I want it too due to its mechanical jogwheels but I will stick to my cdj800mk2 and djm700k, old gears but needed a soundcard to be able to hook up to the laptop.
Thanks for including Traktor! Personally I think the Z1 / F1 combo or Z1 / x1 mk II combo deserve honorable mentions because it gives someone a reason to use Traktor instead of Serato or recordbox. The combo is very portable and each 1 series comes with a $50 credit towards the $99 cost of the full pro license
Z1 and F1 (or X1) combo is great, but doesn't qualify for the topic of this video. But yeah, I can't help but keep rooting for Traktor! My heart keeps waiting for them to release some kind of amazing Kontrol Z4 mixer.
@@PassionateDJ Allen & Heath has the four channel Traktor mixer locked down already and my discontinued Xone 43C is probably sonically better than any theoretical Z4 could be. Please note I am now pairing the 43C with a set of D2s to have a complete set of discontinued but not obsolete DJ gear. The S3 at $549 msrp is just slightly above your definition of the category but hopefully in future years you can increase the maximum price slightly to include both the S3 and the FLX6 GT. Personally rank S3 > Z1/F1 combo > S2 mk 3

This review is totally useless. What's the point of describing features anyone can see by looking at each product website? If you wanna be useful, you should empirically test each controller, make a list of pros and cons, as well as provide us with a comparison table of acriale performance features.
Well. It’s not a review, it’s a comparison guide. You’re welcome to check the individual reviews of these controllers where I go more in depth. You’re describing a 3 hour video.
Surprised there wasn't a impulse 500 how does that compare to the flx 4?
love the flx4, clean look
Which one would u recommend? The traktor S2 Mk3 or the Numark Mixtrack platinum fx?
Mixtrack platinum fx with VDJ... solid
The Dj controller I really want is the DDJ 1000srt

What would you recommend for a controller with XLR outputs and Serato Pro...
Really appreciate your input 👍
Much blessings 🙌

Hi does the numark have a slicer function on the pads?
great info, however you forgot the Numark NS4FX , here is under 500 Euro/USD
Anywhere that actually has it listed and in-stock has it for $549 US.
BUT, yes, a great option (if you can find it).

What would you choose between a new Reloop Ready and an old Traktor S4 Mk2?
Dope video bro. I bought the DDJ-REV1 when it first came out but i would've got the FLX4 if i had waited longer 😅
Thanks for watching! And hey, don’t feel too bad… REV1 is solid!
Just got my flx4 from being on backorder. Anyone available for some free lessons i know i could use 1
how was the flx4 for you? thinking of getting one
Mixars Primo is the best by a long shot

@@PassionateDJ maybe you are right, I should have missed something. Sorry for that.
