Ain't no way after all these years ! I remember I was following you for mk7 glitches you were sooo good, thank you for making my childhood better and for participating in unforgettable memories :D
I'm so happy to see more videos from an acoustic Janko owner! The few who are lucky enough to have one seem to mostly keep it to themselves, making a few videos and then disappearing. This is also one of the only videos on the internet that gives an overview of the Janko layout concept.
Happy to hear you liked the video! Unfortunately I don't own this acoustic piano, but I was glad to get the chance to play it! I've since built my own piggyback for an electric piano, which is how I plan on continuing to produce Jankó-content :)
If you could have 24 pedals at the feet to lower or raise each of the 12 notes a comma via a fretting mechnism inside, it would be ideal; then you could play in Pythagorean just iontonation and modulate anywhere, and with ergonomics better than a conventional piano. Also, is this a new instrument? Are people making pianos with this layout again?
It's basically a piano that gives you a heart attack when you first see it but allows you to play any piece of music in any key. :) (Plus you get to play larger chords because the keys are arranged more efficiently, without the empty space between E&F and B&C)

Yes, Reinert (this brand in the video) and Haessler have made a few modern Janko keyboards since the last several years.
Sounds like piano with extra steps
