I don't know if Husqvarna builds the very best bike, BUT I know they've done some of the best authentic and inspiring adventure film I've seen in a while! Great adventure, Mongolia is a true diamond but only few can explore it.
Ok just watched the premiere. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽wow! Well done Team Husqvarna! I cannot wait to get mine and now thanks to your video I’m pumped to ride and live MORE every day. Let’s go! 🏍️💨
I never thought that two bikers could build such a perfect film. Its like it was filmed by Steven Spielberg. Incredible shots. I'm speechless guys. Thank you for make me dreaming a new kind of life for my next tour.
Incredible video some of the things they did are awesome, making a raft is cool but lowering the bikes down the cliff was insane way to go great video 👍.
I have to say, I've seen many amazing advertising videos but this one is awesome. It's nicely put together, it shoes a product without over-insisting on it and after all the essence of it is adventure... hat's off!
My dealer took a deposit last November and I’ve been waiting patiently. Was hoping it would be this month but looking like April. Such a badass bike. 🏍️💨
How apropos. I placed my order for my own 901 Expedition yesterday, and today this video pops up. Now I have to wait until June for delivery. Painful suffering until then.
All looks perfect, but what about the suport ? How does one get that cinematic movie without a full suport crew? I mean both mecanical / medical/ camera wise. I remain in doubt here. Mid Mongolia without a crew making these high quality videos seems almost imposible to me.
Nice-looking bike, and, considering its origins, it should be a good one too. Is this clip a preview of a longer, more complete documentary of the expedition?
Long wait for us to invest in flyweight On/Offroad bikes with long servos from Husqvarna Motorcycles . If Husqvarna KTM could launch the smaller sibling Norden 501 and 501 Enduro with follow up of Norden 601 and 601 Enduro would be spot on.
No...stop calling it ...The World's Best....you will never be able to proof that!!!I still own a 2004 KTM950 Adventure and will never swapp it for one of these...it has all around Australia...which is Adventure Heaven...without any problems....
Good day, everyone! If you are planning a trip to Mongolia with a motorcycle or have already arrived, we recommend the KTM 2023 Adventure Moto. If you choose us, we will pick you up and drop you off at the airport for free. ❤❤❤
Spent my weekends on the Oil City, Louisiana trails in the 70s. If your bike weighs more than about 200 pounds it is not an off-road bike. If you can't toss it into a deep gully and pull it up the other side by yourself it is not a dirt bike.
Nice video. some pointless tasks though, and mostly without risk. If the bike falls into the river or down the mountain, no problem. Husky will just give the riders another or repair it as they did in Iceland.
This video shows the bikes parked more than moving. I was hoping to see lots of actual riding. This video shows very little of the actual usage of the bikes. Why are there clips of the riders riding camels and horses? It's mostly just showing random clips of riding, then cooking, then pull bikes with ropes. I didn't get any sense of the capability of the bike.
I think people should have the freedom to shoot their footage how they want to, am I wrong? Imagine you take some nice footage but some people complain you should have done more X and less Y.
@@PieterAdriaanvanderWalt completely agree. But this a promotional video for the bike, essentially an advertisement. I expected to see more about the bike than random stuff in a video. This would have also been great if it was a trailer for a longer adventure movie, but that's not happening either.
Trade in de 2022 901 on the Expedition. Tomorrow i can pick up my Expedition. After a trip of 400 km'ters. And the weather will be baaaddd ! Snow, hailstorm and strong wind are the predictions for tomorrow. I will be so miserable and happy at the same time. I can test the heated seat and grips immediatly cause after 450 km'ters i also i need to go home again.🥶🥶🥶🥶 I hope they will not put salt on the roads again.
Now be honest ! How much mechanics with spare parts did follow you on this trip. with the non existing reliability of an KTM engine ,i even would not trust me to leave well known territory! what you done here is a fairytail! already Charly borman and ewan mcgregor wanted it ,and ktm sayd no (with known reason)! apart of that,a nice trailer!
Mike is mr. X. He is a beginner. Everybody can ....... 😡 Do not use this kind of commercial brainwash to potential customers. Putting an idea into their heads that if they buy this machine it is possible for them to achieve such a level of adventure. With the goal to sell as much bikes. This is on a level of Cognitive Warfare. I have been doing these kind of adventures for more then 35 years. A lot of them alone. And i know this is not possible. You need to be in perfect condition. Also mentally because a trip of 3 months will wear you down. And the risc is high. When alone i am always trying to lower the risc. Simply by not taking them. But still they can linger on every corner. Suddenly you can crash. And hurting yourself very badly. You should have also medical skills. And skills to repair your bike. Although soon i own a 901 Expedition i would never use the 901 for such kind of adventure. Simply because in 80 percent of the cases you can not repair it by yourself. Although you would carry an obd and a laptop with software. People that will go on a large trip with this bike should stay in civilasation. It is a big bike. And you need to be experienced before doing dangerous stuff. And while doing that NEVER be alone. What if you simply twist your ankle ? And your heavy bike is laying on its side ? No cell reception ? Then your f*cked. Or you go to a poor country with such a shiny bike. People have been badly hurt for less. Ok, it is peoples own responsibility. And i dig it that ktm wants to sell as much as possible. And even that these kinds of video's are actually commercial video's to get people hyped up. But a manufacturer also has some common sense responsibility. In a few months i go for 9 weeks to Armenia. With this bike. But i do not play it stupid but as safe as possible. And before that i make sure that i have atleast 10 k on the bike. Tried it in my own country with going heavy offroad and so on. Make sure that the bike is ok. And then still it stays a bike with a lot of electronics that can go kaput. That you told that Mike is a beginner is something you were ordered to say. From a script. And 70 percent will buy it. Ride it once in a while with nice weather. But you (ktm) should really not be promoting that going on an adventure shown in this video is very simple and without danger. People should start going offroad very slow and easy and build up from there. And even better taking a practise course and be teached to do proper offroad. To safe themselfs from getting badly hurt. That also could have effect on the rest of their lifes. Once broke four spines. And i am "expereinced". I am not saying that i am promoting that someone should not seek an adventure. But it is way better to start on a drz400 or something like that. A xt660 f.e. Seen people busting their complete leg by a alu case. Bleading like shit. Such things can easily happen. People should know what they are doing before they do it.
How exactly do you get your 901E to Mongolia? - haha. via Russia or China or just fly it in, because you're so rich? ... or your film crew of 12 has them waiting next to your A/C trailer when you arrive - anyway It's a Great fantasy scripted 'advert' - even if unhinged from overland reality. Despres and his mate "beginner Mike on a bike" 👏👏👏👏👏
On the other hand, moto riding unsupported in remote areas is actually not comfortable. Worried about running out of gas, breakdowns, flats, and crashes. Fuel pump quits and you are 75 klicks into walk to try to find help. In moto boots. Tents and food and water and stove? very basic. Nah, not generally worth it. Don't become a problem for the locals. Hauling your sorry harse out of there.
