do you have a "top 10 list" for 2019 yet?
U do realize that joe already confirmed, he has an investment but all product decisions were made by Alex and his team, try to get ur facts right
Just signed up @robin James. Have you tried the pacinos range. Matte, clay, pomade, creame wax. I use the matte. My hair is the same length as @alex Costa hair. And it does hold well but does not make it look like you got a handful of gel on it. You can still run you’re fingers through it. Try it out and let us know what u think
can you compare the hold and duration of this product to those of blumaan cavalier clay?
What's the name of your glasses?
Thx for the review, Robin! I wear this product every day, and it took me 2 years to develop, so I stand by it! It won't work for everyone's hair, and that's fine, but for those with thick, unruly hair that want max hold, this is it. We've tested hundreds and haven't found anything that works better than the Forte Clay. Having said that, we're coming out with other products for other hair types too, so that's super exciting 😎Thanks again for checking out the Forte Clay - we'll send you the new ones when they're ready 💪
I will buy it just to support Alex! I have been watching Alex since 120K! Alex if you're reading this, keep growing, learning, and wish you success!💪💥
You're a great guy, Alex. You remind me a bit of my older cousin whom I've always looked up to (he's one year younger than you, while I'm one year younger than Joe from Blumaan).
With that being said, this seems very biased. "We've tested hundreds and haven't found anything that works better than Forte Clay". Yeah, haven't heard that statement before, and it's also very vague; how does it work better? If we're talking about hold, then I haven't really had any problems with products like Hanz de Fuko Claymation or Cavalier Clay (or some hair products that aren't clays), and Da Wax seems to be described as the product with the best hold even though I haven't tried it. If we're talking about ingredients, then the ingredients listed here sounded quite basic, and I'm already satisfied with Cavalier Clay in addition to being more tempted to try the products from O'Douds, Fatboy, Kevin Murphy, or By Vilain (the latter genuinely showing great results when it's been featured on "brand battle"). Nourishing hair? Well, I've already been satisfied with some products from my own country (Norway). The packaging and even the name of Forte didn't really catch my attention either; I actually think American Crew and Axe/Lynx do a better job even though I'm not a huge fan of their actual products.
So all in all, you're a wonderful guy, Alex, but I'm not entirely convinced to buy this yet
your supporter since 200K bro. Doesnt matter what other says forte series and the black lether jacket from your clothing line is fire 🔥❤
robin should pin this cuz some dude said you deleted your comment
Bro your the best 😎😎😎😎😎😎
I love it that you are completely unbiased
How it should be!
Robin James yessiirrrr
I love your honest reviews like always because you keep it real. Keep being you.
Thanks Brian.
I can fill you in on the Alex/ ByBluMaan relation. We initially invested in the startup/ manufacturing portion. There's a lot that happened since the early days of figuring out how to help and where we ended. Long story short - our PD department (product development) assisted Alex with the creation. ALL creative direction in terms of product itself was done so by Alex. The byblumaan team helped with the sample creations and Alex gave direction for improvements/changes. I stated in one of my haircut vids where I showcased his product saying I have a small (and I mean really small) investment in the company. Things have pretty much split ways in terms of byblumaan's involvement in the future of the hairproduct company other than help from PD side which might be changing as well. NOTE - I'm writing this comment at 2:05 where you mentioned the rumors so I haven't watched the review yet. Basically, we helped to bring Alex up to speed on running a hair product company which is still in the early days. hope this helps!
what would the best products to texture fine hair be?
Nothing but complements for this review. This type of content is exactly why I'm a subscriber. Thanks for all you do Robin!
I'm really loving the laid-back and comedic style of these videos right now
So very happy to finally see your full review! 👍🏼
By 40 I swear you'd be a DILF
I'm down for that!
THIS is why Robin is my most trusted RUclipsr, a genuinely honest review that isn’t just a paid-for ad dressed up as something else
Thanks for the honest review! You're the reviewer I trust.
Hi Robin thank you again for staying real! I normally don't comment on videos but just reaching out to tell you it's appreciated!
Thank you. I appreciate you saying so.
Great video! love the honest review! I bought this product a couple weeks ago and have absolutely loved it! works really well with my hair. I'm currently rocking a shorter side part and it has given all day hold (even after going to the gym or playing sports), a natural shine (i usually hate shine products but this one is good), and it washes out really easy and doesn't try out my hair or scalp in the cold Canadian weather.
I still have so much hair product that can last me two years when used right.... But I still want to try more products 😂
Ha ha! Yep, me too!
@@ManForHimself 😁🍻💚
Thanks for the review, Robin. I'm an Odouds kinda guy myself. I've been using their matte paste for a month now and I don't think I'll ever use anything else, haha🤷♂️ Love that stuff
Keep doing what you’re doing!
Great review thanks Robin 👍
Thanks Warren.
Great one Robin! Always speaking truth
Thank you!
I am really new at trying (decent) hair products - your channel is fantastic and love the content that you provide us - I love Alex costas channel and I bought a tub of this about a month ago - I didn’t know what to expect as it’s the most I’ve spent on a hair product - once the pre-styler is in, and the product goes it, the hold is fantastic but I agree - it’s a low shine, and completely matte is what I was after - I think I will take a look at the moroccanoil product you reviewed as that looks a bit more up my street, thanks robin 👍
Glad you like the moroccanoil texture clay. I knew it would be perfect for someone with your hairtype.
thanks, great review
Notifications have done me well once again, excited so much for this.
After watching I NEED to know more about the product you mentioned is in your hair during this video!
Yay!
Hey Robin, nice video as always.
Would love to see you doing a review or overhyped on Ascend Volume Cream by Bluuman, since you have fine hair (like me) and your reviews are so well done.
Coming up!
Very detailed and honest review. It is so easy to bash an product from an well known influencer. But instead of that Robin always tries to give us enough information so we can decide ourselfs it is worth to try or not.
Hey Robin, I really enjoy your videos. I have the exact same hair as yours. You have helped me greatly because Alpha, Alex, and bluu man all have different hair than ours. So your videos are more relatable. What exact products should I use to get your exact hairstyle?
Loved the review. I wanted to comment on Street styled, but your hair has looked beyond great these past few videos, guess it has to do with the Moroccanoil Texture Clay!
Love your content robin!
Thanks!
Hi Robin.
You should do a review of Stickmore Styling Cream. Would love to see it.
"Frosted plastic black lid actually fine"
I like how you say it, kind a pfftttt😁
Ha ha!
Robin really keeps these products honest. Didn’t believe him about Blumaan Original back in the day and he was spot on. Definitely taking your word for it and passing this time
Top review.
Is there potentially a range of Robin James hair products on the horizon?
I totally agree with your review
Great video Robin keep going⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Thank you.
How are you Robin? I was wondering if you had any recommendations on the best product for a textured fringe, providing texture and a matte finish that can work for fine hair?
It Looks Great on Alex's Hair 👍 I want a comparison with Pete & Pedro which works great with my long hair & I get great recovery when it gets too messy 👍 Also CHEERS for da Long Hombre tip for last summer Robin 👍
keep it up Robin! Cheers! 🤙🏻
Cheers Jonathan!
when you get a haircut what do you ask for on the top? do you ask for it to be layered or feathered or anything?
Superb
Thanks!
Would love it if you could try cremo products. I've been using their styling clay for about 3 months now and have been blown away by the quality. They're available in the US. I hope you wont get milked to get your hands on it in the UK though.
I have fine soft hair.... Will this give me a great hold?????
Hey Robin are you ripping out hair when Styling with this product or in general with any product?
You should review Reuzel Extreme Hold Matte Pomade!
Great video as always, Robin!
Do you recommend it?
I have somewhat of a request for you, could you find the time to do a hairstyle review on morrissey and his many decades now of different quiffs, maybe rank them from worst to best. I would be much obliged if you did so.
Do you think that the moroccanoil clay does a good job with holding a little bit longer fine hair?
I like Alex but you will always be the one I follow his recommendations
Hi, would you say, this does also work well for harsh Asian hair?
Epic man
I feel like most people now a days call hair products faster a clay product, mainly cuz the word "clay" is more popular lately. And younger people know immediatly what it means.
I know it sounds weird but that product just looks like a pure wax to me.
It's pure wax, for sure.
Agreed, hair clay is advertised to younger guys as the best and most versatile product.
@@ManForHimself wax for sure
There is definitely some clay but I agree the consistency is far to waxy
What watch you wear? looks great 👍🏻
I have very fine hair and the moroccanoil texture clay has been the best product I have used that offers super great hold and texture. And the matte finish Is fantastic. If anyone with fine thin hair is struggling to find one, try this one. Hanz De Fuko Claymation was one I tried before, but this offered no hold.
Hey robin, can you tell what kind of hair product do you use? I want that kind of hairstyle ❤
Love your contents Robin.
Love from India
I live in California, so which clay style product is worthy of buying?
I’ve noticed for me that it only works good if I blow dry my hair before I apply it
Dang i wanna try this hair styling clay so freaking bad just to see if it really is not as good as Alex makes it seem in his videos... Because when he styles his own hair with it, the hold, the texture, the gloss, everything just looks amazing. But i guess you can never trust anything you see on the Internet...
Creators make products that are perfect for themselves to model. In this case, Alex made a product perfect for his thick hair, so if you have hair that is very different you shouldn't expect any similar results
i have basically the same hair type of alex and it’s not a good product
Does using this once everyday. Will it damage my hair??
Just wondering what pre-stylers you are using with the Moroccan Oil texture clay.
Do a budget brand battle.
Tigi bed head matte separation vs gatsby grunge matte
Hi Robin, can I know what product you use on your hair? This is great review because not every product suit every hair type. The founder should mentioned this product for which hair type, in my opinion heavy clay not suit for thin hair type. You can try the saloon guy product which is matt paste and matte clay. I never use but i think it will suit Robin you.
What is the full price of forties all products
Good review! Its all about marketing Robin!
Robin , could you try lavish care products?
Pls try out ENEMY, VINCERO, Manscaped ESNTLS too
( i know they aren't skin or hair care products but i trust your reviews)
hey mahn...good job
Can i use this product also for long hair?
Is this comparible to Moroconoil texture clay? or not? which one is better? because you had the moroconoil in your hand.
Hi which hairproduct do you use daily?
Thank you for another great review, Robin. People aren't lying when they say that you're one of the most honest hair product reviewers on RUclips, and I'm always skeptical towards products from well-established RUclipsrs in general, so it's good to have you here. Granted that I've bought the styling meraki and cavalier clay from Blumaan and watched a good amount of his videos, but he's in the grey area of whether I trust him or not, and it's his personality that I enjoy more than his information (I also needed to watch several reviews and check up on the ingredients before I decided to buy his products). I've also tried the Pete and Pedro putty from Alpha M. and been very satisfied, but I haven't bothered trying his other products and also think that the putty is nothing very special anymore (the putty was the first hair product I tried that wasn't just your average hair product on the high street, but my hair has come a long way since)
Based on the information given here, it sounds like Forte is just your average "heavy hold" clay with nothing special about it either. I might check out some By Vilain products in the future though since the reviews on this channel (and other channels) have been positive, and also because Emil and Rasmus seem like very nice and professional guys.
Thanks for the nice words about slikhaar and By Vilain, we love what we do and after 10 years of selling hairproducts, we are still here. If you have questions for anything, we have 24hour answers on our support mail. Best Regards Rasmus & Slikhaar team
@@slikhaartv
Wow, didn't expect an actual response from you guys, but that's exactly what I'm talking about. I will definitely check it out some time
Greetings from Norway! 😀
Have you tried the bumble and bumble thickening go big treatment spray? Maybe at video on that?
How many price this product?
When does the giveaway end? Also, is the shipping worldwide? Even if the winner comes from a Europian country for example?
I have somewhat of a hybrid between thick and thin hair.. and using Forte has worked for me so far. I like the texture and hold it gives on my hair. I once slept with the product still in my hair and I woke up with my hair mostly looking the same. I guess this product isn’t for everybody.
Please explain to me what a hybrid between thick and thin hair is 😂 isn't that just called medium?
Mason Johnson As in its thick hair that I get thinned down.. the frontal is thin and towards the middle it’s kinda thick and wavy
Always can trust that Robin is going to give his honest review. Great job man!
Robin James - ”Its not for fine hair. Hello thats me!” Huh i wonder why its not working....
Bro I am Bangladeshi I don't understand English please tell me these product is best in my hair????? can I buy this product????
How does it compare to cavalier clay by blumaan?
Finally!!!!!
It's here!
Thanks Robin
Always welcome.
I mean if we're being honest it's a pretty not great product. Kinda reeks of a really famous youtuber slapping their name on something, knowing loyal fans will buy it. If washability is the great selling point, you know you're in trouble. Nothing against Alex tho, maybe it suits his hair perfectly and that's why he decided to market it.
All is fair in love and hair products. I know some people really enjoy using this but just not for me!
Bro don’t be such a headass, it’s used for a hair type that’s wavy or curly and thick like Alex’s hair. It’s the best product I’ve seen out on the market and it’s definitely better than claymation. Although I don’t blame robin he has thin straight hair, which sucks for most clays in general
@@mariog1490 do you people still use claymation as a reference?
@@tallglassofh2o931 By Blumaan was outdated before they even sold their first product IMO.
henry.hng since ur being gay about it I also think it’s better than cavalier, but honestly ocean clay is probably the best. Again the price is definitely making this worth it
is there any product with high shine with bentonite?
Where's the yellow sweatshirt from Robin?
Great vid
That was a very quick watch!
does anyone know what brand the glasses he was wearing in the hold part of the video ??
Hey Robin,
Would love to see a review on Hanz De Fukos new product line “Two Ton Stying Cream & Pomade”
Thanks :)
YES! Been waiting for thissss!
My hair isn't quite thick but it isn't thin. I really like this product for my hair, however I always find it better when I use a tonic, hair elixir or oil before I blow dry and style with it.
I use it daily and my hair feels soft, but I most say that this review is dead honest. It does get a bit strands, but for me personally it's ok because I like messing with my hair and my girl is always playing with my hair to mess with me
For those who get this product:
My friend tried and didn't like it, but he has really thin and brittle hair. Before using this product my hair was dry and brittle but I didn't take care of it, as I used the clay I did pay more attention to my hair health and it has been working better for me every time I use a hair oil and the product
I love that very Alex feel....
honesty 10/10
Think This Was Specifically Made For Alex Then He sells it to everyone and if it works for you it works if it doesn’t well looks like your out of 25$
Hey I've seen people mix a bit of liquid prestyler into a dab of a dry hair product.. would love some tips
I like this. I will try!
my man speak the truth my brother...!!!
this video made my choice, moroccanoil textura clay all the tay!
I have a question. Why does my hair always look, feel, and even stay up so much better at night when it’s been styled for an entire day? Like I’d think it would look rly good in the morning instead of at night. Why is that I’m so confused
This is quite of a simple but confusing question.. due to the fact that it could be many things . Such as your hair product.. some hair products take hours for it to set to its finest form .. and also the sun plays a huge role .. if you're outside , the sun will melt your hair product such as wax or clay and so on ... your hair has better hold at night time because the weather is much colder ... put it this way, a lot of people ( including myself) hair dry our hair for high volume and then after we are happy with the results , we (i) change it into the cold setting and that cold setting will set and lock your hair in place ... so basically, that's what happens at night time but nature does the work for you ... short story short , this happens because of the weather of your environment .... hope this helps!(:
noob master69 ok thank yoy
Could you use this on an eboy curtain cut
I really wanna know Alex’s reaction after he watched this video
can you do a review of shakeup cosmectics ?
Can anyone tell me about claymation?
How does beeswax compare to petrolatum in terms of washing out ability? Id be very interested in your answer Robin
Actually a little harder, but beeswax is MUCH better for your hair and you can ask yourself if you really need to get everything out.
Please review Dauntless
