- The summer slideshow has finally arrived on all platforms. With the introduction to objective mode Tripwire has given the base maps some story with lore surrounding them.

Zed Landing Objective has you taking up a job to gather and retrieve data to investigate the crash on the island to find out what Horzine has been hiding with the assistance of Dr. Ogada Buyu.
In this Objective map I run with SWAT starting with reworked skill Battering Ram for this update. In Battering Ram's previous state, it was borderline useless and was considered a waste of a 25 perk skill it offered nothing reliable. But it's rework has buffed it tremendously nearly rivaling Rapid Assault in terms of utility. When ZED time triggers, you move in real time and anything that comes into contact with you dies or gets knocked down clearing the way for you and your team. But is it worth picking over Rapid Assault? It depends. Battering Ram is very situational and potentially could ruin set ups for other perks if you're not careful. While Rapid Assault is always reliable in the right circumstances. The only advantage Battering Ram has over Rapid Assault is it's ability to clear anything in it's path effortlessly getting your team out of a pinch for kiting. Overall I really liked the buff It's just what SWAT needed. Thanks for watching!

So I see the new Battering Ram lvl 25 perk is pretty awesome (finally). Awesome gameplay dude, I love that I can also learn new strategies and tricks as well as watching awesome runs.

man I try this on suicidal and the freaking drone gets gangbanged every time, and I either protect myself or the drone, I cant get past that wave...

loganthomas03 they’re a game studio with a dead player base that gives a ton of free content, the ONLY thing they’re making people pay for is new weaponry. It’s the only way they have of being able to still support the game

that pilot has to be blind. irl flares are so damn bright you can go blind if you lokk at them for too long. (and yes this is a ranty comment and has almost nothing to do with the video)

I've noticed headshots don't matter during boss shield phases (King FP, not 100% sure about Hans), so I'd say concentrate on landing every hit, through body shots (even arms/metal parts shots count as full damage), so going for headshots is counterproductive IMHO.

Yeah,the crosshair is disabled by default in this game. You can enable it in the gameplay settings.

I guess it's late but some players using 2 attack binds( left mouse and any other button on keyboard ) so you can shoot those kind of weapons faster, so i guess this is what he did here

I love this game but it would be so sick if they added killing blows similar to how DOOM gives you the option to preform different finishers to your enemies once they're weak

I'm surprised at the usefulness of battering ram in this video. Seems like sometimes it kills zeds instead of just knocking them over. I thought the other zed time skill was supposed to be far superior.
EDIT: After watching the video, my best guess is that the objectives make battering ram much more viable. Being constantly in transit rather than just worrying about killing zeds means sometimes a quick getaway is key. Especially when there is heavy stuff to carry like the h-pads.
Battering ram is now more viable because it was buffed - it does 400 blunt damage when you run into zeds, before when there was no damage you would reach the engine max knockdown of 5 very quickly making the skill near useless outside of a few very niche situations, but now you kill trash its not half bad.

Welder is accessible as a weapon in the inventory, this option can be enabled in gameplay settings
For the members of the Killing Floor 2 community, is it worth it to prestige? Or is it only for looks?
It gives you prestige skins and bonus xp toward perk each prestige

Honestly it's not really worth it, but I still do it because I maxed out all my perks to 25 a long time ago and it felt boring having no progression. Also the icons you get are pretty cool.

Sucks tripwire didn't make the objectives diverse. Copy and paste stuff is annoying. They to busy worrying about what goofy skin to make than fixing the modes on this game. The only thing about it is that the servers are always full for about a month. Till it slowly dies down again .
