The student/teacher fights happening at the same time, with All Might and Deku thinking of each other is such a hype cliffhanger, they have one of my favorite type of mentor/mentee dynamics in anime period. The writing choice to keep All Might alive was such a good call when so many writers would’ve chosen to kill All Might in s3.
Horikoshi said that Skinny Might had no sclera in his eyes because it symbolized his waning power as a hero. He still had pupils because that was the last piece of his power. When he went into his Muscle form that was the power symbolized in his eyes enveloping his entire body, which is why the muscle form didn’t have pupils. So seeing the whites of his eyes return as he maniacally laughs in the face of danger from All For One while talking about the beauty of acting in the service of others was truly Plus Ultra. And I loved the callback to the rooftop near Tatooin Station where All Might told Deku that he couldn’t be a hero without a quirk. Now All Might is defying what he said and fighting the Demon Lord without a quirk. Love it. The spirit of Prime All Might returned 🥳
Some author notes on the Iron Might suit (don't worry, it's not actual spoilers) The suit costed All Might multiple millions of dollars to a make (all of his money). This type of suit has never been made before and it was made in a rush, so it's essentially a prototype. This explains why we've never seen anyone wield this type of tech before. Also if All Might was fighting literally anyone else this suit would be so OP, but AFO gotta be annoying lmao
Alternatively, you could argue this suit is proportionally more OP against All for One in a few ways. The dude's a monster, but he's an uncreative monster that's set in his ways. And those ways focus on fighting people with QUIRKS. So many of his reflexes and habits, ingrained over centuries, are completely wrong for this fight. He's used to single powers and using his theft quirk against anyone powerful. He knows if someone's close enough to touch their doomed. His quirks are optimized to act in that way. And so on and so forth, the average opponent wouldn't have those problems. Against someone who's got so much experience fighting, and actual experience fighting HIM, those split second habits, hesitations, and corrections are big openings.
*What a way to end things off! Things have really come full circle for All Might. At the start of things, being a hero like this without a quirk wasn’t much of an option, but desperate times call for desperate measures. In a lot of ways, this suit is a symbol of the love and determination that got him to this point. And the cherry on top for me is that it apparently has Melissa’s voice.* *It’s been another roller coaster of emotions this season, but until next season, Plus Ultra.*
One thing that did help Deku overturn Nighteye's future was Eri. Eri actively rewinds while Nighteye can see into the future. That's why Deku's cut off, i think, and All Might seemed more "set in stone."
Honestly, All Might will always be the true number one hero. I don’t think any other hero has achieved THIS level of awesomeness and baddassery. Except Midoriya. This season has been a wild ride honestly
It's just a small thing. But I like that Ochako calls herself kind of weird when talking to Deku on the cliff and Deku also considers himself weird. And then both Toga and Ochako call each other weird while Toga is saving Ochako. I personally think Toga should've lived. I get that Hori was probably going for a bittersweet ending. But it does feel a little silly that Bakugo's heart seemingly gets pierced and he's getting revived because of the theme of protecting the next generation. Toga is apart of the next generation. She's basically the same age or a year older than the main cast of students. A lot of people then have the rebuttal of, "Oh, so you wanted Toga to spend the rest of life in prison?" And no. I think she should've served some time. Perhaps gotten a bit of help and a healthy alternative method for her quirk and then been shown, "You can be apart of society". I personally enjoyed a lot of MHA up until now. But this is one decision I personally disagreed with. Especially since Twice died to give the rest of his friends a happy life barely a month or so ago. Oh well. With Bakugo's bloodied All Might card on the ground, we move onto the final season of MHA
Nah. It still makes perfect thematic sense considering Toga's eventual turn to giving up her own blood and in turn her life for another as opposed to one sidedly taking away others, while Bakugo is being protected not just because he's the next generation, but because he's a hero who was important at that time(while Toga's was her connection to society and that she could not live a normal life either by her standard or society's because of bad parenting). Nobody was going to sacrifice themselves to bring Toga back to life or for any other reason but to stop her. Uraraka was the exception, and as a result would have traded her life if not for the heel turn.

Toga didn’t use Ochacos quirk that way, she touched everyone she made float, the only thing she did more was maybe the weight, but it wasn’t the same
