I love that Zac isn't even trying to guess the others' identities, but just trying to make them laugh
I mean, he was eliminated first round, so he is just playing for fun at this point.

Ok. The random guy is the rat fish. His name is Eric. I..literally don't know where they found this man lol. I don't know if any of them know him. He played Steven the snake. He....was pretty random lol. I didn't feel strongly about him but he was very different from the rest of the cast and not a comedian

Ratfish was one of my all time favourite games on Game Changer and I really hope it becomes a Game Samer like Sam Says!!
I feel like if they ever did Ratfish again it would be another season finale, like how they did Survivor as a season finale and then did Survivor the next season’s finale, just more expanded upon.
I ADORED this concept! But did you see the behind the scenes video about it?? They had to rent an entire hotel floor, which they decorated all the cast’s rooms in and had empty rooms between them, and they got reality tv film crew for this. Probably a bit too big budget to do again off site
I am SHOCKED that everyone didn't immediately clock Ally after the "Stand your ground" joke. This is the person who made approximately 1200 "stop the steal jokes" at the end of FH junior year
Spoilers ahead;
Fantastic episode but fairly disappointing finale imo. I hated that the ratfish basically chose both of the winners and feel like both Rekha and Zac were stolen of their deserved wins. Rekha geniusly guessed all the players correctly one round prior to anyone else could and Ratfish's preference of a gift decided the win instead of that. Zac also has been putting on far more effort to his jokes than anyone else and always managing to become absolutely hilarious while doing so.
I think it should have been at least so that every player plus ratfish voted for the funniest player. It really makes no sense to me that Ratfish decided who is the funniest player while everyone else was also a part of it and could have voted.
Anyway, everyone from the cast members has still done a fantastic job, each had their funny moments and clever plays
The Ratfish was also very cringe. It’s like the episode stopped every time he was on screen.
@@jamespryor5967 Agreed, it felt like his humor was more for "prepped staged" kinda humor rather than on the spot humor. And then there was also the cast, just not meeting him too.

Yeah I know he is a comedian like had done his own shows but it was evident even the cast didn’t jive with the comedy he displayed too, they all kept making comments like okayyyy Stephen idk about that etc
Yeah, don't get me wrong I love Ally to pieces, but the repeated favorite for every round felt...off? Jess was an INCREDIBLE out of left field powerhouse to me (but ofc Zac was my favorite because the character dedication was so strong), so having a comedian who I wasn't familiar with come on to the show and not...actually be all that funny but clearly trying for bits (that imho fell flat) wasn't the finale I had been hoping for.
Rekha was so robbed, but it didn't feel like a Gamechanger rob because at least those are fun to watch. Katie put in a lot of work and I respect that, but damn. The cast were all so fun to watch, and it was fun seeing how their bits became love letters to their castmates. So at least there was that to enjoy!
Zac pulling the gold out of the rare miss of an episode. So close to greatness, but the Ratfish managed to ruin it. Especially with the ending. Felt like everything they actually did for two episodes was for nothing, and the actual person...should stick to scripted comedy, as I would've thought this was an uncle or old roommate pulling a favor with Sam. Never would've suspected he was a comedian otherwise, like I recognized the show name but just left wondering why they chose him. Nothing wrong with scripted stuff of course, but this is improv and his abilities absolutely did not mesh with the format or other contestants.

the ratfish had a pretty strong character concept and it’s unfortunate he leaned into random humor so much. i cant think of a time the cast laughed at his jokes other than his introduction.
I love you guys so i hope this doesnt come off as mean, but i didn't like the inclusion of the ratfish. It just didn't play off the cast well, and the decisions at the end were very frustrating.
Yeah I didn't find him particularly funny and it was just like "who is this guy and why do we care about his opinion"
Yeah, and every single round just being random instead of maintaining character, then going "No I like the one who's actively tanking to try to poke fun at their friend" (no shade, Beardsley is a brilliant troll) without once recognising that graNma, Landlord or Adjustable Side Table were writing great in-character comedy, really made it feel like he didn't respect anyone there.

This really shows off everyone's comedic style. It really shows why all of them are really amazing as improvers & comedians. This whole episode was amazing and I cant eait to see more! 😂❤️
The "Ratfish" was extremely cringey and ruined what would've otherwise been a perfect episode. Everytime they showed up on screen I just groaned and wanted to get back to the rest of them
Yeah, same. The Ratfish didn’t get a single laugh out of me. Legit was a detriment to the episode.
He does better from scripted, on stage humor rather then actual on the spot comedy so it definitely felt very stale and off with him; also I too did not laugh by him, sadly. 😭
I just wish they had someone else as the "ratfish" next tike that compliments the cat's humor as well

@@contentity also iirc there were a lot of correct guesses after that round. Kinda gave me the impression that while they've been kinda fooling around up until that point, the way they did comedy/stand-up was really clearly specific player for everyone else. Like, signature humor leaking through the persona.
They'd just revealed who the contestants were IIRC. He had a couple pinned down and off the remaining list seemed most likely Zac. They' know each other's styles quite a while after all.

Am I the only one that found these last two episodes to be incredibly boring? I kept waiting for the point, and it was just... cuts to them sitting alone and chatting?
i think it’s funnier if you’re very familiar with the show it’s parodying- the circle (a show about meeting and getting to know the other people, hence the excessive chatting) they followed a lot of the typical plot points of the show and I could defo see why it seemed boring if you didnt have prior knowledge of what would probably come next

I felt bad for Brennan in this one, and some of the other ones where people take shots at him. I get it, he's a comedy performer, but it seems like there's a grain of "I hate this" in his complaints. Nobody really enjoys being the butt of the joke. I'm gathering he's *actually* sick of the bird jokes, based on some of his reactions, for instance.
