't copy things that came years ago, they just revive it and make it better for everyone to experience and be a inspiration to other manufacturers.
Coming from a 5C, I have to say even after a day, I love my new 6S. Kinda bummed they got rid of the 32G option, but I guess from a marketing standpoint I can see why. With all the new photo features, you're gonna fill up the 16G base model in a hurry if you're using the camera all the time. I guess Apple was counting on this, which is why they jumped directly to the 64G model. this way they can say "Hey, we offer a base model....buuuuut if you plan on taking anything but minimal basic pictures, music and video, you're gonna want the added storage capacity of the larger models" Something tells me 32G would be damn near perfect for your average user if it were an option....but it ain't. Good ol apple...all about the $$$
Riiiiight, you can prefer what you want, but for the public to continue to trust your opinion you need to show at least some balance. The phone isn't perfect, no phone is. But if you go by Walt, it is. There's nothing wrong with it at all and it is the best period. That's just silly (cough --battery life-- cough). Just because he's been reviewing things for 20 plus years doesn't mean he doesn't have to show balance in his reviews. Most younger people watching him now on The Verge have no idea who he even is, nor do they care.
Well most people would agree it is the best phone on the market, and it's close to perfect. Obviously nothing is though. And you mustn't be much of a tech enthusiast if you don't know who Walt is. I'm 13 and I know.
+Skip Aj I said most of the young Verge audience won't know, not that I don't or you for that matter, just most. Yes the iPhone is great, I've owned quite a few of them. But he should how some balance in his "review" and not just say it's the best and that's it. Maybe the best for him, or for you. But no phone is ever "the best" because different people need different things from it devices. So again, balance.
+Skip Aj if you are so into tech then you should know that the review he did was extremely bias. He did not give definitive reasons or comparisons for his claims. Yes i know him but i don't like him because he is really really bias towards certain tech companies. If you think he's a good reviewer you are bias as well. And you are making a really broad statement about the best phone. In South Korea and other asian countries they would point to android as better. Plus 80% of all phones are android. You have also know facts to back you up because no one will be bothered to survey all the countries possible to find what they think is the best phone. As that is the only fair way to find it out and no researcher would do that over any science. I could be wrong but i highly doubt any researcher would bother to do it.
+Youssef Amoun It's not supposed to be a noticeable change...Apple just did that to increase the durability of the phone because of all the faulty units that were being shipped last year with the 6 and 6+.
Nice review! I'm thinking about getting this phone and appreciate the nice detailed review such as this one. I have been a iPhone user for years and my wife just got the 6s and it is blazingly fast!
+Josh Utley (Tagonn) Here is the reality of it. Apple does not offer the hundreds of widgets and such that android does. It does not currently offer as much custom options. Why? Because not enough apple uners want all of that. I use both, so I accept that each has a niche to fill. But until such a time as Apple NEEDS 8 cores or 4 gigs or ram, why waste the battery to power all of that? Ios runs as smooth as pure android with the hardware it has. Matching android for specs would be overkill and a waste of resources for current Ios options.
+Edwin Montanez Superior to YOU. NOT to everyone. What is best for you will NOT be best for everyone. If we could all just stop with the stupid "matter of fact" and "best phone" opinions, there would be a lot less arguments over these stupid phones.
+Josh Utley (Tagonn) Thats fine if thats what works for you. But seriously think of this. Android has those specs because it NEEDS them to offer so many options AND still run smoothly. Android could not run for shit on 1gig of ram and a dual core. But on the other side, if Apple matched android, Ios would not run any different because it does not need that much resource power. So all you would be doing is draining your battery faster for nothing. And lets face it, Apple already charges a lot just because of the brand. Just imagine the cost for basically overkill specs. I do think one day Apple will match or even try to exceed android specs from Samsung or LG. But I dont see that happening until apple starts offering more customizable software.... if ever. They do like to keep things mostly simple. Not arguing with you BTW. I build my computers to be overkill. I wont buy or upgrade anything that isnt better specs than what ive got. But I also see where it would just be a waste right now for IOS.
This is not a review, this is an ad trying to be a review. But then again if you want an independent review go to another site or watch guys like MKBHD
+Ben Humphreys Apple selects it's media very carefully. If you are not careful what you are saying about some product, you won't get the chance to go to Apple's events anymore or won't receive any devices in advance. This whole "reviewing in advance" is good for both Apple and the media. Apple gets free marketing and the media gets views and attention. It's a win win but I won't trust any of these reviews. Just wait until the iPhone has officially been released.
+Kevin S. Yeah saw a written "review" in the same stile The Verge does it and to the reviewer anything about the i6s was superlative. You rarely see so much ass kissing. He also did his best to make the S6 Edge+ look much worst than the i6s in basically anything. To him even the iphone's 12mp camera was way sharper than the S6's 16mp camera.
i upgraded to a 6s plus the day it came out from an iPhone 5s and it is blOWING my mind, i love it so much, but i definitely see how upgrading from a 6 wouldn't really make a difference
Soooo many android fans in the comments being spiteful. Smh. People care so much about stuff they don't have or don't want. If you don't like it DON'T CLICK THE VIDEO
+Ben Humphreys mediocre battery life, no SD card slot, 16gb starting point with no 32gb option either, huge bezels, *super expensive price tag*, a tad limiting on the software side too. (This is coming from an iPhone user too)
***** No, you originally asked what is there bad to say about an iPhone and there is your answer, those are a few bad points about iPhones. I'm not saying their terrible, I actually prefer iPhones over any other phone, but they certainly have negative aspects like I mentioned and in saying that its a review, they should mention that since they are you know .. "Professional" "Un-bias" "Reviewers".
The only thing I love about this iPhone craziness is that other phone makers are trying to make best phones they can make and that's how we advance in technology.
Everyone here was mad because the iphone is not good enough,And I was like, thats is my dream phone,if someone give it for free eventhough it crack I would take it anyway😭
LG G4: Overheats while doing non-intensive tasks Touchscreen misses taps half the time, takes 3 tries on average to unlock the phone with Knock Code Hexa-core space heater processor but still laggy All-plastic design, Leather exasperates overheating issues 3000mah battery but barely lasts longer than the S6 Charges slowly, especially while using due to thermal throttling Onboard audio DAC and amp is a joke, sound glitches when using external amp S6: 3gb of Ram yet can't keep more than 2 apps open at a time Battery life issues up the arse Wifi reception is terrible Apps crash constantly Screen burn-in issues, get worse over time due to how AMOLED works KNOX Counter voids your warranty if you root it GPS alignment is awful, will probably end up killing a few people in the future HTC One M9: Subpar camera Overheating. Enough said. Keep in mind that I've owned all 3 of these phones and have experienced almost all of these issues firsthand, along with people I know who also complained about issues that I listed. Not saying that the iPhone is without its faults, but whoever says that "Android>>>>iPhone because LOLROFL" is probably insecure about their bloated Android phone that has gone to shit halfway through their two-year contract and lashes out at iPhone users to make themselves feel better. I had an iPhone 5s from launch until 2 months ago before I tried out Android, and though it wasn't anything stellar it gave me much less of a hassle than any of the phones I listed here, and I'm almost certainly going back to iOS.
+Deez Nuts Really, I've found quite the opposite. I own both a iPhone 4 and a Samsung galaxy S4. Now, the iphone struggles to work, it lags, stutters, and overheats frequently. My S4 on the other hand, shows little sign of slowing down, its still just as snappy as the day I got it out of the box (yes some apps like gallery and contacts take a little while to open up, but its nothing compared to the iphone 4's slow performance. This is all despite the S4 being criticised for its bloatware and lag for a quad core phone. Its absolutely nowhere near as bad as my iPhone. Also, I have an S6 Edge and I've only had an app crash once, so maybe you just have a bad unit
Im_MENIME All that the S6 Active has is a larger battery, all the previous issues will still remain since they're related to the hardware and Touchwiz, which are both the same as on the standard S6. The S6 Active is also only available on ATT so.
ᴙ0c ᴙ0c Resorting to personal attacks? Okay. Its old? Sure. I guess thats why my iPhone 3G (yes I had that too) also started showing signs of slow down a couple of years later when I kept it updated with the latest versions of iOS. Which, is the same amount of time I've had the S4 (2 years). Its also running the latest Android version with no issues at all. You're calling me a liar? Fine, I don't really care what you say (personal attacks just show how insecure you are anyway). My S4 is still running absolutely fine, its beat up on the outside but otherwise there is no lag or slowdown to the point I questioned myself whether it was really worth upgrading to the S6 edge.
Just got a brand new 6s plus for Black Friday just to have a back up phone I must say it’s still fast and works well even with iOS 13 Apple 🍎 sure can make a older phone feel like a current model
I do agree that this new iPhone is a VERY good phone (maybe not necessarily for the price), but I would NOT say it is the best phone. Personally, I prefer Android, although I do like to stay updated with both companies. Apple is finally starting to add more originality and function to their phones, and it almost makes me want to get one. However, there are a lot of things Apple could do to really enhance the experience. Not bad, Apple, not bad.
I currently own the Galaxy S6 Edge plus but I must admit the new iPhone is in a category of its own after buying iPhone 6s Plus for my wife. The experience is really pleasant. The whole os feel really cohesive.
"The iPhone has always taken the best and most natural photes of all phones"... No. The six was beaten hardcore by the galaxy s6 and LG G4. Even the Lumias do a better job, they are just slower.
Very proud to say that I will be the owner of an iPhone 6s in two weeks. And I'm coming from an all Android background as it's all I've ever owned. But as of late, they have been pissing me off to no end and it's time for a true upgrade. Androids have a very short shelf-life and I need a phone that will last. I've seen people still using Apple products from years and years ago, still going strong. It's that reliability and simplicity that I desire in a phone I use every single day.
FUCK bigger screens. At this point Apple should just launch with two size phone lines. Big phones with big screens and smaller phones with more intricate designs. Anything bigger than an iPhone 5 is just overkill for me, personally. I just can't get on board with the "slowly approaching phablet" trend. I have a phone, I have a tablet, I have a laptop, I have a television. Each serve different purposes.
jkirk1626 Well, I don't doubt that. Apple basically decided to win over some of Samsung's "huge, clunky phone" market by making a phone like this, I get that. But Steve Jobs would not have compromised industrial design or the constructual integrity of his products for a slightly bigger profit. It's the same reason the 13'' Macbook pro is more popular than the 17'' (discontinued). At what point do phones become too big? Apple didn't birth their success by following in the footsteps of Samsung, is all I'm saying.
I am from the future, How are you enjoying your Moto Razr? If I were you I'd invest into Apple because in just two years Apple will release their very first cellphone and it's gonna change everything!
not sure if this message is going to be received but worth a try today I picked up a weird signal here in Los Angeles, California 2036 where president Justin bieber just declared nuclear war against china over Chinese food being banned in the US by president Donald trump early 2022 more than half of north America is gone and nuked please help.
I bought SGS2 on launch, got the Iphone 5s the same day it came out two years later and Im never going back to android again and I used to be a big android fanboy.
I'm still on my iPhone 5, and I can't see the reason to upgrade yet. I like the design of the phone. Plus, I want to see an iPhone with higher RAM, higher resolution for both models, and a different design. I've used iPhone 6's before and they feel like they'll slip from my grasp if I'm not holding it correctly
The few times I touched the iPhone 6 I loved the grip without a case. My HTC One is what needs a bloody case. The antenna lines are also not that bad, I originally thought they were just a design, the back would be pretty bare without.
As an iPhone user my self, I have to admit The Verge certainly are horrible at making reviews, their bias is beyond over done now. I love and respect all phones and with this Live Photo thing it would be nice for a "professional reviewer" to also mention that Windows phones have had this feature for years, also to say blatant things like "IPhones naturally are the best cameras on market" and to not mention top notch phones like the LG G4, Galaxy S6, Xperia Z5 cameras is beyond incredibly stupid and adds to my point; *The Verge are so bias that even iPhone users like my self find it annoying*.
David Isais To be fair, I've just refreshed my memory and yeah, the 4s was a bit of a non-upgrade. ***** A standard camera improvement that is still behind the competition, a feature that doesn't work with any 3rd party apps and the joke of 4k video on a 16Gb device... Where do I send my $700?
+D0hv No the 5s was the best S model upgrade yet that actually included innovations. Every one of those features you just named off was already in an android phone currently or in the past, except for the 7000 series aluminum part. Even 3d touch was already in a couple different android devices already and functioned fine, but it just wasn't a feature that was marketed well, so people quickly forgot about it. The 5s was the true innovation. It included the worlds first fingerprint scanner on a smartphone that actually had fantastic functionality and usability. It had MUCH sexier color option than the iPhone 5, and was probably one of the best looking phones for its time. It also included the WORLDS FIRST 64 bit processor on a smartphone, EVER. It also included the major true tone flash camera upgrade to the phone as well.
+sphinx onyx There's no doubt that the iPhone is simpler and easier to use, like the Mac OS vs Linux or Unix, and would therefore be more popular with some people. Some people don't mind the increased complexity of an Android phone, for things like greater control and choice in features and settings. Certain Android apps, like Google Maps and Google Now, function better than their iOS counterparts. So I guess it boils down to personal preferences.
Lol. The IPhone 6s is the "best phone ever". It's specs and software are years behind any decent android device. Apple has yet to make any major change in a device almost since it started. And not to mention Apple devices are way more expensive than pretty much any other phones, and Coke with less storage for the price.
Anyone noticed how The Verge puts more time into reviewing iPhones then any Android based phone? Just look at the presentation. It's high quality.
+Robert Oortwijn Agreed! Iphone biased? hmm...
+Robert Oortwijn True, its rather a shame TBH. Why are there more android fanboys than apple fanboys in the comment section? and in every iPhone video.....weird
They must have some serious issues.
It's unbeliavable
i think android users are more into the technology of each phone and iphone users are just using the phone caring less about the device's technology
Because they need to bash Apple to feel validated.
because we like technology. now stfu
+Keith Thor the ones who comment are simply jealous of the fact that whenever an iPhone launches, it creates the biggest buzz than any other android phone :P
That was the most informative, level headed, honest, non-bias, and professional review I've ever heard for a phone.
One of the best produced and edited iPhone videos out there. Good job.
Battery life should be a priority for future phones. This is regardless of phone maker and operating system. Going too thin is a stupid idea. Period.
+Manuel Fontanilla Preach!
Ok fine. Here goes:
I love Apple for bringing the touch screen to the mass market. Smooth, easy to use and the interface changes depending on the app and situation. The camera spec bump for both of the cameras. Very cool. I'm writing this on an iPhone 4 and I have the Samsung Galaxy S5.

+SH Lee Yes. I guess it only applies to replying to comments. Lol!

This is actually... A pretty nice unbiased review. Props to the reviewer man.

When is your new video coming ???
+TechRax TechRax!!!! you need to to a drop test on this phone!

They just want money!
+rohitcsrini
In nutshell:
S = Focus on features + improvement
Not an S = Focus on features + design + improvement
iPhone 7 ftw
Great production quality on the video.
Thanks!
I seriously want this phone. I love the big screen and new features with the iPhone 6s Plus. I currently have an iPhone 5 and need an upgrade.
This is best reviews i have ever seen. The cinematography is top notch, keep up the good work.
So I will just upgrade from my 4 to the 6 and still be blown away!!!!
+Honest Cigar Reviews Definetly, I've upgraded from the 6+ to 6s+ and am amazed at how fast this bad boy is!
+Honest Cigar Reviews i feel you, i have the 4 and im ready for a new upgrade!
+The Reviewed touch id is so fast it gets annoying if you just want to see the time
+Honest Cigar Reviews Still on the 4 here. Battery is just now kinda going downhill a bit. The 6s will be the one I think.
I'm updating from the 4s to the 6s
Editing game was really stepped up with this video, good job guys :D
Terrific and excellent review , the only reviewer that doesn't boot lick the Iphones all day... and bashes it in its very own review in a balanced way , we need you to do more iphone reviews in the future...
realistically , the Iphone 6S is going to be the first apple phone to shatter records , in terms of how lowly regarded , how uninnovative and how less it will sell given it is identical to the Iphone 6
The best iPhone review ever 👍🏼 and the background track just blends in with the video. WOW
This is honestly the best review i've seen. I've already watched it twice. Love how it's all explained.
Most of us wants an iPhone, even the android fans, but they are too shy, to say it !
ffeg4gs
+thomas horvath dream on
I don't want an iPhone. iOS is far too restricted for my taste.
+thomas horvath 80% of people are buying android phones because they are shy?
+claypool0
No! Because they can't afford an iphone
Am I the only one who likes the antenna lines
+Ollie Thompson probably
+Ollie Thompson I like them
+Ollie Thompson I do. It would look even weirder without them
Lol i din't know those were antenna lines but it would be great of they made an iphone 6s with the iphone 5c design that would look nice
+Ollie Thompson they suck just like Iphones
The iPhone 6s Plus 64GB costs $1250 here in Sweden, for real. The US price is a cheap af.
+Holger Lindh probably costs more in South America and China..lol
^true
+patrick jackson yeah but you also get service
Socialism is the answer.
+patrick jackson The iphone costs over around 700€ (the base model) here WITH a two year 25€ contract...
I'm upgrading from an iPhone 3G I got in 2008 in my first year of high-school, to the 6S+ today as a 1st-year Uni student.
It's been a wild ride friend, but time to say goodbye...
I have to say, this review style, is probably the best I've ever seen.
Android was in development before the first iPhone was released.
+Ron "iOS is the most stable OS you can use on a smartphone" clearly you have never owned a Google Nexus device.
I owned but we can admit that Android's are equaly great to iOS because they both have their advantages
The Venus Project Expect in the settings
Good ol apple...all about the $$$
I know right.
Watch the Walt Mossberg version.... It's basically an Apple commercial (pretty sure they turned comments off on that one)
+Raphy Martinez (Let's Talk Ball Pythons) just because most professional people prefer an iPhone doesn't mean its an ad.
One of the best reviews I’ve seen. I like this guys style providing a true real world review
Great review man!
Finally someone who just reviews a phone the right way.
Deff getting it. Going from Note 4 to this phone soon.
Then ur a dumbass. How do u just skip the Note 5? What many people call the best smartphone of 2015. What an idiot. Have fun with iOS traitor.
+Vuho ♥ Rofl!
EliteFlite My note 4 is a lag dump that's why.
+Vuho ♥ You didn't answer my question.😐😑😒
EliteFlite Don't bother getting an answer from him. Dumb will always be dumb.
Watching this in Sept 2016.
On my iPhone 4S.
I'm 99.9999999% sure NO ONE will notice 0.2 mm of thickness.
NO ONE
EVER
+Youssef Amoun It's not supposed to be a noticeable change...Apple just did that to increase the durability of the phone because of all the faulty units that were being shipped last year with the 6 and 6+.
+Mrmonkeymonster/Rish thickness is due to 3D Touch not the improved chassis.
+Steven Juris He's talking about the heavier aluminium alloy Apple is now using.
Nice review! I'm thinking about getting this phone and appreciate the nice detailed review such as this one. I have been a iPhone user for years and my wife just got the 6s and it is blazingly fast!
I have seen the best video review of iPhone 6S. Good job!!!
"...iphone 6 was the best phone ever made." Wow, was that a joke?
+Component Blaster It better fucking be its the latest it should be the greatest from em
+Josh Utley (Tagonn) Note phones are always superior but people won't accept that
+Josh Utley (Tagonn) Here is the reality of it.
I actually really like the antena bands
And for me it is the most beautiful phone
Wizard Ed same here
This is not a review, this is an ad trying to be a review. But then again if you want an independent review go to another site or watch guys like MKBHD
What's wrong with this review?
+Ben Humphreys it levies no actual criticism of the device, very much states subjective thoughts as objective truths.
Just wait until the iPhone has officially been released.
iVerge's entire site is an ad for Apple.
I have a 5 right now and I'm deciding if I want to get the 6 or the 6s and this was super helpful! Thank you!
Soooo many android fans in the comments being spiteful. Smh. People care so much about stuff they don't have or don't want. If you don't like it DON'T CLICK THE VIDEO
can't wait to get my iPhone 6s
the verge will never say anything bad about iphone
What is there to say?
+Ben Humphreys mediocre battery life, no SD card slot, 16gb starting point with no 32gb option either, huge bezels, *super expensive price tag*, a tad limiting on the software side too.
(This is coming from an iPhone user too)
Mike S yeah but this an iPhone review, they're not expected to have or ever get those features.
I have an iPhone 4s... *FOUR*, this is a *huge* improvement for me. I do hope I can get my hands on one.
I like this reviewer he's not too pushy and doesn't complain about things. Good video. Thumbs Up'd
*4K video with 16Gb of storage with a 750P screen, i think apple is trolling people*
The only thing I love about this iPhone craziness is that other phone makers are trying to make best phones they can make and that's how we advance in technology.
yeah competetion really brings out the best in us
iphones
Ughh im so jelly of literally everyone that has an iphone. I work and still cant afford it 😓
What phone do you have right now?
Batman Lg Risio
Lauren Rutherford That's so obscure, I don't even recognize the name. What version of AOS is it running?
+Batman i think its 5.1 Lollipop
Lauren Rutherford Time for you to upgrade! May I recommend an S7? Water-resistance, best camera available, best phone available right now.
One of the best reviews ever.
I really like how you break things down. it's a next level style of thinking. Respect
Everyone here was mad because the iphone is not good enough,And I was like, thats is my dream phone,if someone give it for free eventhough it crack I would take it anyway😭
Huhuhuhu
yeah, me too
Yeah. As long as it still works 😭😂
LG G4:
Overheats while doing non-intensive tasks
Touchscreen misses taps half the time, takes 3 tries on average to unlock the phone with Knock Code
Hexa-core space heater processor but still laggy
All-plastic design, Leather exasperates overheating issues
3000mah battery but barely lasts longer than the S6
Charges slowly, especially while using due to thermal throttling
Onboard audio DAC and amp is a joke, sound glitches when using external amp
S6:
3gb of Ram yet can't keep more than 2 apps open at a time
Battery life issues up the arse
Wifi reception is terrible
Apps crash constantly
Screen burn-in issues, get worse over time due to how AMOLED works
KNOX Counter voids your warranty if you root it
GPS alignment is awful, will probably end up killing a few people in the future
HTC One M9:
Subpar camera
Overheating.
Galaxy S6 Active fixes all of these issues with the addition of water resistance and a 3500 mah battery
My S4 is still running absolutely fine, its beat up on the outside but otherwise there is no lag or slowdown to the point I questioned myself whether it was really worth upgrading to the S6 edge.
ᴙ0c ᴙ0c Whatever. Come back when you have something mature to add.
"the best phone ever made...." that's your opinion.... biased review.
Oh great 1 line the horror
My God, these video skills are unreal! Really good looking, addictive! Great review
Just got a brand new 6s plus for Black Friday just to have a back up phone I must say it’s still fast and works well even with iOS 13 Apple 🍎 sure can make a older phone feel like a current model
Apple and iPhone rocks 😄👍
4K video!! what an innovation...
i'm sure samsung will have it on their next phone
Are you being sarcastic? the note 4 has 4k video
+niriskoda I think he was being sarcastic
and thats how you make a good review
wow, wanted to see a review on the iphone 6s and couldent have hoped to find a better one first try great job
Really nice review. Really in depth and consumer based, not spec based. Love Nilay.
The Verge seems to over compliment apple products, and CNET is never satisfied with anything. Techno Buffalo is still the way to go.
I'm getting the rose gold 6s+ tomorrow I'm so excited :)
how many gigs? lol
+GOD FORGIVES I DON'T 64
+Lizzie Neko omg i getting the exact same phone as you on Friday :D
+tigerskin 456 how you like it? I love mine 📱
breezy its class but they didn't have the + so i just got the small 1 but it fits in my hand nicely :)
I am still on the fence about iPhone 6s vs 6s plus- it just sucks... Period I don't want the screen size but I want the options
Jenn Harper go for the plus. You will get used to it very quickly. I have used both.
Wow, it's really cool that you guys got the phone to float like that.
"The iPhone has always taken the best and most natural photes of all phones"... No. The six was beaten hardcore by the galaxy s6 and LG G4. Even the Lumias do a better job, they are just slower.
What's the game at 3:20 pls :) ?
Punch Quest. It's fun, but got kinda old for me after a bit. Not a ton of depth.
+Tom Connors Thanks a lot !
+Tom Connors Was the depth part a pun?
I bought the 16gb one cause i don't still that much apps
Yeah the 128 is too expensive so I got 16 or 64 :( but it's still gonna be awesome!
Your grammar is quite horrid.
+BuyTheTicket TakeTheRide Agreed
Very proud to say that I will be the owner of an iPhone 6s in two weeks. And I'm coming from an all Android background as it's all I've ever owned. But as of late, they have been pissing me off to no end and it's time for a true upgrade. Androids have a very short shelf-life and I need a phone that will last. I've seen people still using Apple products from years and years ago, still going strong. It's that reliability and simplicity that I desire in a phone I use every single day.
Awesome review - Awesome video production/quality.
Eh...too pricey for what it does, I'm waiting for the Nexus 5X :)
I am sending this message from internet explorer..hope it reaches on time. Happy new year 2007.
Wow youvl are early it's still 2005 here😊
I am from the future,
How are you enjoying your Moto Razr?
If I were you I'd invest into Apple because in just two years Apple will release their very first cellphone and it's gonna change everything!
not sure if this message is going to be received but worth a try today I picked up a weird signal here in Los Angeles, California 2036 where president Justin bieber just declared nuclear war against china over Chinese food being banned in the US by president Donald trump early 2022 more than half of north America is gone and nuked please help.
Just got mine today, so far I love it.
I just got my iPhone 6s Plus today and so far I love it 👌
Gaming on my 6s plus is so good , especially nba games
I love mines. Especially playing games lik bo zombies
the phone is good but 4k and 16gb do not mix
I still have my iphone 4 lol
me to m8
I'm just gonna get the plus and stop with the iphones
getting one next week and this for sure made me more positive about my decision. thanks for sharing.
I bought SGS2 on launch, got the Iphone 5s the same day it came out two years later and Im never going back to android again and I used to be a big android fanboy.
"up until just a few weeks ago, the iphone 6 was the best phone ever" ????? lg g4??? note 5 ????
No
+Natalie Lawes LG G4? You have got to be kidding me. Its apiece of shyte
+soleil3gs S6 and S6 Edge?
+Swift Ninja not until Samesung puts another go of ram into it so it won't slow down to a crawl
+Steven Juris true
Bye bye iPhone 5s you will be missed
eva dhupia which phone u using now
iphone 6s is the best phone ever
A few weeks ago the iPhone 6 was the best phone ever?? Wut
at the time fuck tard
+Andrew Pappas No shit. but it still wasn't the best
+AwayAnimal yes it was it had a touch screen
+Andrew Pappas lol what iphone is bad
iPhone 6 wasn't really impressive to me, even at launch.
The S models are usually far more impressive.
If you're going to review something like a phone, CUT AND CLEAN YOUR NAILS.
This was such a beautifully shot review.
this review was incredible. showed opinions on both sides. thanks so much
ima Android girl switching to the apple family =( kind of sad that I'm saying good buy to Android o we'll the iPhone seems better so =)
😢Goodbye, come back soon
same
Apple won't disappoint you
+Nora Doski lol I love my iPhone 6s so far best decision ever made
Underwhelming, even by the 'S' model standards.
I guess you don't remember the 4s lol. or 3gs.
+D0hv 3D Touch and a better camera. Wow, so incredibly substantial. Mind blown!
Not.
+LinusMLGTips which phones have 3D-Touch?
Buy the Samsung Galaxy 7S Edge instead.
+Jim Nesta Rather get aids m8. rekt360noscope#####!!!!!!11!!!
eww no one cares for Samsung lol
+sphinx onyx Then why are they doing so well in their phone sales? Fangirl denial here?
+sphinx onyx There's no doubt that the iPhone is simpler and easier to use, like the Mac OS vs Linux or Unix, and would therefore be more popular with some people. Some people don't mind the increased complexity of an Android phone, for things like greater control and choice in features and settings. Certain Android apps, like Google Maps and Google Now, function better than their iOS counterparts.
So I guess it boils down to personal preferences.
no
I will got the iPhone 6s Plus on Christmas !!! I can't wait !!!
Forget the phone, that was the best review I have seen all year amazing
my Galaxy is still better and cheaper. :)
Lol. The IPhone 6s is the "best phone ever". It's specs and software are years behind any decent android device. Apple has yet to make any major change in a device almost since it started. And not to mention Apple devices are way more expensive than pretty much any other phones, and Coke with less storage for the price.
Come*
+David Chodor well said sir bet my galaxy s5 is still wayy better than this new iphone xD
I wouldn't say years behind. I would just say other devices are years ahead. 😉
ok....
un subscribe......
what a bias channel...
Don't be mad. What was wrong with this review. It was very even.
+Ben Humphreys you call that even? saying a phone from a year ago was the best phone EVER up until he got the 6s
Kdkd' Dhdhhd ok.
I’m miss 3D Touch when I upgrade from my 7
this man is nice with these reviews like damn
