I've got one for you we recently installed this hickory hard wood flooring and this happened along the edge against the kitchen floor. can't show picture hmmm
At 8:42 you left wood debris in the area your new piece is going and made it hard to install as you were smashing the wood debris into the underlayment.
Your like the only one on yt who made a video about this!! Thank you lol
Great work! Very helpful.
Where on Earth did you get the replacement materials?
Plunge cut joint w oscillating tool, use circular saw down length, making 2 cuts, remove middle and use pry and chisel to remove side pieces.
How would you do this repair if there isn’t a subfloor?
I can’t find 1.5 in strip anywhere that doesn’t have a 1500sq ft minimum order. You have any where in mind? I need 10-20 sq ft thanks
Home improvement stores sometimes clearance boxes that bust open, are returned etc… I doubt it’ll match your floor tho …

I wish you had centered the camera so we can the full job
Yeah I was all by my onsies that day.
Can you tell me where I can buy the saw you are using in the video to cut the hardwood floor, or the name of the saw, please? Thx!
any oscillating tool should work. You can buy them at your local hardware store.
Well done!!
Thank you very much for this
Awesome. Thank you
Thank you
You're welcome
Liked looking at the tools…
good job
Awesome
Well atleast we know how to remove the old wood.....lol
I thought this was a video to show how to replace a damaged floor board not to show what tools to use 🤔
Camara is off so most of the vedio one can't see what he is doing
thanks for the info, but your camera work was not too good, maybe next time.
Just don’t hit the board directly with the hammer ! You have plenty of scrap wood to use as a buffer
It would’ve been 10 times easier and cheaper to Repair the gap in the Wood Because you will need the nailer and it’s not like that floors brand new
Dude. Really?
OMG. This works for guy looking in the window, we saw nothing😮
OUCH!!!
We cannot see nothing because your camera position did not show the work you were doing ..... too bad!
From the makers of Blair witch project camera man....
Fix your camera !
I really tried... please. Turn your audio way down and record a voice over.
A whole video and didn't even check once to see if the viewers are getting everything? A waste
