Its like every episode My hero never fails to amaze me and make me cry! I love this show! And i thought they said season 7 was the last but im not complaining 🤷♂️
S7 was never mentioned to be the last. Just the start of the final battle arc but they never labeled it as the "final season". The manga was still ongoing when it started. It's not the Attack on Titan situation when they said S4 was the final season, then keep adding parts to it and parts with parts. lol
Horikoshi said that Skinny Might had no sclera in his eyes because it symbolized his waning power as a hero. He still had pupils because that was the last piece of his power. When he went into his Muscle form that was the power symbolized in his eyes enveloping his entire body, which is why the muscle form didn’t have pupils.
So seeing the whites of his eyes return as he maniacally laughs in the face of danger from All For One while talking about the beauty of acting in the service of others was truly Plus Ultra.
And I loved the callback to the rooftop near Tatooin Station where All Might told Deku that he couldn’t be a hero without a quirk. Now All Might is defying what he said and fighting the Demon Lord without a quirk. Love it.
The spirit of Prime All Might returned 🥳
Season 5 was the Team A vs B and then the My Villian Academia and people were saying it was sorry. That combined with the gentle criminal and school festival part in season 4 had people talking trash but we see with Season 6 and 7 that it's all paying off. Top Tier writing
People still hated a lot of the final arc in the manga as I was seeing, having short chapters and breaks (many health related) didn't help. lol Bakugo's "death" is where many dropped off. The anime crowd is receiving this material much better and the anime adaptation has done a decent job to elevate many moments.
My Hero Academia came for our neck this season! Every single episode was peak.
I've enjoyed ALL the MY the My Hero Academia seasons.
Toga and Ochaco broke my heart.

At the start of things, being a hero like this without a quirk wasn’t much of an option, but desperate times call for desperate measures. In a lot of ways, this suit is a symbol of the love and determination that got him to this point. And the cherry on top for me is that it apparently has Melissa’s voice.*

Only 32 chapters left. This season ended on ch 398 and it's a total of 430 chapters. So the final season will only be about 1 cour (12-13 episodes max) for sure. May include a few recap episodes in the count depending on the pacing, like this season has 21 episodes of S7 and 4 recap episodes prior for the 25 episode count total.

Honestly, All Might will always be the true number one hero. I don’t think any other hero has achieved THIS level of awesomeness and baddassery. Except Midoriya. This season has been a wild ride honestly...
It's a good move to keep people wanting to come back to see All Might fight and only leave the end of season S7 to give a small sample. Starting and ending it in only 1 episode wouldn't do it justice anyway. So now there's hype going into S8 to see All Might.

Another great episode! I rushed to see it soon as popped up on my screen yesterday. I was the same way Tasha was at the end with that cliffhanger and then at the end credit scene!😂
As for everyone getting their quirks back Tasha, isn't Eri's quirk reversing him back to where he was before he has it? If that's the case, I don't think 🤔 he'd have anything left to give.
Not a big Toga fan but she had me crying. All Might had me sobbing too, especially with him flashing back to his life and thinking about Deku.

I like MVA arc in the manga, but S5 was the worse of the anime adaptation for sure. They dragged out the training arc and had some cuts to villain arc.

Mr Compress didn't die... he got medical attention and was captured in S6 as that was mentioned in the war aftermath. Actually the anime skipped a moment where Mr Compress was shown in jail so he's definitely alive.
When i look at young all might i can understand why he was chosen he like like he tries Deku on the otherhand just didn't. He quit on the dream and did the bare minimum to say he tried. He only applied to UA that's the Pinnacle of his effort before all might came along. With all might you can see a guy that's been exercising he carries himself like he has purpose and worth even in the face of a world that told him he can't do it.
All Might looks like he always been kinda big for his age naturally. It was Deku who inspired All Might again as an adult when he was losing hope and growing cynical.
12:00 I mean they fought non-stop like Naruto first fought reanimated Itachi&Nagato then Obito/Madara and Kaguya ofc they not gonna be at full power... lol and why would we need 10 episode of them fighting? That would just feel like they dragging the whole thing and they would put alot of flashbacks if they did that. Trust me it would be bad... Anyway.. I don't understand where did this come from but let's be real All might most likely gonna lose/die probably in the first episode of next season.. he barely holding it together.

Eri used up her power on Mirio so she doesn't have the amount of power to rewind All Might pre-injury. All Might got that injury close to a decade ago so that needs a lot of power to go back that far before his stomach injury.
Shigaraki took the bullets from Overhaul so the hero side never had any either, just the villain side. All Might couldn't get OFA back that way regardless though. It would just heal his body, but the quirk passed to Deku.

Remember when Hawks said that stored Quirks for AFO are external to his body affected by Rewind? That's a similar case for Allmight, the Quirk itself wasn't a part of his body originally and it exists somewhere else in the present. So, they can't Rewind Allmight's body because his body is supposed to be Quirkless and the Quirk itself exists externally in Midoriya.
