Very Impressive ,please explain about the role of diode module installed in electrical distribution system (excluding rectification n reverse safety switching) Only third role of diode module in typically generation mod!
Thank you for your question. We would like to know more about your inquiry before we respond. Please visit our website contact form www.ametekpds.com/contactus-/contact-us and provide us with more details on your question and aircraft application and we'll try to answer as best as possible. Thank you.
You just need to get your A&P license. Or you can either join the Air Force or Navy and get into the Electrical and Evironmental systems in the AF or the Electrical/Egress systems in the Navy. I was a Electrical and Environmental systems craftsman in the Air Force. Maintaining the Electrical systems is complex on any aircraft but it is rewarding. Going with the A&P license or joining the military will also give you collage credits towards a degree in Aviation Science/engineering.
The GCU (Generator Control Unit) controls the Starter Generator during both engine start and generation phases. 1. The GCU controls the Starter Generator (SG) to maintain a predetermined current for engine start. 2. After the engine is up to speed, it will change bus contactor states to put the starter generator in generate mode. 3. During generation, the GCU provides voltage regulation, and if 2 SGs are present, will balance the loading between them. 4. Provides protection logic for the generation system such as reverse current, over voltage, undervoltage, ground fault, over current, or short circuit. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much
What is the primary source and secondary source in aircraft .. if the sources are .. battery, generator, apu and alternator. Please tell me somebody
You're good man
Hey man can you explain the relay electrical distribution logic

Hmm... why do you have CTs in a completely DC system? Or the CTs on the sensed buses acts as magnetic amplifiers to sense DC current?
Hi barjan82, the simple answer is the CTs are there for ground fault detection.
What is the ground service bus? Does it only function when the APU is on or there is an external power supply at the airport?
Hello and thanks for watching. Ground service bus is power supplied by an external power supply at the airport.
What degree do I need to make/mantain such systems
A degree in Electrical Engineering is a good place to start.
