@@swully-ol4lx Nassau, marina or lemans? I seen a comment on the color. The host of this channel said that it's custom, he went a bit darker than the original.
I like the fact that Shawn points out the lack of control of a mega power car. I'm totally down with that. My own car makes 440 to the tire, weighs 2700 lbs and is more than plenty. A thousand HP is a recipe to shorten your life. Nice C3 by the way. My own taste would be rallye wheels, an original steering wheel and a T56 trans - but hey, that's me, a car is never really finished.
man, that blue on red is absolutely killer!! I don't think you can go wrong with Nassau blue(which I'm pretty sure is the name of that shade of blue, it's pretty amazing), especially on these classic Corvettes! by the way, I'm gonna be at Fuel Fest this weekend with my mom, so hopefully, I'll see you there Shawn!
Love this Vette brings back memories of 1968. Was 21 my friend had a new Vette every year from 65 thru '70. 67 427 68 390 HP, 69 390HP T-top Black, silver interior with the new style side pipes, 4spd. The 69 Vette was $6300 and change brand new out the door. The 70 entered was a 454, auto trans, top with leather interior and Air Cond. This Blue Vette has alot more HP and Torque but it reminds .e of my friend Jim and cruizen in his 68 roadster back in 1968!
Damn I had the very same "76" ball on my '72 convertible's antenna lol. Not my style but it's a beautiful car. Definitely would like to see the original style exhaust pipes sticking out the back . Hope to restore mine one day with the amount of care put into this one.
Such a cool car it looks like he has been a gear head from a very young age and he kept this car close to its roots with some really tasteful upgrades ...! It launches real hard it’s neck snapping torque in that hole shot...definitely makes you smile!
BEAUTIFUL! This is how it's done! WOW! The ONLY problem with this car is that I am not in a position to buy it right now. Congratulations to the very lucky person who is able to pick this car up. It is PERFECT!
Love the Vette but idk bout the wheels. But other than that what a beautiful car. They did an awesome job building it. The blue is an amazing color on that body style too. Great work and as always awesome video. I love ur channel and it's content my brother. Thanks bro and keep up the great work on these videos. U r definitely, imo, in the top 5 of any/all car videos out there on RUclips today. I'm a big fan!! Later
Loving the old school look. Blue with red interior. Gotta have a soft top in LA!! Love to see the old school BBC and Muncie 4-speed, not your typical LS. Not obnoxiously loud, but got a nice growl. Nice cruiser with the top down. Don't have to yell. Bet those seats get hot....youch!! Should not take long to sell I would think. Love the styling of the C3 Corvettes. Went down hill after that in my opinion. Be safe and stay well.
I have a 68 c3 _427 4speed hard top, white pearl black int. Don't care for red int.,but the blue is super fine, nothing is automatic & no air, but it will walk the dog...love it ,a keeper.
Shawn I caught a clip of this one on instagram. This is one beautifully restored 68 corvette. Still one of, if not, my favorite body styles. It smoking beautiful with that red leather interior. And yes.. Like a Mattel hot wheels!
You aren’t alone on thinking C3 Corvettes were light when in fact they were pretty close in weight with steel bodied cars. The reason was all the support structure GM had to add under the fiberglass to stiffen the car. Without this the bodies flexed excessively causing cracking.
@@thehighclass64 Haha people don't realize how far OUT they stick, and as soon as you stand up after you step out of the car you instantaneously weld the back of your calf into something resembling a fresh out of the oven slice of pizza. Quite possibly the hottest thing known to man. Even worse than motorcycle headers because the pipes are larger hence a much larger burn lol.
Gotta watch that rear end… they love to snap back n forth side to side. Many a C3 have been looped around because of it. Definitely keep you on your toes! Nice job!!
I don't know if its the paint color or what. But from the sid re view it looks like there was some body mods done to it. But obviously there haven't been. Very cool look. Very sleek. I'm a big fan of the red interior against the blue paint.
I had a 71 427 with Hurst Competition Plus linkage , Hooker headers, Goodrich TA radials , it was quick, OK, my customer just got a Tesla Plaid, if you know about this car ( fastest production sedan in the world), he took me for. a ride, felt like we were shot out of a cannon.
That interior is tight! The C3 is one of the most beautiful designs ever.
Agreed on both here
And most troublesome, it was the first year for that body lots of problems but the rebuild took care of that !
Totally agree 👍🇺🇸
Thats a gorgeous blue. The early exterior bumper C3s are my favorite body style for the vette.
Looks like a hot wheels car and I love it
I was going to say the same
That blue is so beautiful on this car.
I know what you mean because it's the same blue on my 1968 Vette.👍🙂

That exhaust GROWL 😲, bad ass car!
Talk about squirrely! Damn! Shit's tight, bruh! Jeff rocks.
Absolutely stunning. And those other two cars that his family used to own! This guy knows his stuff. 👍
That red interior just pops
This guy has the right idea about classics
Wow, I love how this build ended up. It looks fantastic. This one is gonna sell fast.
It should sell really fast. Beautiful C3

Yup ALL the typical things most folks do, LS and T56 Tremec....Glad he didn't go that route tbh..
@@dieseldabz7104 I can fully respect that
Beautiful car. I think adding a 427 hood emblem would really make the car pop👍
That would be a cool touch
I like the shaved look myself but it's all personal preference
Small details help😊
Love this car beautiful design nice interior very powerful 😎
How much for it??? I have life insurance on da ol lady LMAO

What a beauty
Thats about as perfect as they get.. Jealous
Reminds me of a hot wheels car with the color scheme and rims on it.
Talented & humble man there 👍

That's a gorgeous baby. I like the plate!
Really clean car and that plate is perfect
That color combo doesn't sound great on paper, but looking at it, is perfect. That kids got vision. Thank you.

C2 fans I'm sorry but the early C3s are the epitome of everything Corvette. Best looking hands down 👍🇺🇸
Million thumbs up on this build it is one bad ass Corvette

How the EF do you find these guys??? Or do you they find you?? Gorgeous rides my brother!!!
Looks totally Hotwheels-esque with its color combo & wheels which is cool. 😊👍💙❤
Wow! I saw this Vette on the freeway this weekend. 210 fwy
Great ride !
Had one of these in the 70s. Fun.

Mate u have built an awesome machine looks insane and to say built it in the garage well done some shops can’t do that .
Thank you sir.
But did he actually build it?

Junk STILL cracks
I would love to visit that garage
This Is a Really beautyful corvette, i'm not a fan of a Convertible corvette, but this is really Beautyful but for me She Need A side Exhaust
Or at least the original style pipes out the back. Why the '74 and later style turndowns?

Wow, beautiful Corvette, what a fantastic job that was done on this car. Would love to own it…,,

My favourite colour
I just brought a 68 327 3 speed coupe back from the dead. Nothing special but she’s mine. Sexiest thing in the garage.
The stance is perfect. Must be the nicest C3 I've seen.
Love the colour combo

That chassis flexin 🤣🤣👍
Good stuff.
I would stance it differently...but there's mostly hotness here.🏁
This has always been my favorite body style 😎

Yes and yes!
I really would love to see you and Jay Leno do something together on the car tip
That would be awesome!! He’s right down the street from my shop too…maybe someday

suspension all rebuilt using aged cracked bushings! classic
