Deku never said that he wouldn't kill Shigaraki, just that he'd rather save him. It's like the Hawks/ Twice situation: he's gonna try and talk to him, but if push comes to shove...
The brother didn't have the stacking quirk (or stockpile quirk) that's what AFO gave him, since he was weak back (sickly) he figured he could accumulate strength over time and be useful. The quirk that the brother had was the ability to pass on quirks, which was effectively useless by itself. Very robust discussion, great reaction. Also, this information wasn't in the manga but was in the volume extra if IIRC but when Banjo said AFO tried to steal OFA twice before....he meant that he try to steal it from En (and the second time from Deku), not sure why the dialogue wasn't a bit clearer. I suppose that's when he realized that his will wasn't enough and he needed a hate "battery" to power him.
I love Deku's mindset in this episode because he's fully aware that he might have to kill Shigaraki but he still wants to give him a chance to change if he can but if he has to end him he will
I don't know if anyone said it yet, but the 4th user had the quirk for the 2nd longest. Hikage had it for 18 years. The person who had it the longest was All Might. All Might had it for 40 years.
The funniest part of this entire episode is that Touya somehow managed to set up a working TV inside a rundown mansion(Sorry CRC you've been evicted) and was just praying on Endeavor's downfall. Man was ready for the slip up. Onto the episode, Tomura has constantly been shown with butterfly imagery ever since MVA. First inside the bloody cocoon during his backstory. Then him emerging from the cocoon during the Doctor's monologue about the experiment. Now we see him with butterfly wings in the imagery. Which makes me wonder if that's symbolism of All For One. All For One is the cocoon that Tomura has to shed. The guy who groomed him up to feel hatred towards everything and everyone. The guy who is now inside his body. If he sheds away that hatred and anger, will he be Tomura? Tenko? A new being entirely? Only time will tell. There are two very interesting variables inside that scenario. Izuku and Spinner. Both have expressed wanting to help/save Tomura. Izuku wants to reach out to the little boy inside of him. Spinner wants him to be free from AFO. And I wonder how them both trying to save him in completely different ways is going to work out in the end
LOL i didn't even consider dabi working on the cable. And yeah idk if tomura can ever really go back unless we keep with the eri theory. Maybe the message can be something along the lines of making the best of the situation you are in? Like the new butterfly doesn't have to be only pain and sadness maybe? I feel like spinner would have gotten along with izuku. I think they would have been able to nerd out over knowing peoples abilities
The more I think about it…I think Mirio was skillful and powerful w/ OfA enough to end AfO before he died of old age. It would just mean sacrificing mirio effectively.
@@MagatsuUjio Nah, it's a higher chance Mirio would have died MUCH quicker, maybe even instantly because people seem to forget that AM had the power for over 40 years. That's four decades of stockpiling power that in comparison to the fourth holder was night and day.
With this we’ve reached the end of the War Aftermath Portion of the Arc, but the Crumbling of Hero Society will continue to be showcased however. We are now in the Final Saga, from here on out nothing will ever be the same again. I hope the Anime does this coming Arc justice, maybe even add to it, we’ll see.

Fun fact: "A huge villain" is one of the first thing he said in the episode of the show r

oops , thank you for correction and info!

Gotta take into account this basically Japan culture in mha. Sins of the father and whatnot is a big deal over there.
I remember reading this chapter in the manga and absolutely crying my eyes out
This made me fall in love with Deku’s character so much more
It does a great job of reminding the audience of why deku is special
I guess it's a good thing All Might never met Mirio before Deku otherwise things would've gone bad.
Exactly

@@MagatsuUjio nah that wouldn’t have worked very well either
@@MagatsuUjio absolutely not

Everyone got confused when they said Yagi. I actually forgot All might's real name was Toshinori yagi.
Been waiting for your reaction all day
o7
Huh, Uraraka was the Narrator for this one at the end there, interesting.
Kinda crazy that mirio would have been super strong with one for all + his quirk but he probably would have died in his early 20s.
The only one who died of old age was the 4th user. Everyone else has died in battle except all might and Deku. Banjo died in battle.
🔥🔥🔥
Deku is a Vigilante now.

I'm already dreading whatever bullshit will be done to redeem/save Shigaraki at the of the series 🤦🏾♂️
Dw it doesn't seem like that will happen
