I refuse to accept that Susan Sarandon is 70 years of age! She looks radiant!
She looks amazzzing!
She does look amazing... her surgeons and dermatologists are brilliant and she hasn't overdone anything and developed that generic freak look.
Uh...you can see what looks like a plastic surgery scar on her jawline by her chin at around 1:18. When you're a natural redhead, you don't get skin that smooth at 70 years old unless you've had work done.
bluedasher74: Anyone who thinks that a 70 year old wealthy actress has a natural face is very ignorant to reality. This woman clearly has had a number of things done to her face (and body no doubt).

Susan Sarandon deserves the roles Julianne Moore is playing on cinema and Jessica Lange deserves half the roles Meryl Streep is being offered. Two stunning pure gold talents who felt the need to migrate to TV.

They did such an amazing job bringing these people to life again! I loved the depth of the story lines and the portrayals were absolutely wonderful! What a talented cast!!!

damn everyone in these comments are so brutal. the pilot of the show was amazing. she plays bette fantastically. why does everyone want her to do the full voice imitation? it would be hacky after a while. Imagine someone playing DeNiro or Christopher Walken and doing the impression for 12 hour-long episodes. itd get stupid.

Susan Saradon is an amazing actor and i enjoyed this interview. Also, I am watching the Feud Series and she and her cast of actors are awesome to watch in this fantastic series.

She's just the loveliest of Trump's useful idiots, isn't she, working so hard to defeat Clinton and all. I'm sure happy for her she's too rich to worry about Social Security and health care. No, she supported Sanders and then Stein - but she campaigned viciously against Clinton. On election day, there were only two possible winners. She couldn't stand Clinton, Clinton lost, so she got what she wanted, and I hope she's happy with it.. I feel the same way about all the Sanders and Stein people who were so self-righteous that they either did not vote or voted 3rd party - and much of their "information" on Clinton came either from Russia or the right and had no substance to it. So, now we have Trump. Thanks.

This Susan Sarandon interview has NOTHING to do with Hillary Clinton or politics! But no sweetheart, much of the 'information' came from Hillary Clinton, herself! The election was hers to lose. She took much for granted, ran a terrible campaign (some would say a DEPLORABLE campaign) not even visiting many states, and she had no clear message. She lost and only has herself to blame!
All the comments just relate to how great she looks - if she looked like a normal, aging woman, the comments would be cruel. That's what Joan and Bette went through in Hollywood. It just goes to show that nothing changes when it comes to women getting older. This is what Susan has fought against for a long time.

It is true that there is not really compelling roles for older women in Hollywood unless you're Meryl Streep. Writers and directors should step up to the plate!

From the clip they showed, I think Susan did a really good job. She doesn't sound like Bette (and who could, really), but she has Bette's vocal phrasings and intonations down pat.
It's about the backstory of their relationship.., looks well written. I'm sure Jessica and Susan had a blast playing these roles!

Davis when Miss Davis was still alive Miss Sarandon herself said so in previous interviews, I also knew about the miniseries that began on march the 5th on Fox I recorded all of it until the season finale with Jessica Lange as;Joan Crawford. & Catherine Zeta Jones as; Olivia De Havilland Alfred Molina & the rest of the Fabulous cast & crew!!!

I love Susan--and my gosh she looks 20 yrs younger than her age!!---and she has more than a passing resemblance to Bette--but once she opens her mouth in the clip its kind of over--if the clip is an example of her performance she didn't try hard enough in her impersonation--I mean, c'mon--a drag queen in Frisco would have been better. Not asking her to do a characature--but she sounds like Susan Surandon with a bit of Boston thrown in. Not to quibble but that scene between her and Joan at beginning never happened--pure fiction.
