I'm still amazed by how well the freshmen are doing. K.K., Nika, and Aaliyah were awesome with their hustle steals for run-out layups. Even with that and a few 3pt shots, overall shooting wasn't that impressive. The game was rough at times, but I think maybe the refs are getting tense, knowing the tournaments are coming very soon. Good movement, passing, cutting, great defense, lots of things, but shooting needs to finish, or it's for nothing. It was really nice to see the team with Inesh, Qadence, and Ice, Nika, and K.K. They were also playing well, except for dismal shooting. It's a team thing and can be fixed as a team thing.
You left out Paige. 17 points by halftime!

So far this season uconn hasn't showed me anything that I feared before the season began. So the ncaa have no idea what will happen.

Sick and tired of hearing "Big East is a weak conference; bad conference; terrible conference etc etc etc" Ok, we've all got it. Weak, stupid, nothing conference. Got it. Then wouldn't we expect UConn to go undefeated in the conference? Look, is this team an NCAA title team, no. BUT, the 11 NCAA titles UConn has won was when they were in a WEAK, BAD, TERRIBLE conference (Big East and the AAC, or whatever that conference was) So shut up already about the Big East; we all KNOW it's not the SEC, the this, the that... it is what it is. Just think how much all you would wail and moan about UConn if they lost 5 games in this conference. UConn did what they are supposed to do in this conference, and that is beat up on all the rest of the teams. Now, when they lose in the NCAA tourney, then go ahead, "Well, they play in a weak conference."
the BIG EAST has a winning record against all the other conferance. uconn has a winning record against all the other so-call power conferance

oh man, that would be terrific. I don't know what the situation is with available roster positions is though. I'd love to see Amari Deberry give up her spot on the team but I suspect that would mean losing her scholarship money.
NIL doesnt mean college exclusively, that deal would carry over to the WNBA on top of her WNBA salary.
I believe it is a Canadian deal, if that matters. She is on our national team.

Big east is a bad conference, looks like they're playing against a high team. If UConn played in the SEC,PAC,SEC or ACC would they conference champs?
No, they wouldn't. Name me any top team that could lose 5 strong players and still be conference champs.
- If they had all the injured players (healthy) I'd say they could be conference champs. They might have 2-3 conference losses on the year, but they'd be a handful for any team.
