Hey man, I know you have heard this a thousand times but this video was freaking great. I have this same bike in my garage and the plastic is all busted. I've been trying to figure out what to do with it and wasn't aware of the streetfighter thing. Thanks for the inspiration and I'm starting on my bike tomorrow. Thanks again!
excellent build man. Im looking to do a Salvage Build into a streetfighter just like this and it gives me alot of good ideas. keep up the awesome work!
Just came across this. Looks good! Glad to see more people have done the r6 tail swap since I first posted 4 years ago. That was my first bike and first project. I'm now on my 6th bike and yet I still miss my fighter... Only input I have is the front fender, lose is or chop it down. It's the last piece of bulky bodywork on the F2 and just doesn't it the look. It's the only thing left that gives away that it's a 20 year old bike. Hopefully I'll come across one for cheap and recreate my first bike... this time in track trim, seeing as I don't ride the street anymore. Looks great and keep it up!
I never thought you would see this. Its my first bike and first project as swell. i saw your build on the cbr forum and here on youtube. I wanted to thank you for documenting it. I would've never done it if i didn't have a blueprint available like the one you and r1sabotage put out there.
Not bad brother. Solid build. If you shave down the front of the front fender to match the back of the front fender it will look more aggressive. I did that with a dremel on my F2 streetfighter. Shows a little more tire and makes it look more modern. Great job!
Sick build man and at so low cost. If bike insurance was cheaper I'd get some old bike and turn it to a streetfighter/stunt. Something I could trash on and not care if I dropped it.
Hey great job, put a lot time and money into it, and all paid off well, looks great. I saw your review on amazon for the bike master turn signals and that brought me to your video. I just installed the same front turn signals but I cant get rid of the hyperflash problem. Maybe I wasn't using the included resistors correctly but I went out and bought a set of 6ohm 25 watt resistors and installed those, and they worked for a bit but now the signals have gone back to hyperflashing. Did you overcome the hyperflashing issue after installing the LED signs, if so, how?
iv got the f3 sitting around from back in the day..ill do a strretfighter..what did you with electronics in the tail..and the nose to get a single headlight set up..cool vid
I love your bike bro....I have a CBR 250 but i don't know how to make it beautiful. ..you are my inspiration brother... Your fan from Thailand. God bless you. Yuzni
Thanks for the kind words Yuzni. I'm no more capable of doing a build than you are man, lol. For some reason when we see people do cool things on youtube, we seem to put them on some kind of pedestal. Non of us are born knowing how to walk, talk, change a tire, or build a streetfighter. You just gotta find the knowledge, and jump into a project. Don't be hesitant, it's all just nuts and bolts.
this was really great and inspiring to watch. I got so much questions but one is, did you take the engine apart to paint the whole thing, or did you really just paint the frame and engine at one go?? Awesome build man. I have a 92F2 I'm planning on doing.
yayy funny comment the purple f2 with nice original fairings has been my dream for a while i found one in riverside now i need 2500 such a good price!!
hey i need a little help with this set up. I've cut the subframe 6inch sane as you but i can get the trail on the right way. i want to know, were you able to use the under tail with the rear fairing? how did you get the seat and cowl to mount on? can you please type up a summary of what you did to make it all work?
Awesome video and awesome job on that bike bro. Seriously. You made it look ridiculously simple too. One suggestion? Lose that front fender. It looks really old compared to the rest of that badass ride.
Did you just cut the frame and drilled new holes for the tail? And how did you paint the engine/frame? By the looks of the timelaps it looks like you just painted it on the frame/engine without screwing everything apart. Look INSANE man, good job!
Awesome streetfighter..... Great video! I've got a 1991 cbr600 fm and I've just started turning it into a streetfighter please could you tell me what you did with all the wires around the headlight as I'm struggling to hide them as well as you have! Also what clocks did you use and was it plug and play?
Very nice job brother. I'm doing a 650r now as my streetfighter bike. What prep work did you do before painting the Engine aside from masking? Yours turned out awesome!
Hey man, this bike looks amazing. I just picked up a CBR600F2 and its all messed up. That bike looks amazing! Absolutely stunning! I know you have gotten this a couple of times from other people. But the rear tail section from the r1, I know you said you changed it, but could you have kept it, and just not rode a passenger? I'm thinking of stealing your idea due to the fact the PO cut my tail section of my frame, and when I mean cut, I mean he cut almost all of it off. Any Help or knowledge from trying that seat would be greatly appreciated
So u don't have to cut the frame at all if you want to switch up the rear plastics on cbrs? I want so badly to build a street fighter out of a older sport bike but that tail section grosss
Muchas gracias.
Dude this is sick. Im going to be doing a 94 f2 Street fighter build in the upcoming weeks. Loving the front light. No bad blood if i get one too? haha. Kick ass man. Ride safe.
I see what headlights, tail lights and speed meter you used my question is where did you get the seats? Would you mind emailing me all the links where you got the parts? I just started taking my 94 CBR600F2 and since I am taking the engine apart due lower cracked on crankcase I'll paint them at the same time. Thanks in advance and I love the outcome.
By far the sickest F2 street fighter I've seen.
Thanks buddy

Lee Johnson ...did you finish your build , or did it never get going mate???.
Totally awesome! Excellent build and excellent vid.
excellent build man. Im looking to do a Salvage Build into a streetfighter just like this and it gives me alot of good ideas. keep up the awesome work!
Wow what a quick worker, looks like it was done on saturday afternoon and finished in time for tea
My first bike was this same model and livery with the pink stripe removed. same slip-on. very nostalgic!
That is amazing. I am sure the work was 20 times harder and more involved than it seemed

Thanks bro...I really want to do something on my bike...but don't know where to start...
God bless you bro and thanks for replying my comment...
Came out way better than I was expecting! Is the rear seat just for show now with the sub frame cut tho? 😂
this was really great and inspiring to watch. I got so much questions but one is, did you take the engine apart to paint the whole thing, or did you really just paint the frame and engine at one go?? Awesome build man. I have a 92F2 I'm planning on doing.

What did you have to do to make the r6 tail fit.? I've got mine but I'm not sure how to make it fit with the r6 seat or how to mount it

loved the build! do you have a parts list? I was wondering where you got the led setup and the digital gauges
Could you tell me the different types of black paint you used?
Thanks mate.
Looks like an adventure/ cruiser to me.
Vau - bravo
Awesome video and awesome job on that bike bro. Seriously. You made it look ridiculously simple too. One suggestion? Lose that front fender. It looks really old compared to the rest of that badass ride.
good job dude
Thanks amigo
Nice!!
Thanks Gary!
can you pilz link the Tail Rear Fairing ?
amazing build !
I'm really late, but it's an R6 fairing
i can't get the bottom and too of the rear fairings to fit properly due to the bars on the subframe. any suggestions?
I wanna do a similar tail section on my F2 how did you do that. Whats involved? And does it all bolt on?
Did you just cut the frame and drilled new holes for the tail?
And how did you paint the engine/frame? By the looks of the timelaps it looks like you just painted it on the frame/engine without screwing everything apart.
Look INSANE man, good job!
Buenas bro espero me puedas ayudar
Que piezas son compatibles para modificar mi CBR 600 1999?

Thank you Sam, means alot!
Awesome streetfighter..... Great video! can you tell me what tail that you swapped yours to and how did you mount it?
From what motorcycle took back the plastic?? З якого мотоциклу взяли задній пластик???
What did u do with the cords from front light?? Do they hook up into that headlight u got. What headlight is it??. How did u hide cords?
You are good
Wow! Le quedó suuuper bien.... estoy pensando en hacerle algo asi a la mia... es una CBR929RR año 2001.... felicitaciones por ese buen trabajo!..
Muchas gracias. Me encanta la luz de la 929, y el estilo no se ve tan biejo como la mia se veia. Si yo fuera usted, no la cambiaria. Pero esa solo es mi opinion.

Thank you Ray!
Did you end up working on that f2? Any pics or video?
Hey man quick question for the new seat that you put on what bike did you get it off? And how much did you know to cut off the rear frame ?
I see what headlights, tail lights and speed meter you used my question is where did you get the seats? Would you mind emailing me all the links where you got the parts? Where did you get the seat and lights?
