  • 3 years for another solo album. And it was worth it (imho at least).
    Her lows here are really strong especially her E3s! She also used her head voice and falsetto a bit here but they sounded sweet! Her belts are strong but a lot of them are so raspy at B4 and above :(. Overall she did great but I wished she showed more range here :/.
    Notice: The clips with the Angel Down (Work Tape) fucked up on me so that's why there's some silence at parts in the video.

    There where places where she could've used some more HV, but at least she's using it now.
    Really liked the album

    I feel like i can hear some higher head notes during the bridge of John Wayne, in the background, but it is hard to hear it, has anybody noticed it too ?

    She can support her E3 since so long of course it's strong. Her support is around Eb3-D5-G#5. But yeah she's a bit hars sometimes, but in Cheek to Cheek era i can see some nice Eb5 tho. Her head voice is nice but she's not that comfortable to use it but she's trying to show it more often now, as far as i know she also didn't use it for stylistic reason. And you know? She also try to show runs now in this album era and that's good. She's a great singer but just not always 100% technique, she sometimes more choose to be more stylistic.
    Could it be caused by smoking that her voice a bit like what u said?

      You were super close with her support range. It’s actually D3-D5-A5

    I hear you out on her not having as much range as she usually would, but she's usually singing a lot and having a lot of different range on her albums. It could be another direction she meant to go in because she did want to be more down-to-earth with her album.

    Anybody else notice that she kept this album super close to her support range D3-D5-A5.

    Lows bellow D3 sound so bad which is weird since she has very good C3's in her previous pop album :( I like the D3's a lot though and her other lows slay as always, SO DAMN MANY F#3's 0.o her belts are very Rihanna-ish on some notes, a lot of power though. Her falsetto/HV isn't well explored as always and she had some runs that were urgh, delicious. But musically it's her worst album in my opinion. And I actually love diffrent genres this was just messy as hell though and doesen't even feel like a Gaga album.

      Love 2 Love Brit I feel like the raspiness on the belts is more intentional since we all know her technique is great and I feel like the rasp in cause it has a raw sound and this is a personal album ig and I was hoping she'd go higher with her HV/falsetto but oh well

    • @love2lovebrit497
      @love2lovebrit497 7 лет назад +1

      galaxyseal The rasp also may be caused by drugs and alcohol (Idk if she does drugs though)

      I don't know but hopefully not cause she supports Eb3/E3 - D5 and I don't want her losing that especially after all the coaching akdkadakskdfk

    By the way, could somebody tell me what is wrong with her technique this era ? She sounds so uncomfortable singing live and kinda struggles with it + she is not even resonant and kinda throathy :/

    • @lucasiglesias1894
      @lucasiglesias1894 7 лет назад +11

      It´s on purpose, she sounded great at her New York dive bar stop, and her head notes are still clean

    • @paws8403
      @paws8403 7 лет назад +2

      Maybe she's just being stylistic you know Gaga is not always a 100% technique. But i also afraid that this will effect her as bad habits and makes her regress. I'm so happy that so far she can support around Eb3-D5-G#5 and i hope she will improve her mix and more comfortable with her Head Voice. And i thought she'll do it in this album. But who knows?

      Rizki Pawira her live head voice still sounds nice live, and she minimizes the grunting live, and it sounds healthier.

      you mean like voice types ? for women : Soprano-Mezzosoprano-Contralto

    • @lucasiglesias1894
      @lucasiglesias1894 7 лет назад

      If you mean registers then:
      Chest Voice - Mixed Voice - Head Voice/Falsetto

      I mean what is the highest range like what is c3 a3 f# ect.

    • @lucasiglesias1894
      @lucasiglesias1894 7 лет назад

      John Schiebe they are notes, the letter is the name and the number is the octave, a C3 is two octaves lower than a C5

    • @paws8403
      @paws8403 7 лет назад

      it's the notes. the key and the octave. C3 means a note in 3rd octave C (Do)

    Why she always sings from her nose? Her voice sounds far more nasally than it was on The Fame/BTW.

    • @paws8403
      @paws8403 7 лет назад +7

      sometimes for stylistic sometimes yes she's nasal. it's not a harm tho as long you can control and not always being nasal. at least she's not the real nasal singer, i mean she can sing without being nasal and her belt is rarely nasal, it's oftenly resonance

    • @mylord9395

      When you have to phrase belts like high c or something but still wanna make it chest you project your voice upwards. Its not mixing its just a heady placement but it helps. While sustaining high belts you keep it to your mouth. I think its just musicality and not a wrong technique
