Finally KTM figured out what Yamaha figured out several years ago with the T7, that motorcycles should look cool and inspiring, not like the fugly 790/890
Im a die hard fan of ktm from India, as cousin of ktm also a great fan of husky too... Husky also shares engines, chassis, swinging arm etc... And im a follower of norden 901 from when it was showcases in 2019.As a great fan of it i hav to tell you great appreciation to you husky team and that kiska team who makes beautiful design for ktm and husky... And i want to mention the things that the norden 901 misses from real one... Like the tail on showcase was tiny but this releasing meemdel has almost same as vit/svartpilen...if it was tiny like ktm afv series... Would be better sharp tail... And if you are releasing it without that black plastic around the headlight it looks little ugly...that plastic pop out from headlight was better... Hope you add in release... Other things are perfect ok... Expect ing it comes in 2 variants one with 200 mm suspension and the 240mm models... And expecting less seat height because of that split seat... And less taller than ktm variant s
Biggest fan here from India. However its 901 being designed. Eagerly looking ahead for NORDEN501 in india. Please provide low seat height option for 501. Atleast 790mm.
Quando esce? Forza che è la mia prossima moto questa. Il concept è stupendo. Vi raccomando sella regolabile così è accessibile anche a noi che non siamo giganti.
I have PERSONALLY seen six different KTM 790 engines which came with defects that required a complete engine teardown. The quality on these KTM parallel twin engines is NOT as good as the quality on the KTM V-twin engines, and anyone who tells you otherwise either is lying or they just don't know the truth. I've owned 11 KTM bikes, so I like KTMs. But when I buy a KTM it has to be made in Austria. A KTM that is made in China is not a KTM, it is a Chinese bike with a KTM badge on it.
My money is burning a hole in my pocket, hurry up Husqvarna. Your target market is not getting any younger. I can’t waste 12 months good riding time waiting…
The parallel twin KTM / Husky engines are made in China. I know a guy who worked at a very high level at KTM who QUIT working for KTM when the decisions were made to make these engines in China. If you value your time and money think long and hard before buying one of these bikes which come with an engine made by CF Moto in China.
Sorry, but ALL the KTM / Husky parallel twin engines are made in China now. KTM is going for short term profits at the expense of their reputation for quality. I've owned 11 KTMs but I will never buy one which comes with an engine made in China.
Wow this is terrible news...such a bummer. I guess they can’t be top dog forever. Hopefully they abandon this foolish idea before it ruins their entire reputation.
@@skipperdabio Realistically, I would not expect KTM to abandon producing things in China ( or India ). If anything, it is likely KTM will produce even more stuff in China. The KTM stuff that is made in India also has lower quality that the Austrian-made KTMs ( I have hands-on experience with these Indian-made bikes ). Here's another fun detail : the head of customer service for KTM USA does not even own or ride a motorcycle. And KTM USA won't even discuss warranty problems directly with a customer who bought a KTM. This is what happens when the corporate types get control. The customer gets screwed. The only way to avoid being screwed is to NOT BUY the product.
The engines for these bikes and the KTM 790 & 890 are made in China by CF Moto. Some of us care about little things like human rights, and China's record on human rights is as bad as it gets. So I'll give these KTM products a hard pass.
i am one of the lot of people who are waiting for this bike since a looonnnnngggg time!
Finally, it's happening!

When the China-made engine fails, do let us know how cool you think it is then.

Take my money!!

Get this bike out already. I am not waiting another year.

@@GurrasGarage No lol, good Sir :-P It was a fantastic bike, so much fun. OC, we got the Vitpilen, but I did not like that engine :-/
@@Shockernor Maybe so but that was long ago when BMW own the brand, why would KTM make a "new" BMW/Husqvarna motorcycle ?
@@GurrasGarage Yeah, that is true. Oh well, i'll stick to my Rivale a few more years then 🤔
Come to the premier Husqvarna Forum where we are taking about the new Norden!
