I don't think he wants peace, he just chooses to play along as he's being surveilled and he's curious to see how far Mitsuki can get following Boruto's path. In Naruto Retsuden (it's a canon novel written by Kishimoto which is set in Boruto times), Orochimaru and Naruto have a fist fight because Naruto can't use chakra temporarily, and Naruto realises that Orochimaru hasn't changed at all and Orochimaru himself said "no I haven't changed and my intention is to kill you right now" but they get interrupted

@@yashagoro5438 that's a good thing to know. I never bought for a second that Orochimaru turned good. Even in the fourth shinobi world war he helped save the world so he can save himself from not dying or being trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
I could watch him for a lifetime and still be shocked by how handsome he is.🌙🐍

Why Orochimaru never appeared in Boruto manga
@@jakuzzzuHe won't, when a character is made to be anime only, they won't appeared in the manga at all. I don't think Kishimoto is the kind of guy to pull anime only character out of nowhere in the manga tho
He appeared in the Naruto Retsuden novel though which was written by Kishimoto and it set in the Boruto-era

His obsession is only with knowledge & immortality... he has no ambition to become the strongest... his crimes aren't motivated by domination but curiosity... people like Orochimaru are dangerous, just need a little spark that makes him interested then he can become evil because curiosity
Orochimaru is a real villain ong. He should had been punish for his crimes but instead only Sasuke got it🤦🏽
