I remember when I was a kid, I was playing temple run in an arcade and I ended up gathering a small crowd. I was so focused on trying to get as many tickets as possible, plus with people watching me I felt more pressure. I think I got super close to some high score and died cause my hands got sweaty. Then the crowd collectively went "Awh, good try". Those were fun times.

When this game came out we found out about the tutorial glitch where you swiped left 3 times really fast and it turned your character around. You could run infinitely with no obstacles, I left my phone overnight and got like 5million meters

When I was younger I thought those things chasing you were demons or monsters that we have awoken within the temple, later on my cousin told me they were monkeys, but young me still sees them as monsters with skull heads.
Edit: I did re-search and they are infact demon monkeys, but I'll be completely honest, your guess is as good as mine. Gorilla with skull heads, just really weird looking monkeys, or even a full on demon, I don't mind. All I know is younger me was afraid of those things.

The resurrection wings were a glitch. I’d always die, get resurrected, play at a slower speed for a bit. Die again once the cool-down was over. Keep repeating until I got bored and eventually deleted the game.
I used to play this with my friends and I remember that no one could beat my score.

Ah, the nostalgia... I remember my tablet's battery bulged and got malfunctioned because of overcharging and continuously playing it until it's 0% due to my short-term addiction to this game. I'm still 7 y/o at that time so I overused it without a care in the world and DA-DUN! RIP tablet but I didn't felt guilty.

The nostalgia really brings me back. I remember this one tactic I learned when I was little. Appearantly, you don't have to jump over the small tree roots, just move to the side that's lowest to the ground and you're good.
Yeah, it's nice that the game gives you a choice!
there also was a glitch that if you swiped twice really quick to turn you had nothing but an infinite straight line with no obstacles. Could go as long as you wanted and to end purposely bump off the edge.
The problem is that trick won't be easy on emulators unless you have assigned them specifically for this game
@@superdude11235 But at extreme speeds, that tactic won't be even viable anymore as you'll never have time to react on it once you run too fast and start turning left or right faster as well

That is likely but it seems that most wouldn’t know who he is because Euclid’s work wasn’t in all modern fields.
There are many professionals who wouldn’t know who he. Historians, chemists, doctors, and archaeologists among others may have heard his name once in a lecture and others may have forgotten entirely, as he wasn’t very important in a particular field of study.

Showing the leaderboard wouldn’t have really helped. Only 6 people have ever submitted times for this game (also, fun fact, all 6 are faster than his run here). But this is an official category for speed running.

I used to play this a lot when I was younger, and I remember there being a scoreboard with all the top runs being the max possible score (I think there were also a few scores with negative values somehow, but that might have been another game). In reality, they just went long enough that they reached the max value the score was configured to hold, but as a kid, it made me believe that if you went long enough, you could “win.” I imagined that if you got a high enough score, you would reach the boat you must have arrived on and sail away to safety. It would have to be ludicrously high, but if there was a score threshold for that it would be cool.

A little trick I learnt when I use to play this - you jump just before you turn so you can jump over that unexpected cliff as the game gets more intense! Works wonders

SCP-6000 the temple.
This is a massive monument located deep in the jungle. While relatively easy to access, escape is a whole other matter. Once inside, treasure is seen resting on every available surface. Anyone in the the temple is drawn to pick up some of the treasure, however doing so will trigger the temples defence systems. Any creature within the temple during this time is transported to the temples separate dimension, a never ending maze of crumbling roadways, docks, and obstacles. Anyone in this dimension is pursued throughout it by incredibly hostile ape-like creatures dubbed SCP-6000 B. SCP-6000 A is the temple itself. MTF Alpha 6, Lost Crusaders, has set up a perimeter around SCP-6000 and discourages explorers away, citing that a nuclear reactor in the area has melted down. There is currently no known way to escape the temples dimension.
