High school was fun for me , some days were not but i graduated high school sadly. Because my 2 best friends betrayed me and our friendships ended badly. They thre at me the chocolate chip cookies and brownies that I've baked for them for the first time as my graduation gift for them. It was too much and my first BF broke up with me. It was so bad to the point I haven't attended high school reunions ever since. It has been 17 years (year 2005) since .We were 17- 18 yrs old back then, we are now 34 to 35 years old and we are still not in speaking terms.
I for one think you should try talking to them. If you did and they said, "no," at least you did your part and you won't have to keep wondering "what if I..."
@@joshcabebe2625 I did try when I was in college. I tried reaching them out for 3 years of my college years, I've told them maybe we can bond together during our Christmas break ,Halloween break and summer break. 3 years but all I hear are excuses and lies. Ive stopped reaching out when I was in my senior year because I was busy with my thesis and practicum. Eventually, I've made new friends, met better people and I've learned to move on. I've done my part already. I just can't force myself with people. I mean, it's now fine with me if we never speak to each other anymore. I mean, we don't even say "Hi" to each other whenever we see each other at the malls or even restaurants. Anyway, Thanks for your advice 🙂
@@1950sbaker sounds like you’re way better off… I’ve friends exactly like… still struggling with that anger. Hopefully when I get to college i can meet new, and better people for me
@@BlackOmEga_2099 I'm sure you will meet better people. Don't worry, college will also be fun but in different way than high school 👍🏻 Yeah, I've decided to cut them off permanently in my senior year in college. I've stopped exerting effort to maintain friendship with them. Honestly, I'm better off without them. I've decided to no longer attend high school reunions. No need to reopen old wounds. 👍🏻
@@1950sbaker i hope things will get better. Right now it just seems hard because the same people keep appearing in my life and act like they care, but i never hear from them and they are never around
