I have a problem using multiple products. But should I add a peptide to my facial regime. I'm 71 yrs old, I've been doing cleansing, Avene product & adding sunscreen during the day. All those "under" $10 & $20 add up financially & remembering which is which & when. It is confusing. I am a minimalist. But I want the best bang for my buck for I'm retired & on a fixed income. But I want to look the best I can for my age. What, if anything, should I add to my facial care regimen. I hope you will find time to answer this because I am almost out of my Avene product & if I should continue & buy it again. Thanks, I hope you will reply to my request.
It sounds like you are on the right track. Simplicity is everything and Avene is one the top brands. I use Avene...however I am younger than you nonetheless, I hope she answers you. Your regime sounds sane and effective. Good luck.

I was wondering about the peptides. I do go to the dermatologist too and am on Altreno Tretinoin .05 & ZO growth factor . I try to incorporate a moisturizer that does alot of things into one . Does it matter if no peptides ?

If i have a dry skin and i want to start a retanAl or tretinoin 0.025 . Is it ok to use an ointment on the face like vanicream or moisturizer like ceraVe moisturizer first then apply the retanAl or tretinoin and then apply the ointment on top to avoid any possible issues?
I mean if you feel that your skin is dry and you need a moisturizer then you could get this, otherwise don't. My skin is dry and eczema prone so I use a moisturizer every day. Once I finish the one I've got I might try this one.
Looking at the ingredients it seems like it might be better for oily leaning skin with the mattifying/silicone ingredients? Have you checked out the Paula's Choice 6% mandelic acid + 2% lactic acid liquid exfoliant?
Aren't all ceramides in face cream the same after all for so many years it was cerave I think all it is is a good moisturizer with basic good ingredients . I would not expect to look 10years younger because of that 😂😂😂❤❤ still is very affordable for good ceramides and glycerin ❤
Probably. The inkey list says it can be used day or night. It also doesn't have any hyaluronic acid in it which Dr. Locke tends to not like in moisturizers you use with retinoids.
I don’t like this brand . They always use silicone…it’s “bad manners” in modern cosmetology .. so this feeling of moisturized skin is just because you wear a plastic pocket on your face
