Freddie Aguilar was during my time. Imelda Marcos saw his performance and endorsed it. Freddie wrote this song because of regret. He remembered his parents, how parents love their new born that even through they lack sleep, the night they watch over the baby's sleep. Freddie had the chance to continue his education but stubbornly threw it all away getting into bad vices ... he never thought of them. The chorus of the song ... is full regret ...saying that now you realize ... you were wrong.

Freddie Aguilar was during my time. Imelda Marcos saw his performance and endorsed it. Freddie wrote this song because of regret. He remembered his parents, how parents love their new born that even through they lack sleep, the night they watch over the baby's sleep. Freddie had the chance to continue his education but stubbornly threw it all away getting into bad vices ... he never thought of them. The chorus of the song ... is full regret ...saying that now you realize ... you were wrong.
