    When will the time to use or pronounce the "g/k" in one word,,

    • @simple-korean
      @simple-korean  2 года назад +5

      I said that the 'ㄱ' sound is pronounced as a 'k' sound when it is located at the beginning of the syllable. For example, '가구(furniture)' has two 'ㄱ' sounds. The 'ㄱ' in first syllable is close to the sound of 'k' in English. The 'ㄱ' in second syllable is similar to the English 'g' sound because it is located between vowels. The difference between these two sounds is recognized faster by foreigners than by native Koreans. Because the two sounds are spelled the same, Koreans do not recognize them as different sounds.

      For this reason, foreigners often write this word as "카구" when they listen to it and dictate it.

    Thank you for your work. But for me it's overloaded with academic definitions.

    • @simple-korean

      I wanted Korean learners to learn the pronunciation more accurately at first. That's why it seems to contain explanations which you feel difficult. But I hope you don't give up learning Korean. Thanks!!🥰
